I'm absolutely in love with these boots! I didn't think they would be my style, but they look great with everything: skirts, jeans, etc. I thought all the reviewers were exaggerating about how comfortable they are, but that was no exaggeration. These are the most comfortable shoes I own in addition to a pair of Asics sneakers. Just got a compliment on these yesterday at Starbucks. They are completely worth the money.

I\'ve been wanting a pair of Lucchese boots for some time now, and I chose these for both the color and simplicity of style. The color itself is a beautiful brown color, more of a chestnut than a mahogany, if you\'re looking for a comparison. I get compliments on these boots from everyone, as well as jealousy when they feel the suppleness of the leather and hear me talk about how outright comfortable they are.\r\n\r\nWhen I bought these boots, my husband swore I would never wear them more than once, but since I was buying them with my half of some money we\'d won in Vegas, there wasn\'t much he could say. 6 weeks later, he\'s admitted he\'s wrong. I wear these boots everywhere!\r\n\r\nI\'m a frequent traveler, and I wear them for both everyday wear and travel. I\'ve worn them through airports, on the plane, on long roadtrips (where I was driving), shopping, walking through muddy fields and a variety of other activities in both dry weather and wet, for both nice activities and everyday activities. The boots have kept my feet stylish and warm, while being extremely comfortable through hours of wear. \r\n\r\nFor sizing, I generally (almost always) wear an 8, though I can sometimes fit into a 7 1/2. I ordered an 8 in this boot and it was absolutely perfect. When you first put them on, they should feel slightly snug around your foot, with slippage in the heel. As you break them in, they mold to your foot and loosen enough for comfort, but not so much that they\'re too big. The slippage in the heel is essential because that\'s part of what makes boots comfortable. If they\'re not slipping on your heel, but are so snug in that area that they\'re almost "stuck" then you\'re never going to be comfortable in them and will probably experience blisters. \r\n\r\nI can\'t rate this boot high enough or tell you how much I love it, except to say I asked for a black pair of Lucchese boots for Christmas!

These boots lived up to everyone's hype. I don't think I have ever spent this much on a pair of shoes, but they were worth it. I ordered them because I was going to a cattle ranch and needed boots for riding, but I didn't have any time or place to break them in ahead of time. I was really swayed by the comments about how they did not need breaking in. Well, these boots are great. They were comfortable from the first time I put them on, I wore them all day for 7 days and never got a blister or had any discomfort. My only observation is that the toe is a little more pointed than I would like. After additional research, I discovered that there are different toe styles, sketchs available on the lucchese website, and I could have avoided this issue altogether.

I love these! I've had other cowboy boots but nothing comes close to the style and comfort of these Lucchese boots. They were true to size and the leather felt like butter. There is no breaking in required!

Those shoes are comfortable like a glove. I had to exchange them once for a 1/2 size smaller and they do indeed mold around your foot after you wear them a while. I get constant comments on how good they look. I find them much more comfortable than Tony Llama, even if they have to break in a bit.

This is my third Lucchese 1883 boot in as many days. I am hooked on Lucchese boots! The Tan Burnished Ranch Hand (N4604) is a beauty! The leather is truly like butter. It is even softer than the Mad Dog Goatskin leather which is hard to believe. The color is a beautiful dark tan (more towards the brown side) and is in between the Mad Dog Goatskin Brown (N4554) and Mad Dog Goatskin Tan (N4540) that I now have. All of the boots have a great kick butt sexy look. Best in quality, fit, comfort and style! I didn't want a black boot, but am now deciding on whether to get the Ranch Hand black or Mad Dog Goatskin Black. I can't lose with either. These boots are amazing. To top that off, Zappos' service has been the best!

I bought these boots a year ago having always wanted a pair but struggled to find just what I wanted. They are great! I have wide feet and at first thought they may be too snug, especially from the look, but they fit very well, I can wear them all day with no discomfort at all. And I love the way they look, and I receive many compliments.

