Attractive and comfortable -
This is a good-looking, slightly edgy dress shoe. Also pretty comfortable for a dress shoe, which is what I was hoping for since my other Dr Martens are comfy. The only drawback is that I show a bit of toe cleavage in these shoes. It doesn't bother me, but people have commented on it--so you might want to avoid this shoe if you like to keep your toes totally hidden.

Loved these shoes -
I bought these shoes quite a while ago and have been wearing them a lot. I love them. They have just a touch of funkiness to them and are very flattering and kind of sexy. They look great in all kinds of pants (jeans, flared, wide leg slacks, dressy, casual). They have held up really well. If I could change one thing about them, it would be that the heel end not be made of such hard material. They are noisy. But, probably because the hardness is why the heels have lasted so long with so much walking. The leather has kept its shape and the strap is still in great shape.

Cute Shoes -
I had to replace a pair of vintage-looking double-strapped with a Louis heel and while these aren't quite like those at all, they work. The toe dips down low so that sometimes I get a little toe cleavage, and the strap is a secure ankle strap. The heel is slightly lower than the standard 2.5-2.75" heel on most pumps (I know the description says the heel is 2.5", but it feels lower to me). They seem very durable. Very cute and look great with dresses or jeans. The only issue I have had is that the upper outer edge sometimes cuts into my foot when I walk and rubs the skin off. I am not sure if this is a fit issue or if the leather is just too hard (I wear these with bare feet, too) but if I put on a band-aid it's a non issue. I'm hoping that this lessens as I break them in.

Love these shoes!
These are really cute mary janes. I wear a size 8 1/2 and I purchased UK size 6 and they fit perfectly. I definitely recommend these shoes.

Cute but weird -
Normally, docs are great. Comfy. Fit my high arch well. These are really cute, but the plastic 'pegs' where the straps are attached gave me awful blisters. I live in fl so hose/socks are not always desirable. I like the shoes but was a little disappointed in the pain factor.

Punk Rock Flapper -
I've always loved, adored, and much later mourned over my numerous pairs of Docs, and these, I'm sure, will be no exception. Finally! A kickin' Mary Jane that's as retro-cool as it is punk rock! Ordered on a weekend and got to my doorstep on Monday (from late Saturday night) and so cute I just might start wearing skirts again. A little painful on my bunions near my toes, but I can fix that. Wear 'em with hose or tights. OMG! 2 die 4! Thanks, Zappos, you guys totally rock, and I'm sure Sid Vicious is smiling down on me when I wear these shoes! Ladies, guys will follow you and punk guys will WORSHIP you in these shoes! No lie!

Love 'em!!
I love these shoes! They are perfect with jeans or slacks with just enough of a heel to be stylish yet comfortable. My only critique is that they are a bit roomy. I'm a size 6 and these are a bit roomy, although thick socks help. This is my 5th pair of Docs which have never let me down!

Perfect everyday rock n' roll dress shoe -
LOVE this shoe. I normally wear an 8.5 so I ordered a 9. It's roomy but not too big. I thought of exchanging for a size smaller but was concerned it would be too small. This shoe looks amazing. It's feminine yet rugged and rock n' roll. I do a lot of walking around NYC everyday for work and I can wear this shoe w/ skirts or dresses and still do a lot of walking. Fun, Cute, and looks like it will last forever.

The most comfortable shoes ever -
These shoes look GREAT; retro-hip yet also the most comfortable shoes EVER. Only problem is that they're cut about 3/4 of a size too big - the next size down is too small, but these are huge, even with insoles. I don't know why they can't make half sizes. Just make sure to buy thick insoles with good arch supports and you'll be thrilled. Seriously - they're awesome enough to say they're OK even WITH that problem.

Not Typical Docs -
Obviously these shoes do not look like typical Docs, but I was looking for something to wear to work that was different, but not inappropriate. These fit that bill, but my only complaint is that they do not have the usual Doc non-skid bottom. I was a little disappointed in that. The heel is hard plastic, and slides some, especially where I work with walking up and down smooth hallways all day. They are very comfortable though, and could be dressed up or down.

Prim, proper and EDGY!
It’s heavy duty, feminine and great with black tights and a short black skirt! A bit too wide for me, but an insole made them perfect and provided a little bit more cushioning in the footbed as Docs aren't for wimps. I also got the 20" laced zip boots and love them, too. Same deal with the width problem and the insoles solution. I'm ready for fall and winter; only wish Docs made dressy mules "Doc Style".
