Don’t waste your money -
These boots look good but they do not last at all. I bought the black and the brown pair. They take a bit to break them in but they are pretty comfortable if you don’t wear them for long durations everyday. The heel peels off; it is only a layer of leather. The heel is plastic. I crazy glued the sole of one four times.
The upper is great but I wish Ugg would make a quality leather sole for walking around NYC and the subway metal steps. The boots look like 5years old after one season.
The boot is not waterproof or fully lined. Your toes will freeze if you are outside too long.
Ugg does great with the "rubber" sole boots but they failed miserably on this one.
If you are going to wear these on occasion, ok.
But Ugg needs a longer lasting more durable boot.
Check out Dr. Martens, Frye or even HD for this style.

I received for a bday present in early December 2007. I have worn them almost every day since. I love them the trick to keeping your boots in great shape is to polish them every week that you wear them I have black boots so I use a brown polish on the brown leather and I use black on the rest, shine them up and keep them clean. You can not expect boots to hold up if you do not care for them. I also trade them off with other boots from Frye and other great boots. I love them and they have kept my feet worm in a Minnesota winter.

Not Worth It -
These boots are not fully lined. They are not waterproof and they do not perform well in inclement weather. They do not keep your feet warm for the fall and winter, and they are NOT as stylish as they look in the picture. They get scratches very easily, and I have been wearing mine for no less than 2 months and the rubber sole on the bottom has already started to "peel" off. I had a lot of faith in the Ugg brand but seeing as how they have all ended up uncomfortable, worn-in, and moldy I will no longer be buying Uggs.

Update - just not impressed - skip the boots -
Read a few reviews where the soles had to be fixed - after 3 months the shoddy quality of the heel is showing itself on mine as well. The heel is veneer, perhaps this is industry standard, but it's already splitting & splintering -WHAT??
Adore the style, but they look like I've had them a year and this is from average office/city wear, not hiking. Please know that the leather will bleed a little once wet, & color fade if not polished (or even if polished) - and that only good care EARLY will make these even last a winter season. Waterproof with mink oil, condition, not sure what to do with the heel issue, besides get the veneer replaced or glue the pieces that start to fall off. Just stupid.
Conclusion: skip the boots - not worth the price.
**Going to try Bastien or La Canadienne from Zappos next time.**

A Stylish Ugg?
It amazes me to find a pair of Uggs that are so stylish and versatile. I love that these could be worn to one's job on a super snowy day, without feeling that your entire outfit has taken a dive. They're very edgy and chic looking. I ordered a half size up, so that I could accommodate socks, and it was the perfect choice. The rubber soles are wonderful on these, and have prevented a many near busted-bottom on ice (except during the ice storm). They've held up well in rain and snow, and my only complaint is expressed by another reviewer-- I wish they had lined the entire food in sheepskin, instead of just the bottoms and shaft.

The boot is very stiff and by the end of the day my right foot huts. I don’t know why. They king of look more like a fancy rain boot. I didn't expect that.

I wear a 7 in classic Uggs and a 7.5 in other brands' boots and the 7.5 in this style fits well. The mid-calf, sheepskin lined shaft is comfortable with no rubbing. This boot would be 100% perfect if Ugg had lined the upper inside (on top of your foot) with sheepskin instead of just the bottom and shaft. Overall it's good looking and comfortable.

Hated this boot -
I ordered this boot simply b/c I needed a black boot to take on vacation & every other style I liked was out of my size (7)- I was worried that this boot would look too masculine but I read the reviews that said it was "cute" & ordered it anyway- When I got them I showed my husband & he immediately said "You look like a dude that's about to jump on a Harley"- That's fine but (a) I am not a "dude" kind of girl and (b) I don't have a Harley! The detailing is nice but you can barely see it so what's the point of it being there? I do not have huge legs but still could not tuck any of my jeans (7 or Citizens) in the boot and besides, the shaft of the boot is too short for that. They do not feel like my other Uggs which I wear w/o socks even in the snowy weather. I am happy that Zappos sent them quickly & processed my return quickly- I will order again but Zappos needs to keep popular sizes in stock!

Ugg Waverly Unbelievable -
I ordered these boots at 11:15 p.m. and they were at my house before noon the next day! I absolutely love them and have worn them practically everyday. I had wanted a black pair of traditional style Uggs but couldn't find them in my size so I ordered the Waverly. They are exactly what I wanted. The style looks great but the comfort and warmth are what's outstanding.

Perfect boot for winter in the Midwest-- very warm. No "break-in" period as these are extremely comfortable from the time you first put them on. Last, but not least, you get lots of compliments on the style.

