This is such a terrific and versatile shoe. It dresses up, but still looks appropriate for every day. I think it appeals to girls who are outgrowing the mary jane look... since the elasticized strap looks "hip" while it keeps shoes on feet that seem to be growing unevenly at this stage. I wish it came in larger sizes (up to 34 or 35)!

Urban Hip for Middle America -
I really like these desert chukkas. They go nicely with jeans as well as with shorts. They are comfortable and hip, but not too hip for a middle aged man like me. Very nice fit (size 15 D) and comfortable too.

This is a first -
I own 10 pair of Timberland, all in size 10.5 This shoe in 10.5 has a duck-billed platypus extension on the toe area that might be TWO sizes too big. The shoe looks great, but what gives with the enormous forefoot area? Still working with Zappos great customer service to get the right size.

Great Summer Boot -
Size 15D - Taupe Canvas. I'm very pleased with these Chukkas. They're very stylish and very comfortable. They fit perfectly and will be great to wear with shorts during the summer or even paired with nice jeans for a casual night out. COULD. NOT. BE. HAPPIER!
