This shoe is very comfortable, accepts an orthotic and is extremely lightweight, which is great for someone that has difficulty walking distances.

Salomon makes a good shoe -
This shoe takes about 2 days to break in, but like previous Salomon shoes I have purchased once broken in the shoe is very comfortable and equally breathable. The rubber on this shoe does not extend over the toe which is worrisome considering the prior pair did and lasted forever. The lace solution is simple and the laces are sturdy. Not a cold weather shoe! However, if you are looking for a casual everyday shoe and can get away with it in the office then this is your bet. Although I'm sure it will perform like a champ on a warm summer day somewhere by a creek. Hope this helps.

This is my first pair of Salomon's footwear other than ski boots - a perfect fit. My foot is a bit narrow. First time worn for over six hours and was on my feet rather than sitting the total time. Following day I wore them over six hours. No discomfort either day. This shoe needed no break-in and gave good support. Workmanship of shoe is excellent. Good with shorts, jeans and casual pants. The Zappos’ service is wonderful. I ordered the shoes on a Sunday early PM and received my order the following day. Extremely pleased with this shoe and Zappos' selection options and service.

Great outdoor and everyday shoe -
This is my third pair of Salomon's and the Elios has the best fit to date. This shoe looks a little dressier than your average hiking shoe, which makes it a great everyday casual shoe for work. Zappos has the best selection and their customer service is the best!

Another great product!
First of all, Zappos amazed me with their customer service! I had my new kicks on my porch within 24 hours of ordering. I have always loved Salomon footwear and will continue to do so. It took me about a half of a day to get them broken in and feeling like slippers. Great support and comfort! I can't wait to get them in the snow.

However, with two kids and an extremely hectic work schedule I was not able to do that and needed to buy shoes for my kid’s tennis lessons. I was very hesitant to order shoes online only because I needed them almost immediately. However, I did order them from Zappos and imagine my surprise when it was delivered the next day at no extra charge – free shipping. I have one very happy kid and an extremely happy mother.
