This pair of shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have purchased in a long time. The shoes run narrow, but I have a narrow foot and after having it on for a while it just molds to your foot. I love them.

I have had a favorite pair of black shoes I was loath to part with; fearing I would never find another pair I liked as much. Ta-Da, these Rieker's are fabulous! Comfort in the footbed, great grip, and cute as can be on my feet. These are my new favorites. From the first day they felt perfect on my feet.

Runs a little narrow it seems -
I own several pair of Riekers and really like the brand. I read reviews of others that this shoe seemed to run a little small so I ordered my normal size and one size up to compare fit. (Kudos to Zappos for making this not only possible but easy to do!) In particular since I planned to wear a trouser sock with the shoes I wanted to be sure I had enough room. Unfortunately, the shoe was just too tough to get on and off to want to keep it. The normal size actually fit a little snug with a sock but felt the right length. The larger size was still a little narrow feeling and simply too long to be able to wear. The Testadimoro brown leather is a great color and a good casual quality finish. I also ordered the Rieker Liv 06 lace up in the same color. It appears to be the same last as this Liv 01 but in lace up it doesn't feel nearly as narrow.

This is my 2nd pair of Riekers -- in general, I think they are a very well made shoe. I like this one, but a little less than my previous pair. They required more break-in time, and are just a bit tight across the top of the foot (which I'm hoping will resolve with wearing them more). My last pair made it over a year of CONSTANT use -- so that bodes well. The color is not a true black, but not brown either -- which is what I was looking for, but you should know in advance. The little side-buttons add just a little bit of style, so you're not wearing just a plain clog. Versatile for work or casual, and priced quite a bit lower than other similar shoes. Overall, I'd recommend.

Fabulous Shoe -
I have worn Rieker shoes the last 2 years. Fabulous fit and comfort. I had polio as a child and have difficulty finding shoes that work. Rieker is perfect, and so is this shoe.

Love the detail and the design -
This shoe is more like a 7 than 7.5 US. With a mid to light weight sock it fits just right. The side buttons have an elastic portion that gives when walking so that the shoe does not bind. A heavy sock and it would be too tight. I ordered 2 Rieker shoes on the same day both 38 (7-7.5). I was swimming in the one and this one fit. So if you have wide feet, beware on this shoe. The color is not a real dark black. In fact, it’s almost a cross between a dark brown and black. The soles are non slip. They did make marks on my classroom floor. I am not sure if it’s the sole or if I stepped in a dry erase marker and it was marking up the room (I found out it was me making the black marks on the floor).

Loving Rieker Liv 01 -
This is a great shoe - so comfortable and really cute. I've been loving the entire Rieker shoe line that I discovered on Zappos. I wear a 5 1/2 M and the 36 fits me perfectly. If you like to wear socks, be advised that there is room for only the very thinnest of socks. You may have to go to a larger size for a heavier sock.

Comfort and style -
Just got these shoes this week and love them! I have a bunion on my left foot so it is hard to find loafer-ish shoes that don't
bother it. But with the elastic goring on the side, the shoe gives and feels fine. Wore them last night to dinner with jeans and I kept looking at the shoes and smiling. They look so great on. Real quality. And with the rubber soles, adds that extra secure feeling from toe to heel. They come with removable insert, so if I want to wear socks, I can take it out for more room.

Good shoe -
Along with the styling, what I particularly liked about the shoe was the stretch material on the sides of the shoe due to having a circulation condition and swelling feet. The shoe was a little tight at first, but did fit nicely after a few wears. Never a blister and nice support.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever owned -
These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I live in the NYC metro area and walk a lot, and if I don't have the proper support, I get ankle and back pain. With these, I've had neither, and yet they're still cute. The only negative would be that I walked in the rain with them on, and they look a little worse for wear. I will definitely buy Rieker again and the Zappos service is the best.

Amazing shoes!
I just love this shoe! It looks great, it fits perfect, I can walk all day in them! Cushy, supportive. It just doesn't get much better than this!

Comfy casual shoe -
This is a great "blue jeans" shoe. It does not have a lot of cushioning but is quite comfortable nonetheless. It has lots of toe room without being too wide overall. I originally tried a size smaller, because of some of the reviews here, but ended up wearing my usual size.

Too Narrow -
This is a really cute shoe but it is too tight and narrow. I don't have wide feet and have always taken a medium width, but I could only get these on with bare feet and even then they were too tight. Socks were impossible. The leather is very soft so they might have stretched eventually, but at this price I couldn't risk it. I think they would have been comfortable had they been wider. Lengthwise, it was just right.

This is quality!
These shoes are very stylish, high quality materials and craftsmanship. Best of all, they are very comfortable. I have arch problems and these are very supportive shoes. Pretty too.

 |  | I have never been a big online shopper until I recently found myself with little time to go out and shop. I was browsing around for some boots online one day and after noticing my boss frequently getting Zappos packages, I decided to check you out. I found some great boots but they were a tad too small when I got them yesterday. I was bummed thinking I'd have to wait several more days to get my boots but I ordered the next size up last night at 10:00. I woke up to an email this morning saying my shipping was upgraded to priority shipping free of charge and would ship out TODAY?! Not even twelve hours after I placed my order! I hardly had time to get the tape on the box to return the first pair of boots and my new ones should be on my front porch when I get home (I tracked them and they are out for delivery!)
