Like all boat shoes, these are a bit stiff when brand new. But I broke them in and wore them every day of a 10 day sailing trip. They perform fantastically. Great grip, they dry fast, and they are very comfortable. Great shoe!

I have been greatly pleased by the shoes I have bought from Zappos over the past few years. My feet are very difficult to fit, but I have never failed to get a satisfactory fit from Zappos. In addition, their offer of free two-way shipping makes me less reluctant to order a given style in more than one size. Finally, the wide range of styles and choices allows me to find just what I want. Consider me a 100% supporter of this valuable service.

I have purchased these for my husband who has a very high instep and wide foot. These are the second pair I have purchased. He loves them! True to size, light, extremely comfortable and very, very durable. He is extremely hard on shoes, and basically wears the Dunham\'s out before he \'breaks them down\'. Great shoe.

I love, love, love Zappos! My husband has a very wide foot and it is impossible to find shoes for him. I tried Zappos and they had just what we were looking for. I ordered the Dunham Driftwood Three Eyelet in a 4E. My husband is diabetic and has trouble with swelling so the shoes were tight. I called to see about returning since my printer was not working. The representative was so nice and helpful. Since we were leaving on a trip in a few days and needed the shoes she had another pair in 6E sent to us right away and a return label so I could return the first pair when I got home. Service beyond expectations! The Dunhams are the most comfortable shoes my husband owns and he loves them. We will be ordering another pair in the darker shade. We will also be ordering all his shoes from Zappos!!

Well constructed boat shoe with a lot of breathability. Width fits true to size. Some Dunham styles come in 6E widths.

Excellent Shoes!
These shoes not only look great, they are very comfortable to wear with or without socks. I'll be buying another pair in dark brown very soon.

They not only look great but they feel great as well. I am all about the comfort, since I have had problems with my feet in the past, I can appreciate a good fitting pair of shoes. With these shoes my feet don't get as tired as before... Thank You Zappos!!!

A Good fit for People with Foot Issues -
I have an issue with recovery from foot surgery which has resulted in my ankle, because of arthritis, starting to collapse. Hard to find shoes that I can wear.

These wide Dunhams were a Godsend. My husband wears a 9.5 4E, but the 6E was a better fit. I was thrilled to actually find this stylish shoe in such a wide version.

Look nice but don't feel good -
I have diabetes and my feet are sensitive. These shoes hurt the ends of my toes. The end of the shoe is very hard. Unfortunately, when I first wore them around the house they felt okay. Then when I wore them outside they started to hurt. I cannot return them because when I wore them outside the soles were marked up.

Pretty good shoe - This shoe fits and wears well, although it feels about a half size larger. Would have rated it excellent if the insoles were a bit better – you have to wash them if you wear your shoes without socks.

Very good shoes -
I needed replacement shoes for some old Rockports. I discovered Zappos, did a search, and was thrilled to see multiple options in 12N.
These shoes are good looking, light weight, and seem well made.
Comfort is good. I've had them for 3 weeks now. The tongue needs to break in yet, it rubs the top of my bare foot somewhat.

Dunham Boat Shoe -
Once again expert service from Zappos - they sent them to my hotel ahead of me when I needed them for a trip! The only place I buy shoes.
The shoe is comfortable, but a little different looking from a normal boat shoe - wider toe box, kind of a waxy finish (waterproof).

Awesome Shoes -
I bought a pair of the Dunham Driftwood 3-eyelet and have found them to be the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased. I wear a large size, 13-4E and these are great. I have flat feet so I was a little worried about the arches, but they are very supportive and have room for orthotics, which I add for extra arch support. They have great traction on wet/oily surfaces. I see people looking at these shoes when I wear them. They look sharp and are made of the best quality leather I've seen. Thank you for such great shoes. Well worth the price.

Best Pick From a Long Search -
This purchase was the end of a long search for a boat shoe that would accommodate the high bridge of my foot; something that is seldom figured into most shoe designs which address just length and width. I had hoped that the upper sides would close more over the exposed tongue of the shoe when the laces are drawn, but I suppose one can't have everything. Overall, the shoe feels good and looks good. The price is a little on the high side, but not unreasonable.

Sturdier than most boat shoes -
I find boat shoes to generally be no more than glorified slippers. These shoes, however, have a thicker sole, so they come close to the comfort of a sneaker. I wouldn't run a marathon with them on, but they're comfortable enough overall.

Zappos likes big feet!
My teenage son wears a size 14 EEEE. This size just doesn't exist in most stores. Zappos not only displays the most brands that carry wide sizes, you make it easy to find them with easy sorting. I tell my son to sit down, sort through, and he has so many choices!!! He can find a shoe that not only fits, but that a 15- year-old thinks is cool! And better still, the shoes arrive the next day, and at a reasonable cost. I am a fan and have been shopping Zappos for years, not only for casual wear, but athletic shoes as well. :-)

Nice shoe, very cool and soft, I'm getting ready for the boat season to begin, and they should be broken in enough for sock less wearing. I do like the thickened heel, better stability.

Decent support for a boat shoe... breaking it in was a short and comfortable process. Looks great and besides, where else are you going to find a boat shoe in a size 17? A note to the folks at Zappos: You have wonderful service and your shipping and return policy is the most accommodating that I've ever experienced. I'm never unsure about purchasing from your site because I know that I can return anything I don't like without being hassled, which is very reassuring for a person with large feet that can't shop for shoes in most places. If I had a complaint to make, it would be that these types of shoes sell out too quickly in my size! If Zappos was able to procure more casual shoes from Dunham in a 17D, it would only be good for business... there is certainly demand! I remain a loyal customer and constantly refer my family and friends. Thanks again for a great shopping experience.
