Well, I had to laugh out loud when I read someone's review in Baltimore saying it was a "blah" shoe. Lady, if you think this is a "blah" shoe, then I think you ought to get your blah eyesight examined. It's precisely because it is not blah but, rather, a sharp-looking shoe and so comfortable that makes it a terrific buy! If you like comfort, but you like to look sharp, whether in jeans or otherwise, get this shoe. And, get it from a fantastic merchant like Zappos. This way, if, in fact, you have blah-impaired vision, you can always return it as easily and quickly as you bought it. You will not be disappointed (unless you suffer from the aforementioned affliction). I've gotten nothing but compliments. And they feel like slippers, no breaking-in (provided you got the right width; I got W). I got both colors. They look as good over a year later. Zappos: you rock!

I love my Clarks Sweetclover shoe! It is comfortable and nice-looking with dress pants or casual clothes. I\'m a 10 1/2, and the size 11 fits me perfectly. I only wish they still had either color in that size, because I would love to get another pair!

Kind of blah, but comfy -
A nice boring shoe, overall. Runs a bit narrow and small so you may want to order the next size up. The square toe didn't wow me and the color is fine, but the shoe didn't grab me, even though it's very comfortable. I'm sending it back.

The other reviews are correct; this shoe runs narrow. I have a narrow foot with an even narrower heel. I ordered a medium width and it felt just right. The medium is so narrow it even holds in my extra narrow heel! So this is a good shoe for those of us with this type of foot.

Well constructive and attractive, the problem is getting the right fit. As other reviewers have noted, they run smaller than marked. I had to re-order one size larger. They also squeak a bit (maybe this will improve over time). Good for narrow heels (don’t slip).

1/2 size makes a big difference -
I had previously purchased these shoes in a half size large, they were a little too large, I then purchased them again (after having worn out the first pair I loved them so much). The half size felt so much smaller and a little tight. But I still love the shoes.

I love the look of the shoe, especially the heel, but it wasn't very comfortable. I've bought many Clarks and enjoy them. The mules are the most comfortable. The arch is much better.

I Love Clarks -
This shoe will not work if you have a wide foot. I have a narrow-medium foot and it is a little tight... not so much that it is uncomfortable. The more I wear seems to stretch some. Great basic shoe… if you can wear it.

Love this shoe! I have narrow feet and have a hard time finding shoes with narrow enough heels, so that I can keep the shoes on! So I look for shoes with upper support. These give me some stability when walking, but still look stylish with my slacks. Normally, Clarks are not narrow enough and nearly bypassed ordering them. I am glad I tried this style anyway.

I like the feel of the sole of these shoes. I'm disappointed in the fit of the shoe. I have narrow feet and the shoes still pinch my feet. I thought they would soften up with wear, but that hasn't been the case.

This is my second review of this shoe. At first, I thought they would work, but after wearing these shoes for a couple weeks, I realize that I should have returned them. Usually, Clark's fit me immediately, and these were snug. But like other Clark's, they don't stretch out (which is one reason I love Clark's - they last!). After trying hard, I find these shoes to be just plain too tight and uncomfortable. I own many Clark's (call me Emelda, if you must) and this is one of the first pairs that I find uncomfortable. They look great; however, I wish Clark's made more shoes with this style of heel instead of the clog look heel. I may end up passing these on to my smaller footed friend if they don't start to ease up soon.

One year later -
I have been wearing my Sweetclovers for about a year now and am very happy with them (actually thinking about buying a second pair). It took a couple of tries to find the right size for my wide feet, but once I did, they were great. They look sharp with jeans or khakis and are very comfortable to walk in.

Clark's with a little style -
I am a Clark's fan; nearly all my (many) shoes are Clark's. I am particularly fond of slip on shoes, and wear mostly the clog-type Clark's for casual wear. I was looking for something with a closed back; however, for the cold winter months here in Los Angeles; when the temperature plummets below 60 degrees my feet get cold in clogs! So I wanted a comfortable but a bit more stylish and closed back shoe for jeans. These shoes are perfect for this; the low heel has a boot-look, the shoes are great for jeans, but I can also wear them with somewhat dressier pants. I like the low heel; I am on the tall side, so I don't need a big heel, and they are comfortable. When I first put them on they felt a bit narrow/snug, but after wearing for a brief time they felt fine. I have learned that I always take a 1/2 size larger in Clark's than most other shoes, so I order accordingly.

Looks OK, feels great -
I recently bought this shoe and was able to wear it all day the first day with no problems. It is very plain looking, so don't depend on it to snazz up your look. However, I like the shoe and would buy it again.

Love clarks but this didn't work for me -
I have rather wide feet and took a chance on these as sometimes I can sneak into a medium. They did not work for me. Gotta love Zappos though, they make shoe shopping easy.

7W is my perfect size. I tried these in 7W and though the footbed felt divinely comfortable, the heel was truly flopping off when I walked. So, I ordered the 6.5W but then the shoe was a tad short and the toe box too tight! That\'s it for me for Softspots. I've tried 2 different styles with the same results. Too bad because they have the most comfortable footbed I've ever tried on.

These are a very cute shoe, but terribly narrow. I don't have wide feet and have never had a problem with width on shoes but these are so narrow I'm not sure how a regular size foot could wear them

Looks nice but toe box style changes size -
This shoe looks nice - simple but still stylish. The heel fits great and the length is fine (I am always a 9M and that is what I had ordered) but the toe box is too tight. The tightness corresponds to the point in the shoe when the toe begins to turn up just slightly. My other Clarks have stretched with wear, but this is too tight for me to take the chance that they won't so I will return them.

Great casual shoe -
Took a risk and wore these for the first time on a week-long business trip (had them on for long flights + every evening, including walking around in the city), they performed great. A TINY bit of rubbing at the heel when they were new, but not enough to regret having brought them with me versus another pair of shoes.

Perfect.
I ordered these shoes not knowing what to expect, but after wearing them for a day, I can only say good things about them. For me, they are incredibly comfortable and the leather has already molded to fit my foot. They are snug, but it feels good, not as though my circulation is being cut off. I also love the way they look, like a boot without having to wear a boot. I think I'm going to get another pair just to have when these wear out. As a side note, Zappos upgraded my shipping to overnight. I ordered them at 6pm and had them by 2pm the very next day. Thanks Zappos!

Not good.
These shoes are not comfortable. They are very tight; and I have a normal width foot. When I put them on my socks get pulled taught and then it feels like my toes can't move. Also around the ankle it is very hard and painful - I had to wear a couple of band aids to provide cushion. Also, they squeak on tile floors when you walk - not good when you're a teacher and the students are taking a test.

This shoe is too narrow and tight. Was really disappointed, sending them back. Could barely get them on my one foot, didn't even try the other foot. I bought the same size I always buy, and I own a lot of Clarks.

I usually get my orders the next day, and the longest it's taken has only been two days, and I think that's just awesome!
