I have trouble buying shoes as I not only have a wide foot, but had foot surgery on one foot, and this foot is wider than the other. This is the third pair of Gloria Trotters I have bought due to comfort of the shoe.

I was looking for a casual shoe that would work with jeans or dress slacks and skirts, and Gloria almost works. I don't know if I would like them with a skirt. The shoes are a little more casual than I would prefer, but very comfortable, even though the heel feels higher than advertised.

I really loved the shoe, great fit at first, but after a few wears the shoe began to slip off my heels. I am going to reorder the shoe in a smaller size than what I wear, because I liked them so much.

I wear a 10 1/2 narrow, but the heel is not very narrow in these shoes so they slip slightly. Overall all, the rest of the shoe it great and I will keep them and get a pad for the heel. Ten and a half shoes are hard to find so was so happy to discover Zappos. Keep them coming!

Unbelievable!!!
I couldn't believe the FAST service. I live in Oklahoma City. I ordered these shoes Monday afternoon around 4:00 p.m. and received them at 3:45 p.m. today (Tuesday afternoon). I spent yesterday hunting for shoes with heels to wear with my longer jeans and could not find ONE pair to fit my 7-1/2, AA feet - no narrow sizes. These fit. In the past, I have found Trotters to be so comfortable. I just wish they would update more of their styles! Love them anyway!

Comfortable at first then they stretch -
These shoes felt great when I tried them on, and for the first few days I loved them. After wearing them to work for about a week, I found my feet were slipping out of them and they were hard to keep on my feet. They really stretched out. I've tried heel slip-stops etc but they are now just too big. Make sure you order a little snug!
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: I would still buy these only allow for a lot of stretching!

Great shoes!
Needed a nice pair of shoes to wear with pant suits for work and these are perfect. They are so comfortable and required no break-in period at all. I'll definitely try Trotter's again. And as for Zappos, I continue to be amazed by their excellent service!

I am low key and practical, but this looked a little tooo matronly -- I needed a shoe that could do multiple duty (look well with suits, dress up jeans, etc). Almost, but not quite. Too bad, because they were comfortable! (I wear W and the W fit perfect)

100% attractive, almost as comfortable -
This shoe is very attractive and professional looking, difficult to find for my wide foot, bunions and high instep. It looks great with nice slacks or skirts. By the end of the day my feet were a little sore, but not bad. I will keep these for dressy occasions, which is a compliment because I don't hesitate to return shoes that hurt.

Classic, timeless, comfortable, great for low ankles.
I usually wear an 8 and have narrow heels, low ankles, and high arches. The 8 fits my feet well and is comfortable right out of the box. It does not graze my low ankles and has a little bit of arch support. It only slips at the heel slightly on the right foot. It is a very well-made shoe; the leather and stitching are perfect. It has a very thin padding inside. Though I find the style a little boring, on the other hand, these shoes will go with almost anything and will stay "in style" forever - a good investment for someone more concerned with quality and value than making a fashion statement.

As others have said, this shoe is far more old-lady in real life than it looks in the photo. It is reasonably comfortable. I kept it because it's "good enough" but I wouldn't say it's my new favorite.

This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Living in NYC and walking everywhere if your shoe isn't comfortable it can ruin your entire day. This shoe is now a staple in my Top Five. Please don't discontinue this shoe!

I am a flight attendant and bought these to wear with my uniform. The first time I wore them, I was on duty for 12 hours. They look great and needed zero break-in time. If you're looking for a very simple, tailored style that's easy on the feet, these will fill the bill.

The perfect casual pump!
I could not be more pleased with this shoe. It is truly comfortable without having that "comfortable shoe" look. The only small issue is the heel is a little wide for me.

Instant Comfort - Great shoe!!
These shoes were instantly comfortable. No break-in needed. I have a lot of foot problems, prior surgery and now dealing with plantar fasciitis, so it is very difficult for me to find comfortable shoes, with the proper arch support, that don't look like older lady shoes (no disrespect intended). These fit the bill perfectly. They go well with skirts or pant suits. I wish it came in more colors, like bone. Will probably get the mocha (when it becomes available in my size). Also, the light cushioning is quite comfortable. As of these shoes, Trotters is officially the brand I'm sticking with. Thanks Trotters and Zappos!!

I have been wearing low or no heels for the past 10 years because I am on my feet virtually all day. But I missed having a dressier shoe to wear with dressier pants. When I saw this shoe, I thought I'd give it a try. It is great! Fits my wide foot well and gives me good support at the same time. My feet were not tired at the end of the day, but I still give my feet a rest and alternate this shoe with lower heels.

Ordered the wide width as my feet are slightly wide and it was way too wide for me. Reordered in medium width and the width was fine, but have decided to return. Shoe is okay; a little on the matronly side. I was looking for a navy shoe for dress slacks for work. They would be just okay except the blue is not a very dark blue and all my navy slacks/suits are darker. So I'm sending back because of the color.

I only go elsewhere if you don't happen to have a particular style, which doesn't happen often! Now that you sell all white New Balance sneakers (and I love how well that brand fits and holds up), I know where I'm going to get all of my daughter's school shoes! You already had the Sperry dusty bucks (another great brand), but with Zappos selling both of her uniform shoes, we're set with Zappos. And you almost always have the sizes in stock, so I can buy the next two sizes for her, since her feet seem to grow so fast! Therefore I always have the next size ready for her.
