I waited 8 months to review these sandals. They have very comfortable soles and are basic and cute. However, the elastic on the strap is totally shot after just 8 months. I am really disappointed. I am seeing if a cobbler can fix, and if they can I will be happy with these again. But I don\'t think that this issue should happen for the price you pay.

Very comfortable shoe, can walk all day in these. Nice looking, too, especially with jeans, long pants. Got a pair in brown and black. Great support, especially if you have high arches. Like the heel (I can't wear flats).

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I even wore them to walk the dogs! I got the green/sage color because it\'s a neutral and it goes with everything. You will not be dissappointed!

Ordering this shoe on line I was worried that a backless shoe with a heel wouldn\'t grip my foot well, but this shoe fits like a glove! It is also one of the most comfortable shoes I\'ve ever worn bare footed. I don\'t usually give my opinion, but I am so pleased with product.

I love this sandal. I have had it for 2 years and I wear it every day. Still does not need to be replaced. It took a little time for it to break in. The leather was a little hard at first. Now, they are the only shoes I wear.

I'm a Dansko fan, mainly as a result of a broken ankle and (more recently) a total ankle replacement. The rocker sole helps my gait, and the availability of Dansko shoes (some, at least) in my large size 12 (43 European) is helpful. While I usually wear closed-toe shoes and compression socks (my toenail is mangled as a result of the break, don't ask me why or how, and my ankle is less than a thing of beauty as a result of all the surgery), for my daughter's wedding I got a pedicure complete with a gel toenail, and used makeup on my scars. I settled on the Sela because it had no ankle strap. The shoes were remarkably comfortable throughout the wedding, reception, and even dancing! I only wish Dansko would make all of their women's styles in a 43. I do find that while some suggest that a 42 is equivalent to a 12, that has not been my experience; and I'm a "small" 12.And I wish Zappos would add Dansko to its Canadian site!

As Danskos go, this one is very light and easy to wear. It's very comfortable except for one thing. It rubbed me badly on the tops of the straps in two places after only a little over an hour of walking. It's still doing it after several wearings. In short, I love the shoe except for the rubbing, and wear it often, but only when I don't have to stand or walk for long periods of time.

These sandals are comfortable however the light color fabic that your feet rest on may not have been a good choice of material. I can see wear in a very short period of time.

This sandal is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I am a big fan of the Dansko clogs, and this may be even more comfortable. It has perfect arch support and the footbed feels cool and refreshing every time I slide them on. The only minor complaint I have is that at first the straps rubbed my feet a bit and that took some breaking-in, but I thought it was worth it because it is such an ergonomically great (and cute) shoe.

Nice, light platform sandals with a lot of style to go with the comfort. Most comfortable sandals aren\'t stylish, but these are both comfortable and stylish. None of the ugly metal staples like on some other Danskos. Less arch support than I\'d like, but I have a high arch and have trouble finding sufficient support. The straps are a little stiff and can rub, especially the one over your instep, but they do seem to be softening up as I wear them. I really like the instep strap which keeps the sandal from flopping up and down. Overall, I\'m pleased.

I have ordered several pair of shoes from Zappo.\r\n I have never had better service or faster delivery from anyone, anywhere on the internet. I don\'t know HOW they do it, but the order arrives literally hours after placing it! The items are perfectly packaged and the return policy is excellent. Very comfortable shoes...I have plantar fascitis and these shoes do not aggravate my condition. I love walking in them. Highly recommend to anyone with sensitive feet. Also, I wore them from day one without any rubbing or breaking in period.

Comfortable as only Dansko can provide! Buy one half size larger than usual. Bought green and is a bit closer to khaki, more neutral than it appears on screen! Strap across top allows for some width flexibility.

