Neat and Comfortable Mary Janes!
A wonderful alternative to the clunky athletic shoe, just as comfortable as my Reeboks, but they look much nicer. I got these to wear with jeans and chinos, but they look neat enough for nice slacks or dressy casual skirts or dresses. While the molded sole is shaped like walking shoes, these look neater and more tailored (and more feminine) than most. I ordered my usual 7M and they fit great. Soft leather, soft padded insole, lined in heavenly suede that feels like velvet. Comfortable with or without socks or nylons. A great buckled strap, not too high on the foot, but low enough to keep them on your feet. Yet, I can slip them off easily without unbuckling. You can add extra holes in the strap if you need to, I didn’t. The back at the heel is very soft, unstructured, so I need to grip the back to slip it over my heel instead of just sliding my foot into the shoe. My guy thinks these look good with my jeans or chinos and he teases me by stepping on the heel and pulling it off my foot! He likes to watch me struggle to slip it back on, but that’s my problem not yours. These look great with opaque or ribbed tights or nylons and shorter skirts or dresses. Ordered these on Friday, they came Monday! Way to go Zappos! Oh, they have great traction, should be good running around in the wet or light snow when it’s not sloppy enough for your boots (spray them with water repellant). While the leather is very soft, I think they will shine up well with shoe polish and will stay good looking for a long time.

Comfort is its name! Default option for weekends and errands -
Buy these for those long walks in the city or in the park, for travel, for shopping, etc. where sneakers are necessary but are simply too un-elegant a choice. Certainly more elegant than sneakers, and much more comfortable and convenient in some cases (easy to put on and kick off). The leather is glove soft; wore these out of the box for a jaunt around NY Chinatown and shopping midtown. Didn't even notice them on! Would have been perfect if the look is a bit prettier (the toes part could have been shapelier).

Walking comfort/easy fit -
Very comfortable from the first time I wore it and it got a real workout! Broke it in on the streets of San Francisco for 10-hour stretches and my feet were fine. Except for the fact that I need a bit more arch support, this shoe is a winner. I ordered my usual size (9 AA) for my hard-to-fit foot (high arches and AAA heel) and it worked great since I could adjust the strap. A little sloshy in the width, but I am going to try an orthotic insert. Otherwise, the shoes provided the comfort of a slipper and were great for all of the walking that we did on our recent cruise. Zappos is wonderful for finding the narrow widths that are unavailable in retail outlets. Thank you for your great service.

My left foot is wider than the right and I like being able to adjust the strap to fit the wider foot. Not much arch support but there is enough room for orthotics. I'm thinking about adding gel soles. They're great for an everyday shoe. Haven't tested for walking a lot. Would definitely recommend.

Great for orthotics, comfort and looks.
I bought these shoes for my orthotics. Low and behold my daughter walks in and falls in love with my shoes. And I thought I was going to look like a grandma.

This shoe looks good with slacks, jeans, and some skirts. Accepted orthotics. Heel could be a tad higher. Throat is too deep on one foot - my problem, not theirs.

I have a narrow (2AA) foot so have worn lots of Naturalizer shoes and have always worn a size 8, but had to reorder a size 7 1/2 in this one.

Comfy shoe, but not as much support as expected -
This shoe is very soft and comfy. However, I wear orthodics (and I did manage to fit them into this shoe) and I need a more stiff shoe. I'm still wearing it because the orthodics fit, but wish the leather was thicker/more supportive.

I love it--it works with my Podiatrist ordered orthotics. I took out the original insole, first put in a cheap white thin insole, then the orthotic which is a 3/4 size for dress shoes.
I have the black, could get the brown too. Love it.

Cute and comfy -
I need shoes with removable foot beds (a bit hard to find in cute styles). These are cute, comfortable, and a satisfactory replacement for my last walking shoes. The sole is a bit thin, so after a few hours they turn less-than-comfy, but I'm hard on shoes and my feet- YMMV.

The JULIANA shoe is lovely - a beautiful, soft, and flexible leather which makes for a comfortable fit, especially in the toe area. Its removable insole allows for orthotic inserts and the remaining inner surface is soft rather than rough and scratchy like others I have experienced after removing the insole. Because of the bunion on my right foot, the instep presses on the bone and is the only part of the shoe which hurts; so, since everything else is fine, I am taking a risk and cutting a small slit in the front middle of the instep to relieve the pressure. Despite my size 10, the shoe does not make my feet look large; if anything, the Mary Jane styling cuts the length and also prevents the shoe from slipping off the heel - often a problem when one must wear orthotics. As always, your delivery and return policy make dealing with Zappos a pleasure! Thank you!

Comfort and good looks - Shoes were very comfortable from the first wearing. No rubbing when I wore them without socks. I ordered an 8.5 wide and they fit perfectly. The leather is very soft but they have good support. I am very happy with these shoes and will wear them on vacation tours.

Finally, I found some shoes that the insole comes out and I can put in an orthotic and still walk. I haven't given them the all day true test, but will. My orthotics are by "sole" and will also wear my made to order ones when they come in. Great little shoe.

This shoe is roomy, soft, and supportive. Great with capri pants. I wish it had a higher heel so I could wear them with my jeans. If that were the case, I'd never take them off.

This is a comfortable casual shoe. Looks good with casual skirts as well as jeans. I ordered the C width and it is plenty wide. The B width was too narrow for me. The adjustable strap makes the fit more custom. Great shoe!

I ordered a wide width but the shoe does not feel wide at all. There is not enough support in the shoe for my feet and after a day of wearing them to work, my feet were sore and exhausted! I wish I had sent them back before wearing them but I thought they would stretch and get better with wear - no luck. I would not recommend this shoe for those on their feet all day like I am or for those who like a very supportive shoe. My friends at work told me it looked like my feet were crammed in my shoes!

Better Than Most...
More comfortable than most shoes I've tried but could be better. Could use a little more support and cushion but leather is nice and soft. Also the "tab" in the rear of the shoe is a little bothersome, but these shoes are more comfortable than most.

Heavenly Comfort -
I am 65 years old and I believe this is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I have neuropathy in my feet and it is a real trial to find a shoe that works. Some of the linings are prickly and have stitching in them - this does not. It is buttery soft and not hot. If you are looking for great arch support you can put your orthotics in this shoe.

I like this shoe and kept it. There is a little difficulty in slipping into it because of the cutout at the heel which tends to cave inward. It is not a shoe I would easily take off say in the movie theater because I would have a hard time slipping back into it. I loved the look and the walking comfort.

Very happy...
These are very nice shoes. They are comfortable, but not too bulky. The leather was surprisingly soft and I haven't had any blisters so far.
