Great sandal! We live in a beach community and my son can wear these to the beach, outside to play or out to dinner. They have gotten wet and sandy and dry out nicely. My son normally wears a size 4 athletic shoe and we needed the size 5 for this sandal.

I really liked this shoe for my eight year old son until they recently broke after about two months of light wear. They have weak sections on the buckle where it connects to the strap and also where the straps connect to the sole. The straps are glued into the sole and the connection is not good. I would not recommend them anymore due to poor construction.

This is the second summer my son is wearing these sandals. We bought the same style this year, only in a larger size. My son is nine years old and wore them every day last summer. He even got them wet several times. Yet, by the end of the season they still looked new. Tough stuff! No breaking in. No rubs or blisters. My son has a wide foot, the straps accommodated his feet no problem without looking strange.

I bought these sandals for my 8 year old son. The quality seems good, the look is very nice and I like that they are leather. My son likes them too. They are easy to put on and take off and my son says they are comfortable. I have been very impressed with Zappos. We always receive the shoes within one or two days of ordering. They come nicely packaged and the return policy is exceptional!