Looks just like the picture...
The boots looked just like the picture however they were difficult to get on... I got them in a 9 and a 10 would have been way too big...Wearing a thick sock is impossible...I did a lot better with a trouser sock or knee-hi hose...Once I got them on...they felt comfortable. I really hope they break-in soon!!!!!

Very Stylish!
Love the way the Waverly's look, especially with jeans. They are comfortable, but I'm in Maine and wish they were a bit warmer.

Great Boot - but a little disappointed -
I wore these boots a lot for the first 2 weeks that I had them. They are very comfortable and I could wear them with everything. Unfortunately, after two weeks the rubber sole has started separating from the toe of the boot. If I send it back it will take 3-4 weeks for a replacement from UGG, so I will pay to have it repaired at a local shoe repair.

Couldn't wait to get them. Great with my jeans. I live in snow and they are perfect for that. Wish they were warmer. Not enough wool in them. Had to glue the toe down because it came apart just one week after I got them.

I ordered them in the dark brown and loved how they fit and wore them for a city walk the first day. Received a lot of compliments. My pants were tucked in and the look was great. A VERY COMFORTABLE BOOT. Aside from being a bit heavy, I recommend them!

I bought these as a Christmas present for my mother who was constantly complaining of being cold. I am not joking when I say that she has these on every time I see here--whether she's in the house or not. She loves them!
They are lined with sheepskin everywhere except for the area that hits the top of the foot. My mom has slightly larger ankles, so they were a little tough to pull on, but she has thinner legs so she didn't have to worry about looking like Olive Oil once she got them on. Very pleased!

They saved my Christmas -
I decided this was the style I'd be giving my wife for Christmas a little too close tot he big day. The department stores/malls were all wiped out. Wasn't even thinking of Zappos (for some reason) until my sister mentioned they'd guarantee by-Christmas delivery for no extra charge. Ordered these on Sunday, had them by Monday and my wife LOVES them. She goes on and on about their comfort each time she puts them on and they truly look great in a number of ways, depending on what ensemble you feel like pairing them with. Very versatile, fun and comfy.

The lack of cozy comfy fur lining on the top of the arch is mystifying. Uggs - this is what you are known for, don't skimp on the fleece! The lack of it meant needing socks or having the seam scrape my poor arch and the zipper bite into my ankle. Other people said it in their reviews, I chose to think maybe they were just being a little picky and it really wasn't that bad. Nope. They were right. Though they are a great looking pair of Uggs. I was really tempted to keep them because of how great they looked. Even better in person then online, but just couldn't do it. The search for comfortable good looking winter boots continues. Thank goodness Zappos is so darn easy to buy from! I will now put more trust into other reviews. Shopping Zappos is like shoe shopping in person with my best girlfriends!

I LOVE these boots. They feel like slippers and are so good looking. I've never had comfort and style in one pair of boots.

Love at second sight -
When I first pulled these boots out of the box, I wasn't wild about them. I don't exactly know what it was, but I wasn't sure I'd keep them… then I put them on and modeled for my hip, smart, 30-something, male, urban, professional colleague/office buddy, and he said without hesitation, "TJ, you have to keep them." He went on, "Those are HOT boots!" Now I realize that this little story makes me sound extremely shallow as if a cute young man's opinion made up my mind for me. However, he pointed out a few things that didn't speak to me right away: 1) the close to the calf silhouette, 2) the interesting pattern made by the buckle and strap, 3) the wood heel with the metal plate on the back, 4) the swooping nature of the top of the boot wrapping itself around the leg, and 5) the leather itself. They look great with skirts & with jeans. Once I decided to keep them, I sent the pix to my niece, a young, hip graduate student looking for her first job post-graduation in cities with winter weather. She LOVED them, so I bought her a pair for Christmas. As it turns out, I bought them in both colors for myself and in black for her and we couldn't be happier. We went for a long walk on Christmas day with her dog and bonded over our cool boots! They were immediately comfortable and I've worn them constantly this winter. I guess the moral of the story is not to judge at first glance and always listen to the stylish folks whose opinions you trust! As for sizing, I kept a pair in a 9.5 and a 10. I usually wear 9.5s in running shoes. These are sort of narrow, but I like that. I don't feel like the old Herman Munster in them and my feet are rather narrow and thin, so the boots fit well.

No one can believe these are Uggs!
These boots are everything I hoped for and more. Great styling, sleek look, and great Ugg warmth! I get many compliments on these boots, the crisscross styling is a winner. When I tell people they are Uggs, they practically demand to see the tag. They are not your typical Ugg style. They are extremely comfortable and hit exactly at the right height for pants (not just at the ankle). I have never written a Zappos review, but these deserved it...
