I was concerned with what the "stretch" material would entail, since sometimes it's hard to really see texture in the pictures. There is really no big difference between the front and back panel except the back is a bit thinner.
These boots are super cute! They fit great and look cute. The zipper all the way up the side is great because you can fit them nicely over jeans. They fit snugly and don't flare out at all at the top which is a problem I’ve been having with other knee-high boots I’ve tried on. I'm so happy with this purchase!

Still too small for my calves -
I was really disappointed that I could not zip this stylish boot around my plentiful calves. The shoe part fit perfect and was extremely comfortable, but the idea that these stretch to accommodate large calves just doesn't wash...at least not in my case. Rieker if anyone is listening, make them more stretchy and I'll buy them in two seconds!

I love these boots all ways around. I tried on three different Rieker styles and this is the one I settled on (though they were all very comfortable). These boots fit snuggly but not too tight that I can't pull them over a pair of jeans. I am a teacher so needed something I could stand in all day long and these boots are so comfortable. Lastly, they look great with pants and skirts; they hit just under the knee and keep my legs nice and warm. Great all around boot!

Great boot!
I received order quickly. First time I wore these boots it felt like I had been wearing them for forever! No "break-in" time needed, just put on and go! I have received lots of compliments about what a great looking boot.

Rieker Sarina 75 Boot -
I tried 4 boots before I found one that looked good and fits (I'm a tough fit in general). The stretch panel is a great idea. I have to go up a 1/2 size w/most boots (including this one) to get the width I need so these were a bit long and my foot tended to slide forward (liner seems slippery). Problem solved by gel insert which also gave needed arch support.

I LOVE THESE SHOES! I love the price, the comfort, and the style. The first couple of days are a little painful, but once you stretch them out, they’ll be your new go-to shoes! I walk six blocks to work everyday in them, which is much more stylish than walking to work in sneakers and having to change into cute shoes there. They are true to size and the width stretched for me so now they’re molded to my feet. I am totally getting more than my money’s worth with these shoes!

Great Looks and Comfort -
From the first time I wore these boots to work (retail sales) I have been in complete comfort. I love them. I usually wear 8 1/2 to 9 boot this one was an 8 and it was the perfect size. It looks great from jeans or dresses. The only problem I can see is if you have anything other than a small to small med. calf. The boot would still fit, it stretches, but I'm not sure if that would be comfortable.

Love these boots!
I was looking for a pair of brown boots that were comfy AND fashionable, and these definitely fit the bill! I get compliments on them all the time- they fit well over skinny jeans, under jeans, and are cute with skirts! They are SOOOO comfortable- there was no break in period needed. I have wide, flat feet, so finding a pair of cute boots is difficult... I am so glad I found these Riekers!

A few months later...
I wrote a review back in February about these; didn't get to wear them many times before the snow fell and haven't worn them more than a handful of times since the weather turned cold again - in short, they've had very little use, but just yesterday I noticed the zipper had pushed through the leather (which is very thin) by the ankle. It isn't stress that's doing this - the zipper bends out there because the leather is baggy. I don't think they'll be able to be repaired (leather is actually tearing along the zipper) and the overall quality leaves a lot to be desired. Wouldn't purchase twice - definitely disappointed.

A very comfortable good-looking boot -
The reviews for these boots were somewhat mixed, so I figured I had to order them myself and see. Well, I'm quite pleased. The soles are VERY flexible, which is a fabulous surprise in a boot. I like the leather (I'm picky about leather texture!), I like the color and the styling... I've already had several people complimenting them, and it's only been one week! I've worn them all day with no discomfort. (So I haven't had to play with the insert or remove it) The only thing I'd say is that the ankle is narrow. My feet are narrow, and it's a snug fit on me. Maybe not the best if you have wide feet.

I love these boots -
I really love these boots; they are super stylish on even the grossest winter day. I have thin legs and these are small enough around that I can wear them with skirts, but they stretch so if you have bigger calves or are wearing jeans under they will still fit. The sole is great too, flexible, soft and light weight. I'd recommend these shoes to anyone.

Mixed materials = mixed quality = mixed feelings -
Well, this boot does look nice. And it seems relatively comfortable (runs a little large, I think). It is a very light boot, which is probably good for walking. However, I returned them because the quality was not what I expected, due to the confusing mixture of materials. The boot and front of the shaft is calf, but the entire back is stretch material...the kind you would find on much cheaper boots (the description indicates it is calf/stretch, but I did not understand when ordering that half the shaft was stretch). This material looks fine new, but, in my experience, is easily picked and does not stand up well to normal wear. The boot has a removable footbed, which is great, but underneath the footbed, the inside is cardboard! Also, once removed, the boot still did not accommodate my orthotic insoles. If the price had been half the price, I would have felt more satisfied, but at twice that, the quality did not measure up.

Still Conflicted...
I almost returned these because I don't like how strangely shiny the back of the boot is (the "stretch panel" referred to in the description looks noticeably different from the other leather sections--pretty tacky). They are very comfortable, though, and can go over your jeans. I just think the quality wasn't quite on par with the purchase price.

Good boot -
Good boots are hard to find, especially if you have wide calves like me. This boot is snug on my calves, but since the material stretches, I can make it work. Square-ish toe and ankle straps make this boot look equestrian. No support for my high arches, but they are comfortable for the most part.

Hip & Functional - Definite Keeper!
I looked all over for a tall, flat heel boot that would look cute and feel comfortable. It took a long time (and several Zappos orders), but this is IT! I am between a 7.5 and 8, but the 7.5 fits perfectly in this (yes, with socks on). The boot shaft is angled which creates a slimming effect where it hits the lower leg. The seaming and buckle add dimension without being overstated or flashy. You can go hip/urban, relaxed/casual, or earthy/rugged in this boot - maybe even funky but I don't go there. No it’s not a chic pointed toe high heel or providing Avant Garde sophistication - but that's why a woman needs more than one pair of boot. This one is going to be a fav among the bunch.
One minimal issue is that the brown boot has a black zipper. I may look into getting the zippers replaced so they blend - though they are not terribly conspicuous as is.
Great for the price!

I ordered this boot and the DKNY Hyper Speed 2 at the same time. The Rieker boot is awesome! I have a very high, long, arch and wear a 9.5 in most boots. I have trouble finding shoes that are comfortable for all day wear. I've worn these 2 times for at least 12 hours each time and they felt great the whole time. The back of the shaft is stretch and very comfortable. I've also had many complements on how cute they are. Looked great with mini skirt and tights and also with gauchos. I would love to have another pair in different color.

Great comfy boot -
These boots are really comfy -- I walk a mile to a public transit station to get to work and I almost always wear sneakers and change at work. I wore these with absolutely no problems. I wore them with a shorter sweater dress and got many compliments. Zappos is the best for customer service -- every mail order company should take note!