Another great pair of Lucchese's -
The second pair of Lucchese boots that I have bought in as many months. Comfortable and beautiful. They do run at least 1/2 size larger than my regular shoe size (I figured this out on the first pair!). My narrow, flat feet have been so happy walking all over town. Now I need to figure out which pair of Lucchese's I will be saving up to buy next.

What a great shopping experience! This was my first time with Zappos and it won't be the last. I saw cowboy boots in a Western store, tried a few on then figured I'd see what’s online. This brand is just what I wanted. Compliments all around. They shipped to my office and co-workers oohed and ahh'd over these boots. A great feel and look. Real nice leather and a good fit. Can wear these boots more than 8 hours. I wear jeans more often just to wear the boots. Guys think they're very good looking, too! Way cool.

Great cowboy boots!
I was hesitant to purchase cowboy boots online because the fit is hard to get right, but based on the 100% positive reviews and Zappos' great return policy, I got them anyway. I had very high expectations after reading the reviews (and for a pair of boots that cost this much!). I bought the Lucchese brand because they come in a C width (most cowboy boots come only in a B width and it is too narrow for my foot, even though I wear a B width in all other type of shoes) and was not disappointed. The leather is soft and beautiful and the color (Tan Ranch) is great - just the brown I was looking for that looks worn in right away. Love them!

Love these boots!!! I can't stop wearing them... they are SO comfortable! I normally wear a size 7, but went down a 1/2 and they fit great... the color and stitching are stunning and the toe shape is perfect... I have been looking for a couple of years for a perfect brown cowboy boot and I finally found them. Every time I wear them, people love them and so do I!!!

Great Boots!
You might as well spring the money for these boots, they are worth it! They are soft, great looking, really classy, and very comfortable. No break-in necessary. I went out dancing the evening I got them and never had a problem!

My Favorite Shoes!
I wanted these boots for 3 years and finally shelled out the money. What I got was well worth the money. I had one of the. I had on one of the prettiest pair of boots on we saw at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (that's saying somthing!). And I walked more than four miles that day and my feet did't hurt at all! I love them!

Worth the $$$
I have never spent this much on a pair of shoes so I wasn't sure how I'd feel about buying these. I read about Lucchese boots in Nina Garcia's book "The One Hundred" and since I needed a pair of cowboy boots to wear to the Western-themed fundraiser I was planning, I thought what the heck. I am so, so happy I decided to purchase these. They are extremely comfortable and feel like you are wearing tennis shoes, without the sporty look that comes with it. I highly recommend these boots!

Outstanding boots -
When I opened the box, I saw one pair of beautiful boots, very soft too! At first I thought, oh my they look narrow but after putting them on, they fit like a very comfortable leather glove! The right is a little tighter and the heel slip is there but after wearing them for a little while that all went away! I have worn a 9B for over 25 years and these fit well!

Opened up the box and have worn them almost continually the past couple days...I have Achilles tendonitis and the support feels great. Love the look of the shoe, got them in lichen. Wasn't sure about the little floral detail but I have gotten good comments about how cute the shoe is.

Love my boots -
I purchased these boots after reading many reviews about the lucchese brand. Each review was overwhelmingly positive and the reviews for this boot were also great. My regular size is 8 medium, but the several reviews suggested ordering a size smaller. Unfortunately, the only size in stock was a 7 1/2 wide. Considering the great return policy at Zappos, I purchased them. I needed the boots for our annual trip to NYC at the holidays and Zappos upgraded my shipping to overnight for no additional charge. The boots fit great, they are entirely comfortable and gorgeous and Zappos has fantastic customer service. I’d definitely buy another pair of lucchese boots and will most certainly shop at Zappos again!

Beautiful Classic Boot -
Since I have wide and flat feet, I need to get my orthotic in there, so I ordered a half size larger and this came in wide. With orthotic over a Dr. Scholl's air sole, the fit was very good. And I can take them off easily.

Love these boots!
I absolutely love these boots! I have a hard time fitting shoes because I have wide feet and a very high arch. These boots provide excellent arch support. At first, the boots felt tight so I decided to use a shoe stretcher and a stretching liquid on them. After I walked in them, they felt perfect. These boots have become my walking shoes. I love the soft leather and they look great.
