This shoe is only uncomfortable at first. The leather softens up after two wearings. I love this shoe and get compliments on it all the time.

A Winner - I bought a white pair for work and khaki for general wear. Very comfortable and not as "hot" as most athletic type shoes. No break in needed. This is my fifth pair of Earth shoes. I'm hooked.

Wow...I'll tell you what...WOW!!! I have the Earth walking shoe and I love the negative heel technology. When I saw a picture of these, it seemed that they did not have the same technology. But when I got them, wow! They did. They are so comfortable. I have pain on the ball of my foot and it completely disappears when I wear these. I got the brown ones. They're beautiful. They're lighter than they appear on Zappos (which I like). I highly, highly, highly recommend these shoes. They are darling!

I wear a 7.5 in Earth sandals and needed an 8 in this shoe, probably to accommodate socks. I have medium width at the ball of my foot, very narrow heels, and very low volume feet. This shoe fits great. Very soft uppers. I like that it is cut away around the ankle bone, so it doesn't bang up against it, as almost every other shoe of this type does on my feet. I have plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuroma and these are great. They give great arch support and allow my toes to spread out as I walk, which relieves the neuroma pain and allows it to heal. While many people recommend metatarsal supports for neuromas, this Earth technology is so supportive I don't need them at all. Keep it up, Earth!

Cute and Comfortable -
I wear these shoes to walk my dogs 4-5 miles every day. My feet feel fabulous in them. They look cute as well -- the toe is more tapered than some of the earth casual styles. Earth shoes are the best!

When I went to order these shoes, they were out of my size, but they would email me as soon as they came in. I looked at different sites. I found them, but I felt uncomfortable getting them elsewhere. I have used Zappos for all my shoes and purses. I waited to get the email. In a couple days I got it. I ordered these shoes on Saturday got them on Monday. I put them on ASAP. They are GREAT!!! So comfortable. I can wear these even on hot days and they are cool cuz of the mesh. They are so light and airy. Glad I waited. Thank You Earth Shoes. Zappos you are the BEST!!!

Absolutely thrilled.
My third pair of Earth shoes. I've got wide feet and a bunion to boot, so I was a bit nervous about comfort. I listed "felt wider than marked" because they're listed as "B-medium width" and they are comfortably wide for my feet. For me, these shoes are comfortable out of the box. No problem with pinching, rubbing, or cramped toes. I already have the Earth Compass shoe and the Earth Sunset sandal, and I'm thrilled with all 3 styles. With Earth's great shoes and Zappos great service, I'm hooked!

Looking Good In Something Good!
I hesitated buying the Earth Premier because of its price, but I went ahead and ordered it anyway. I was interested in the negative heel and I thought that the shoe was pretty neat looking. Also, I wanted something a little different than the regular old looking sneaker. The negative heel is good. The inner sole is bumpy and rough on my bare feet making the bottom of my feet sore, so I cut fleece the shape and size of the inner sole and glued it to the inner sole. NOW, they are so comfortable! I like them a lot. They are very well made and I am sure that I will get my moneys worth out of them. This is a fun shoe to wear.

Cute sneaker that is comfortable for long walks or light gym workouts. Hip style works with outfits as a Converse would.

I love these sneaks! My friend says if Converse and Skechers were to have a baby, this is what it would look like. They are so comfortable and go with everything. They are light as air. I never thought a sneaker could be this light.

The sneaker fits & looks well on. The heel is very low, seemingly lower than the metatarsal & toes. If you haven't worn very flat shoes in a while you will probably be uncomfortable.

It's just the look...
I deliberated over these. Wow, are they comfortable right out of the box. I have Earth sandals, so the technology is easy to adjust to, and very good for the foot. Too bad, though, I just can't take the wide foot look. I am a normal width and, if anything, bordering wide, but these make my feet look so frumpy, that the comfort issue doesn't make me want to keep them. There are cute additions, like shiny pieces to make them "fashion sneakers," however to me it simply doesn't work on these. I love my Merrell Siren Sports, and they are as comfortable and cuter, just not the negative heel technology.

Uncomfortable Tongue -
Despite being uglier than pictured, the shoe was definitely roomy with a very comfortable bed. Could have been the shoe I was looking for chasing after active children and errands, day in and out if it were not for the extremely uncomfortable convexed tongue. Tried different socks to improve the feel of the tongue jamming into the top of my foot, tried loosening the laces, but that only added to a too loose shoe. I was very willing to live with the not so good look of the shoe if it were not for the too stiff tongue. For my foot, this shoe was not a fit.

Earth Premier -
I have been looking for a sneaker type shoe that fit well and I have found it in the Premier. I'm 82 & still do all my house & yard work. I have a problem with balance, have fallen 2 times in yard; I can walk & stand so much better in the Premier than any of my other Earth shoes or sandals. And they are very comfortable. Also I have Plantar Fasciitis in left foot, but NO PAIN with the Permier. I love this shoe & would recommend it. It is for sure not a DRESS shoe, but cuite & stable. I got the tan & the color goes with every thing. I would like to buy the white, too. I have the Earth Hippie, but I like the Premier better. I wear 7.5 & that is what I ordered & it fits well; with or with-out socks.

Nothing but comfort and style!
I wear these shoes to work in and also to play in. In my line of work, I am on my feet all day and must have comfortable shoes. I own many Earth shoes and always have because I love them, but, I must say, these are, by far, the most comfortable of all. I want to wear them all the time and I think I might even by another exact pair, just so that I have them. I haven't fallen like this in a long time...trust me!

Love these shoes!
So first off, I have to say that these are actually cuter than I expected them to be. Other than their sandals, I generally don't find Earth brand shoes to be terribly attractive. That these are as cute as other "fashion" sneakers is a bonus. That said, I didn't buy them for their looks. I wanted a good, basic every day sneaker that was comfortable and supportive. I love the way Earth shoes IMMEDIATELY shifts my posture into what feels like better alignment. My husband even says that I appear to stand straighter and taller. Earth shoes really do help hips and knees feel better. One caveat though: these shoes run a half size to a full size larger than marked. I have the Earth Cabo flip flops in a size 8, and when I line up them up with the Earth Premier in a size 7, the 7s are LONGER than the 8s. I wish Earth were a bit more consistent with their sizing. Then I wouldn't have to buy two or three sizes to get it right. At least there are no worries with Zappos returns!

This little shoe is absolutely glorious in how it feels. It hugs the foot in comfort and makes walking a smiley thing. I also love it because while I have been an athletic shoe wearer for years and years, it just feels so nice to wear a little athletic shoe that doesn't look like you have boats on your feet for a change. The comfort level of these shoes will make you amazed, and like me ready to pitch out all other shoes.

Great Shoe for Comfort and Style -
I really love this shoe, very comfortable and stylish. Fit is true. If I had to make one tiny improvement and this is true for all the Earth shoes I have, I would allow a little more wiggle room in the toes (that's top to bottom). I would highly recommend this shoe.

Earth's Premier -
I purchased these shoes because of the negative heel aspect. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and read other reviews claiming "Earth" shoes were the best shoe to wear if you have this problem. I really like this shoe, it is very comfortable, can be worn right our of the box, no break in period. I have short, wide feet and they fit perfectly, the size is right on. I am on a waiting list to purchase another pair in a different color as it is the best and most comfortable shoe I've tried so far. Thank you Zappos for your superior service. Just wish your waiting lists were not so long!!