Purchased from a store 50 miles away. Too far to return. Got the white/cream. Scuffed right away. Also, the light colored fabric bed is quickly collecting bits of dirt, no matter how clean my feet are when I put them on. They don't fit as well as I'd like, and adjustable buckle is not quite right. Also, buckle and elastic itches. I think the elastic will soon fail in this hot environment. However, the arch support is great! Love Dansko's in general.

I was looking for the perfect Dansko sandals and I've found them! I love Dansko! This is my 4th pair. I was suffering from daily feet pain (plantar fasciitis) for a year, and since wearing Dansko every day, I have had no problems with my feet (or back). They are so comfortable and I can wear them with to work and play. The other thing I loved about this particular sandal is the fact that it came in a size 43 so super comfortable. I have other Dansko sandals in a size 42 and they are just not as comfortable. What's more is I am a physician, and I have been recommending Dansko to my patients suffering from feet pain.

OK, this is my experience with the fit issue. I normally take a 39 (US size 8.5 or 9) in Dansko. The 39 just, just fits--length is basically ok, a hair on the short side, seems about 1/2 size smaller than expected. I would say if you tend more toward 8.5 you would be ok in a 39. But the new footbed has a pointier toe which leaves my big toe ever so slightly hanging off the side. I could live with it, but for what I'm spending I am ordering up a size to see if that works better. I am hoping, however, the straps aren't too loose--if they are, I'll keep the smaller size. The look is adorable, makes your feet look flatteringly small. I ordered the celery which is a neat color---somewhere between khaki and olive. Will go with everything. Not wild about the foamy footbed though--a little too absorbent for hot sweaty summer feet.

Zappos service is great! This shoe has the wonderful supportive sole you expect. The color is great, natural, and neutral, and coordinates with most greens, browns, yellows, and dark blue. The shoes fit beautifully, but be prepared for some rubs if you walk in them a lot right away, since the leather is a bit stiffer than some other Dansko sandals.

Love these shoes. Cute and comfy. I have wide feet with low arches and still find these comfy. I have always shied away from Dansko shoes thinking they weren't for me, but now I will give other styles a chance next time I'm shoe shopping.

Love these sandals and love, love, love Zappos, too! I ordered these sandals because I have closed toed clogs from Dansko and they have been very comfortable. Wanted the same comfort in a sturdy sandal style to wear while sightseeing in major cities. Ended up opting for the celery colored sandals and wore them all over NYC the first day that I had them. They were surprisingly comfortable. As with any new shoe worn for a long period of time, they rubbed in a couple of places and I did end up with a couple of blisters. Breaking them in and a bit of moleskin have since remedied that. Zappos could not have been better -- got them to me in a flash, before the promised delivery date!

I love these sandals. I wear Dansko for the support they give me. I have been wearing them for about 7 years now, and they are one of a few brands I can wear to give me the support I need for my arches. I had plantar fasciitis and these keep me from having problems.

I'm happy with the Dansko sandals; very cute and extremely comfortable. Size 37 is perfect for me (I usually wear a size 7 or 7-1/2 US). Zappos, as usual, got them here immediately. Thanks for the great service.

The shoe feels and looks wonderful, but the disappointment for me is that the construction of the cross bands allow the little toe to escape from the shoe which is very annoying. The only way to prevent this from happening is to wear socks or stockings which I don’t like to wear.

These are my favorite shoes right now. They are so comfortable. The sole is cushioned and soft. They look nice and keep my feet supported. I'm considering a second pair in a different color.

 |  | Want you to know these shoes I ordered will work out just fine for me. I had to return two other pairs of shoes I thought would fit. I've gone through four surgeries on my left foot for cancer which has changed my foot size and kept me in a wheelchair for several months. Thanks to your return policy I was able to find a walking shoe that now works and I'm able to get around. You made it possible for me to get on my feet again. With time I'll purchase other shoes when my feet reach a stable size. Since my foot size is far wider than average I also appreciate you increasing your inventory of wide shoes for selection. With time, you'll gain more customers for these shoes and find they'll be loyal to Zappos!
