Hard Leather!
This shoe looked clunky and the leather was too hard and too stiff. Very uncomfortable. Tried it on, took it off, and sent it back.

Not perfect -
I too am experiencing a problem with one of the shoes (the left) cutting into my foot at the point where the straps join the shoe. I too am waiting for it to stretch out. I think it's getting a little better. But it is not comfortable, and the first time I wore this shoe I had to put a band aid under it.

I was very pleased with this purchase. I have wide feet and have had some difficulty finding comfortable attractive shoes. This shoe filled the bill on both counts from the very first wearing.

Not wide enough -
I am sadly returning these shoes. I have wide feet and thought I could get by with a 1/2-size bigger but no. They are nice-looking shoes (though a little shiny), with decent support, I really wish they would have fit. They looked good with skirts and dresses, which is what I needed. Oh well, on to search the wide shoes...

Really cute -
I bought these shoes to go on a trip. They are much cuter in person than they look in a picture. I have been wearing them in short spurts so that they will be fine for all day walking. So far they are really comfortable.

Really nice comfortable shoe -
I am on my feel all day and wish I could wear heels. These shoes are very pretty, but still super comfy! My problem with these shoes is that I ordered a wide shoe (usually need wide) and after wearing them once, they were too big and fell off my feet. I wish I'd ordered a medium width - I expect I would have loved them 100% then. My mistake.

Great shoe overall!!!
This is a great looking shoe for work or otherwise. It takes time to break it in - the leather is somewhat stiff, but otherwise it has great arch support and can be worn all day.

Look cute . . . . but -
These did not fit right, they look really cute, but the heel is really stiff and cut into the back of my foot, it took awhile to get them broken in. Most of the shoes I buy fit right from the start and there is no "break in" period.

Delighted to find an updated style in an attractive, understated design - a comfortable shoe that goes anywhere. Clarks always fit my feet, hold up well, and never disappoint me.

Small toe area -
This shoe is cute and relatively comfortable. However, if you have toe problems (ingrown toenails, etc) do not purchase this shoe, even the wide version. The toe area is very small and does brush the toenails (at least it did for me).

Shoes stretch -
The first few days of wearing these shoes, it was wonderful. They were very comfortable for my 12 hour days. However, by the second week of wearing the shoes, they had stretched. Now they "flop" like a pair of sandals and I often walk out of the shoes.

Great dress shoes for work -
This shoe is as comfortable as they come for a work heel. They're easy to slip on and off at the airport and the rubber sole keeps them quiet. They're matte so they travel well without scuffing. These are my second choice on any given day, right after their 1 inch heel equivalent that is slightly easier on my feet. Goes great with everything and holds its shape without pinching. Great buy for me and my 10XW feet.

Very cute, needs taming, but worth the effort -
I like this shoe very much, but as others point out, there is a painful bit on the side of the shoe where the flexible inner strap attaches that rubs. I like the shoe so much I am willing to work to break it in, and now, after several wearings, I don't need a band aid under the attachment site. I am particularly pleased that the sole is thick enough to prevent pain when stepping on rocks or cobblestones - this is a real value to me. I often have problems with heels slipping off, and the right shoe (the same one with the problem spot) occasionally slips. My usual size is 11, but sometimes I need an 11 1/2; this 11 fits well.

I love this shoe!
I was looking for a nice, stylish pump-like shoe that didn't look "old lady-ish", that I could wear if I had to be on my feet a fair amount. I loved the front detailing and the heel and ordered a pair in black. I LOVE THIS SHOE! It's pretty comfortable, stylish and classic, but with a slight "edge". I always get compliments on it too. I'm looking for an excuse to order another pair.

Bought a pair of Clarks flats and loved them so tried this pair of pumps in navy. The color is good. And I can stand and walk in these all day. I have wide and flat feet. These give me good support and feel great.

Adorable!
The size of this shoe front to back fit fine, but it is a little narrow. Some of the stitching rubs my foot a little. Definitely wear socks til they're broken in! But they are very adorable and very comfortable. I can wear them all day. They transfer from day to night very easily.

Amazing shoe!
I love these shoes. I'm on my feet over eight hours each day and I can always count on comfort when I wear this pair of shoes. A bit pricey for Clarks, but it's worth the comfort.

This is a great looking shoe with either pants or skirts. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't just a tiny bit uncomfortable along the seams around the toe box. Even so, it doesn't start being uncomfortable until the end of the day. I'm hoping that after wearing a few times, they will stretch out a little. Still one of my favorite shoes. The brown is a nice color. I'll probably end up getting them in black as well.
