I love La Canadienne products; they are the most comfortable boots and shoes and this pair is no different. My only complaint is that the Black was not available in my size so I went with the Charcoal Grey which has a slight green cast to it. I wish they were a little darker and the button was a different color. For comfort and looks they can't be beat. There is no "wearing in" period for these shoes. I wore them through the airport on the first day and they were perfectly comfortable.

Love these shoes! These shoes, like so many made by La Canadienne, stand up to wet weather. I wear them to work in fall and winter months with tailored wool pants or sometimes with a skirt or dress. They are comfortable right out of the box and stay comfortable all day. They are kind of retro in a really appealing way; something my classy grandmother might have worn. Would love to buy second pair of black ones and a pair of brown ones, but not available in my size.

Not as cute in person.
I looked at these many times online before ordering; and finally decided to splurge on the charcoal gray color (I've been looking for cute, gray shoes for at least a year!). Sadly, I didn't find them as attractive in person as I did online. They looked strangely elfish on my own feet! They were true to size and width (I'm 7-1/2 medium). The arch support for me was just okay, but then I have high arches and most shoes with a heel lack in arch support for me. Since they are a bit pricier than what I'm used to spending, I have returned them. My search for cute gray shoes (preferably not suede), and with excellent arch support continues...

It gets messy in the winter here, so I prefer waterproof shoes and boots that look nice, too. These aren't boots, but will get me from the parking lot to the office.

Great shoe!
This is the perfect shoe/bootie, especially for rainy days when you still want to look sharp. Very comfortable and stylish. Runs a little large.

Love These!!
I purchased these shoes last month in brown (a rich chocolate) and they are sooo sexy and smart looking. The suede is very rich and soft. The fit is perfect, like a glove without irritating rub spots because there is a slight give to the suede. They are very well made, as always La Canadienne will not disappoint you. What I love about these shoes is that they appear to look as if you are wearing boots when paired with straight leg jeans without all the excess material that is annoying when wearing knee hi boots with jeans. The slightly squared toe does not lengthen the foot, a bonus for those who wear a size 9 or larger. These shoes also give your leg line a sleek long appearance. The foot bed is very comfortable and the heel height is perfect, not so short/tall. As always, Zappos delivered next day and did not disappoint. This shoe feels true to size and width.

These are really nice-looking quality shoes. I love the grey color too. I have problems with pain in the ball of my foot, so most shoes with a heel -- except if they have a lot of cushioning -- tend to hurt. These shoes are more comfortable than most, but I still have pain if I walk in them awhile. For other people, though, that probably won't be a problem.

Love them - As a young doctor, I’m on my feet all the time, and these are almost as comfortable as my clogs (and much better-looking). Have yet to wear them in winter weather but if my other La Canadienne shoes are any indication, they should hold up just fine.

These shoes are very nice. They were snug when I tried them on, but are leather, so I'm sure they would stretch to fit. I got the grey, and the button really stands out, which I didn't really like, and I realized that if paying for a rain shoe I should probably get a bootie, not a pump, so I returned them. Four stars, though, since they are comfortable and look nice and seem to be very good quality.

Very comfortable and flattering shoe. I found the shoe to be a half-size larger than my usual 7.5, so returned for a 7 and am pleased with the fit.

Super Chic and Super Comfortable -
I saw these shoes first at a upscale boutique and admired them. The store was out of my size. This was my first Zappos.com order and I could not believe they were at my door the next day.
The shoes are not only great looking they are comfortable I have worn them all day with no problems. They look good with jeans, dress pants, and skirts with black tights. Very Fashionable.

Gorgeous, feminine shoes!
These shoes look great with pants or with black tights and a skirt. The craftsmanship is very good and the shoes fit true to size. I have large feet (10 ½) and they don't make my feet look huge. Very comfortable from the moment I put them on. Plenty of toe space, too.

My Favorite Shoe Right Now -
I like that this shoe by La Canadienne is very well made. It even has lining on the inside.
It is a very stylish shoe, which looks equally good with a pencil skirt or long pants.
The trendy grey color works with this fall’s fashion.

Destany is a great shoe -
It's comfortable for what I consider to be a reasonably high heel and avoids the "dowdy" look that my daughter criticizes.

BEST ALL AROUND PANT SHOE!!!
I just purchased this shoe and it is fabulous! It runs a little narrower than other shoes in this style, which was great for me. The leather is beautiful, mid-heel not too high, but stylish & super comfortable! I have had a foot injury, old back injury and a broken hip and these shoes feel great; I was able to walk quite a distance to a football game; no problems. The padded insole felt great and I like that they are weatherproof. Looks great with dress pants for work as well as my jeans. Thank you!!!

Incredible comfort and style and waterproof too!
Who would have guessed that I could have it all? No one could be more surprised than I. Clearly this company has thought it all through. This shoe can go places that are wet or dry. It is fashionable enough to dress up or down be it evening trousers or jeans, work meetings, social events. I am delighted. Comfort is everything to me these days. I spent too many years compromising fit for fashion. Now I have both in one shoe. It is slightly roomier in all directions but not by a 1/2 size.
