I was afraid that Zappos might run out of my size, so I quick bought a second pair of Arche Fiona. I love this shoe! It's comfortable and flattering. I only wish for more colors...
I would recommend that half-sizes go down to full size, i.e., 7-1/2 go to 7.

A very elegant shoe. In my usual size 9/40 my heels keep slipping out of the shoe when I walk. The size 8/39 is fine in the heel but a little snug in the toes. I may keep them anyway; they're that gorgeous. I've had Arches in the past and they last forever. One question: does anyone know what the heck "milk-fed" halvea rubber is? Was some kind of baby animal killed for these soles?

Very uncomfortable -
Larger than my "true size". The high back rubbed the back of my ankle. I should have sent them back, but unfortunately I'm stuck with them. I will be putting this shoe in the recycle bin. As much as I love Arche Madras, I dislike this particular last.

Wonderful shoe. I've been looking for the perfect wedge for traveling and walking...not too juvenile looking, not geriatric or orthopedic, not athletic or campy, a bit of a heel and just to top it off I wanted it to go with black and brown. Fiona in carbone is it. The color looks cocoa with brown and looks charcoal with black. To top it off this sophisticated shoe is also comfortable. Oh, joy!

As comfortable as they are stylish.
It's hard to imagine a shoe that LOOKS so good can also FEEL so good, but these do. I have chronic knee problems, so I have to be really careful about the shoes I wear; often if they are "knee friendly", they are not particularly attractive. I can wear these shoes casually to work and then out to dinner and my knee is very happy! I wish they came in every color.

This is a gorgeous, oh so Parisian, shoe. Comfortable and flattering. The picture does not do it justice. I wear 7.5 and first ordered the 8 as they come only in whole sizes. The 8 was too big, so returned for a 7 and it's perfect. Love, love, love these shoes... and love Zappos. I ordered first pair - came the next day. Called Zappos about an exchange of size and they immediately sent the smaller size - got them the day after. The best customer service.

Great shoes -
I bought these shoes because I thought they appeared stylish and comfortable. I was not disappointed. After walking around in these shoes for a couple of days, I didn't have any problems with my back, knees or my feet. These shoes are great to wear and they look good with my outfits!
