Very comfortable shoes, with room in the toe. The only problem is that the velcro fastener wears out with time so that after a while when you walk it suddenly comes loose and your shoe threatens to fall off. Not good if you're hurrying to catch a plane, or walking with a load of groceries in your arms. I wish they made this with a secure buckle.

Not as ugly as I feared!
I have Plantar fasciitis and out of sheer desperation for something to wear that would not make me cry and wasn't hideously ugly (I can deal with sort of ugly for the sake of comfort), I ordered this style, the Mary Jane Walker by Propet, a pair of PW Minor Mary Janes, and the MBT Kaya. Of the 4 different styles, this one had the most heel cushioning and arch support. However, it seems quite narrow and is not deep enough to accommodate any sort of insert if you wanted to add one. Also, they run small. I'm normally a size 7.5 but ordered an 8 to give myself some wiggle room, and even the 8's felt too small. I'm exchanging for an 8.5, but I have a feeling they will now be too big.

Very comfortable. I bought them for a wedding, knowing I\'d be standing for a long time. I wore them all day yesterday and they are very well padded, especially in the heel, where I need it most. I have no doubt that they\'ll be perfect for the wedding. And personally, I think the Mary Jane style is very cute and appropriately dressy for the wedding and for work dress shoes. I\'ve had Propet Mary Jane Walkers, and they aren\'t nearly as comfortable as these; in addition, they seem a little sturdier. I\'ll get these in the future, although I\'ll probably get one width larger, I think I could use a bit more toe room than the W width gives me.

I bought these shoes for my mother, who just turned 79. She wears a size 12B, so finding shoes in stores to fit her is nigh impossible. We wanted super-comfortable walking shoes in hopes that she would develop fewer callouses and would need to visit the podiatrist less often. She absolutely loves these shoes. Very comfy. At first she thought they looked a bit clunky, but once she put them on, she never wanted to take them off. She even wears them around her house instead of slippers. Now we need a super-comfortable pair she can wear to church.

Great shoes! Bonus: they’re waterproof. I also have problem feet and found them great for walking. Toes are comfortable because they have a high toe box. I think they run a tiny bit short (not a problem with no socks) and a bit wide. I give them 5 stars for style because they’re lots more stylish than sneakers!

These are not shoes to wear with a dress, but they work great with nice pants or very casual pants. Has toe room and lets you walk miles without pain. Almost as good as wearing walking shoes, and look a lot nicer! You do need to refasten the velcro strap from time to time when walking. I will order a spare pair; they're that good. I wish they had more colors to choose from, though. The black looks dowdy, so brown is the only one worth getting.

AT LAST! A COMFORTABLE SHOE!
I have bunions, hammertoes, flat and wide feet. Real hard to find shoe that are wide enough, plenty of room for my toes and look good. Saw this shoe, looked at the toe box, read the reviews and went for it. What a beautiful surprise! These shoes are so comfortable it’s like walking on clouds. Plenty of room for my toes. True to size and I realized I needed one size smaller. The exchange was fast as usual and they fit fine! If you have problem feet, these are the shoes. I got them specifically to wear to church. Thank you Zappos! Keep the wide width shoes coming!

A Great Shoe!!
This is the first shoe that I was able to put on and wear right out of the box, no break in time! Comfy, yes! Nice wide toe box, even accommodated the bunion on my already wide, right foot. They aren't the most dainty shoe in my size, 11-4E but I don't care, my feet feel great. I think they're cute. Orthotics fit fine.

Stepping on a Cloud -
Propet's "Mary Jane" style walking shoes are a blessing. This was my first experience with this particular shoe, and I gave it 4 stars in comfort because the strap is somewhat higher than the other Propet shoes I have, and I am having a little difficulty adjusting to it. Other than that, it could not be better.

FINALLY! A shoe wide enough. It is stylish, comfortable, and fits properly. I would recommend this shoe to friends. My only concern is the strap is a bit too short.

I usually order a shoe one size longer as the width in the toe is too narrow. I exchanged these for my true length. My orthodics fit. Not used to wearing shoes high on the heel and had to get used to that feel. Propets fit my wide foot.

The boots feel true to size but are slightly wide. The boots do not stay up no matter how tight you tie them. So they are definitely a slouch boot.

Fun shoe!
These are cute with jeans or dress slacks. I even wore them with brown opaques and skirt. Having an extremely high instep and x-wide foot, these shoes met my criteria. There are 2 removable insoles so you can customize them to meet your needs. My orthotic fits perfect. The extra wide is Extra Wide. May try the wide next time. They are and will be great for when I travel as my feet swell. Thanks Zappos!

