I love these shoes!!
It's true, the heel is a little odd because the zipper is in the back, so you have to get the zipper over your heel and it can be awkward. But I just wear thin socks. Once the shoes are on, they are comfortable and so cute. The leather is nice and the calf is comfortable. Because of the wedge heel, you can walk or stand in them for a long time so they are good for work. They look great with jeans and work and I wear them all the time. Great shoes!

Cute but too small -
I loved the look of these boots and could hardly wait to wear them. Unfortunately they didn't fit. My experience with the 8.5W was that they were too small for me and too small for a friend with 7W feet; they did fit a friend with 6.5M.

Very sad -
I liked these boots so much that when I opened the boot, I tried to over look the fact that it looked like someone had already wore these boots. But then as I looked at the heel you could see glue all around the edges. When I tried it on & it felt 2 sizes too small, I knew that I would not be ordering another pair. Very disappointed.

Poor fit -
These are pretty boots, but I couldn't even get them on. I am a size 9 with 13" calves but I could not get my heel into the shoe because the zipper didn't go all the way down. There was plenty of room in the toe (too much in fact) but not enough room for my heel. Odd fit. The calf with was great, a little snug but I like it like that. I bought a half size smaller and the toes got longer but I still had to shove my heel uncomfortably in. Just couldn't make it work.
