There isn't much arch support on these shoes. I have other pairs of earth shoes and don't feel these are a good example of your negative balance feature.

Heel killer -
A painful combination of negative heel and resulting increase in height of the back of the shoe makes for a very painful heel (Achilles area). Can't get the back of the shoe broken in and it tears up the back of my heel each time I wear it.

A Stunner -
Great looker... have a bunion so had to break it in a bit...but love the shoe. My first pair of earth shoes and I will buy more.
Thank you Zappos for making it so easy to try different brands without the added cost of returning just in case they didn't work out.

I love my earth shoe...it takes me back to the 70s when I had my first pair. But these new shoes are stylish. It is amazingly comfortable and cute as can be. I would recommend it to everyone!

Heaven on Earth!
At long last! A cute and VERY comfortable shoe that even people with bunions can wear! Well worth the cost - I will definitely be trying more Earth shoes. It does take an hour or so to get used to the negative heel design, and the back of the shoe caused discomfort the first full day of wear. I highly recommend gel or moleskin pads for the back of the heels to make these shoes "perfect" (or wear band aids). Don't let the stiff heel keep you from trying these - they are worth the break-in period. Love them!

Received these yesterday...too cute, but ran large. I wear a size 9 and ordered a 9 but too big. I am returning for an 81/2.

Earth Stunning!
These shoes run 1/2 size large. I ordered them in red 8 1/2 and they were too big so I ordered an 8. The right felt too snug. So I tried ordering them in black, hoping they would work. The right foot still feels snug but I really want to make these adorable shoes work! I think I'll keep them in hopes of a little stretch happens over time. The leather is really soft and these look darling. Wish me luck!

This shoe is really cute and very comfortable except for the back of the shoe: the leather comes up too high on the back of my ankle. I've been wearing bandaids hoping I'll be able to break in the shoes soon. The shoes are at least 1/2 size larger than marked. I bought a pair in both black and brown. The black leather seems stiffer than the brown leather. I'm hoping the heel problem will resolve itself soon because I think these shoes are really cute.

Good, not great -
These shoes are cute for Earth shoes, but not as comfortable as I hoped they would be. I've been wearing them around the house for a couple of hours at a time to break them in, but they caused some blisters and pain. I'm hoping that they will eventually be broken in enough to wear all day long.

I've searched high and low...
We are going to Paris next week and I am a total. shoe. snob. I hate anything clunky, but also have a very high arch which inevitably leads to crippling pain when I spend the day walking. I've tried many, many shoes in preparation for this trip, including Dansko (not my style), other Earth shoes (clunky and also not my style), Privos (not as cute as I hoped). I couldn't find anything - and finally - these babies came along. They are adorable, I have them in the red color and they almost look sexy with the right pair of pants. People thought they are wedges. Although I can't wear them with a skirt and they give me blisters (need to break them in), if you are a shoe snob looking for "walking shoes" that don't make your shoe snob soul die every time you wear them, these are the shoes for you. Definitely worth the investment - and of course, amazing service from Zappos.

I wear a 7.5 or 8 in most styles, and the 7.5 fit well. The back at the ankle seems fine, although I haven't worn them all day yet. It’s high but comfortable.

Earth Stunning is VERY “stunning”!!!
I LOVE this shoe! It is extremely comfortable. I wore them for the very first time to a birthday party and was actually able to dance, and dance, and dance (I LOVE to dance) without having to rest my feet. I am a die hard Earth shoe fan and own many pairs of them. Earth shoes are the only shoes that I can wear at this point in my life. I am a 62 yr. old former athlete and have chronic lower back pain, 2 bum knees (I will need TKR on both of them eventually), hallux rigidus in both great toes (I've had surgery on both of them), and HAD chronic plantar fasciitis before wearing Earth shoes exclusively. The Earth shoe is a "saviour" for my feet and body. I strongly recommend this "Stunning" shoe for a semi-dressy look for anyone, like me, who can't wear a shoe with a heel. Finally, Zappos is the very BEST online business I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. They are COURTEOUS, PROMPT, and EFFICIENT. Kudos to Zappos! I love ALL of you!!!

This shoe is very cute and stylish! The back of the shoe is about 1/4 " higher than I am accustomed to. Once I break them in I think they will be fabulous! I was impressed by the customer service. I ordered my shoes in the evening and by the next morning I received my shoes! I had expected to wait 4 or 5 days.

Cute shoe, but OUCH!
I love the look of this shoe, but it didn't fit my foot properly at all, so reluctantly, I had to return them. I was so disappointed because I think they're a darling slip-on for summer, but the shoe was oddly shaped for my foot and was SO uncomfortable to walk in, even for a few seconds. I even ordered a 2nd pair, hoping the first was a fluke, but alas, neither worked. My foot is somewhat wide, maybe that had something to do with it. I've had other Earth styles and they've been some of the most comfortable shoes I own. I guess I'll try a different style.

Ordered these shoes yesterday and got them today! I have been looking for a sandal like these since another name brand quit making a similar pair. I love these shoes! Right out of the box they are already comfortable. I want another pair but they are now out of my size. Please make more of these shoes! I love them. They go with everything.

I am going to try these with a thin gel cushion for heel spurs and see if the outside of the heel area is too high to wear or not. It is not as high as a couple of others I tried and it is by far the best looking for warmer weather. I just wish Earth made a proper narrow and an 11.5. I ordered two colors but I am afraid to keep both of them for the expense.

 |  | My first time ordering from Zappos was a breeze. I am a regular internet shopper, so the ordering process was easy. What really impressed me though, was the service. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes on an evening after I got home from work, and the very next day when I got home the shoes were already there. I was totally shocked. I live in Alabama and I knew there was not a Zappos warehouse in the area. But the shoes were there and they looked and fit perfectly. I am a tall woman with large feet, so it’s normally hard to find shoes to fit me. I was so pleased with the shoes and the service that I started looking for more shoes the same day. I know I will be shopping with Zappos very often in the future. Keep up the good work guys.