I was looking for a comfortable walking shoe that I could wear with a dress. This fit the bill. Because I ordered with little time in advance of a trip, I wasn't able to see if a longer shoe would work. I didn't have enough time to 'break it in' like I would have liked. It is comfortable and satisfactory in appearance with a casual skirt or dress. I searched all the stores in Spokane, Washington that carry this type of shoe, and nothing could be found. Thanks to you, I had a shoe that was just right for my trip.

This shoe has been the most comfortable work shoe I've purchased. It works very well for my extra wide feet. I've had bunion surgery and these fit my custom orthotic (I leave 1 insole in and take 1 out, and can still fit my orthotic in as well). And it has plenty of cushioning so I can stand for 4 hours at work (most shoes don't have enough cushioning).

Finally shoes that don't hurt!
I am a teacher that stands all day and a very hard fit. I am flat footed, bunions, and have fibromyalgia. These shoes were very comfortable immediately, no break in needed. I am a true size 8, but bought the 8.5 shoes first because I seem to always need that size because of my wide width. My heel slipped in and out a little with the 8.5 so I opted to try size 8. I am pretty sure the size 8 will fit perfect. Wow, this will be the first time I can actually wear my true size. The 8.5 felt wonderful as it was so I can't wait to get my 8's. I will let you know how the 8's work. The style is a little bulky, but I am looking for comfort first and style second. These Mary Jane's look great with slacks or jeans. I LOVE it!
A shoe that fits my duck foot, who'd'a thought??? And CUTE!!! I love it. I've gotten other shoes that were my "size" but this one actually fits. No squishing anywhere, no slipping off heel or around on my foot. Could use a tad more arch support but not noticeably missing unless you're on your feet 24-7 (not that I have ever been ;-). Not only wide enough but doesn't look like I'm wearing a ping-pong paddle. I love the strap which is attached & not on a D-ring; keeps shoe in place instead of wobbling about. I also love the higher heel cup which also keeps shoe in place. My foot is a size 7EEEE with a very narrow heel; normally shoes that fit my toes slip off my heel but this doesn't. PLUS, after all the wonderful feel & fit, it is CUTE!! I got the distressed brown because out here in Cowboy Country, who wants citified feet!! ;-) But it's also wonderful because I'm hard on shoe finish & when I thump these, it just looks like part of the design rather than like I'm a clumsy oaf who can't keep her duck feet controlled, not like I use my feet for radar. ;-) I just LOVE 'EM!!!

I have serious foot problems and can never find shoes that are both attractive and comfortable. I recently purchased the Propet Eve Walker and for the first time does not want to take them off after walking in them all day. These are one of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever had and I get so many compliments on the style. I would definitely purchase them again in other colors when available. Once again Zappos has come through for me for both style and comfort.

Shoe was extremely short.
The 10W, my usual size, was wide and deep enough for my orthotics, but much too short, with my toes pushing against the toe box. I got a 10 1/2 but it was a bit large at the sides and heel and still too short, with all my toes touching the front of the toe box when I walked. Tightening the strap didn't help. I also thought their bulk and width made them look clunky. I returned them.

This shoe is a bit larger than normal, but, if your feet swell, get your regular size. They are not that much too big. They are comfortable, but they do look a bit clunky. However, I am just grateful they fit and don't hurt. I have what my son calls "Barney Rubble feet." I am very difficult to fit, and these do.

A little uncomfortable -
These shoes overall are pretty comfy except the shoe bed is shorter then the stated size, I always take an 8 1/2 and they are shorter then normal. I wore them in the house and thought "Oh these are great!!" so I wore them out and my big toe feels like it is going to poke a hole thru the shoe, they are great because they have 2 insoles, removeable ones at that. BUT they are still too short. I will have to take them to the shoe repair and see if there is a way to stretch them, because they are quite expensive to just let them sit in my closet. Next time I will wear the shoes longer in the house to make sure they fit (because Zappos is so good about returns) I just really screwed up not making sure of the fit!!!

 |  | My order was placed on a Thursday at about 4pm and the shoes were on my porch the same time the VERY next day. Right after I ordered them you sent an email stating that the order was being shipped out right away with NO EXTRA CHARGE TO ME. This excellent customer service must cease at once. I am just not used to it. The shoes were ordered for me to wear to my daughter's wedding and I was hoping that I didn't wait too long to find dressy shoes for my wide feet. The shoes are lovely and perfect.I have ordered from Zappos in the past and as I recall was equally pleased, and have spread the word about Zappos’ quality and customer service (esp. to my wide footed friends).
