I love the spring in my step with this shoe. The heel height is perfect for me too. I have a wide foot with a high instep and it surprised me to feel comfortable all day at work. I can wear these with slacks or skirts!

This is the second pair of Clarks Metti shoes that I have purchased. I previously purchased them in black and have now bought a second pair in brown. I have wide feet and I found these shoes to be so comfortable all day. They are true to size and width and the toe box is wide enough so that the sides of your toes do not press against the sides of the shoes. They are stylish enough to wear with dress or casual clothes. It's so nice to find a shoes that has it all. Thank you Clarks and Zappos for selling such comfortable and stylish shoes for those of us who have wide feet.

I received these gorgeous shoes today, and they fit like a glove. They are true to size and feel like you're walking on air. I only wish they carried them in more colors because I would buy them all!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty decent shoe -
I wear a medium width and had to order the wide for this shoe. The toe box was a bit tight, but in reading other reviews, they stated the shoe would stretch. After wearing them for one day, I believe this will happen. The soft sole is a pleasure to walk on all day; very comfortable.

I found this shoe to be a bit narrower in the toe area than what I usually get, and had to go to a wider width. The shoe looks great, and is overall very comfortable, although with the wider width, the heel area is a bit too wide.

Could wear these shoes the first day, all day, I do a lot of walking in my profession. They are also non slip.

Great shoe!
I took advice found here: Clarks run long, and my usual 12M (almost 11.5M) fit well in an 11W. PLENTY long, nice toe room. The heel is a bit loose but otherwise a good fit. Very cushy & comfortable, better for me with added arch support, and very cute with either pants or a skirt.

Comfy and attractive -
These shoes are great; they're a little less stylish than I thought they were going to be, which I attribute to the bit of rubber that protrudes around the front. But they're very comfortable and look nice even with skirts and pants, which is what I had hoped.

Looks good but doesn't feel good! I was looking for a brown dress shoe that was actually comfortable. This one was really cute, so I was excited – until I wore them for the first time. I didn't even wear them one hour before I had a blister where the strap meets the shoe. It might just need breaking in, but I don't really want to give it a second try.

Nice basic shoe, runs longer, and sometimes tight on top -
I ordered this shoe in 3 different colors. Besides the front tilting up, I found that 1 of the 3 pairs was too tight in the toe box squishing down on your top of the foot/toes. The length seems almost a 1/2 size too big, but then I have ordered on this brand 1/2 size smaller and they are too short. I found the Navy to be the tight fitting pair, black and brown were fine.

They were very comfortable. I had to put something in the shoe so my foot wouldn't slip out, but that's okay. Unfortunately, the shoe looked plastic. I couldn't get past the fact that when I looked down they looked like I bought them at a discount store. For the price, I was hoping it would look a little nicer. I ended up sending it back.

This is a wonderful dress shoe if you want a shoe with a not-too-high of a heel… though the thicker heel makes it look a little less dressy.

I love shoes and have purchased from different brands but I find Clarks to be the most comfortable shoes. I have bone spurs and it’s really very uncomfortable. The doctor recommended to wear running shoes at all times but I love dress shoes and I'm glad I finally found Clarks. I even ordered brown and will order another pair of black so that I will be able to have an extra pair. Of course, I'm sure to order other styles. As for service, Zappos is the best!

They are very comfortable, sturdy and nice looking. In truth, I am happier with these shoes than I have been with any others that I've purchased in the past couple of years. It doesn't hurt either that I've received many compliments on them!

Great shoe- stiff leather takes some breaking in -
I need to wear nice dress shoes daily in my office and I also have terrible feet-bunions. These shoes felt great immediately but I have to say that I did get a few blisters the first couple of wears from the stiff leather. Now that they are broken in, they feel great and I get a lot of compliments on them.

Unfortunately, I will be returning both pairs of shoes. The size 11 felt a full size larger than marked, and the 10W has too much gap on either side which takes away from the beauty of the shoe.

Great but...
These shoes fit extremely well with the exception of the toe box. It was tight, uncomfortably so, even though the width was perfect. The style was nice and would look great with slacks or even a mid-calf length skirt. I thought that I might be able to stretch out the shoes with wear but after walking through my apartment a few times I decided that they just weren't for me. I'll definitely try Clarks shoes again though, the quality was wonderful.

These are the greatest shoes!!!
My 1st experience with Zappos and I was TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY! Courteous, FAST (upgraded my shipping at no extra charge) and the shoes are heaven! I have narrow feet & a terrible back, so don't wear heels if I don't have to. At my new job I have to wear dresses or suits EVERY DAY and was struggling because all I owned were Dansko type shoes. These are PERFECT! They are flattering on my feet & were comfortable from the very start! I now have 3 pair (blue, brown & black) and feel like I can dress "like a girl" again instead of some old lady! Yeah for Metti's!!!

Grazes low ankles, but nice fit on narrow heel.
I usually wear an 8 and have narrow heels, low ankles, and high arches. The 8 fits in length and is snug on my narrow heels. It slightly grazes my low ankles and there is no arch support. There is no padding inside this shoe. The sole extends slightly out from the upper, giving it a more casual look. I agree with other reviewers that the little elastic detail would probably produce blisters. I ordered this along with the Softspots "Mischa" and the Old Maine Trotters "Gloria". It was my least preferred of the three.

Sturdy heel and lovely strap detail -
I love these shoes. They're stylish, the heel is solid, and they're comfortable. The front is a little narrow for my little toes, both of which have been broken & need extra room, but wearing band aids the first few times did the trick. They stretched.
