I love these boots! They are very warm and stylish too - and very comfortable right from the beginning. They definitely do run large - not wide, but long.

Great Boots for Chilly Days -
I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear. I might have been able to go a full size down... but these are fine. The calves are tighter than I'd expected so I won't be tucking in any jeans, BUT the snug fit does help keep me warm. That said, I've worn them all day in the office twice and was thrilled that my feet were never too warm. The boots don't fit well under my snugger jeans and cords, but they are great with my wider leg pants and with skirts.

Comfy and Warm -
I bought them to wear to Chicago. They were awesome! I have since even snow-blowed the driveway in them and my feet stayed warm with thin socks! Stylish and functional!! They do stretch a little bit as you break them in.

Styling with Uggs -
The shoe was great. Only disappointment was that they do not have sheepskin lining on the inside soles like Uggs usually do. I plan on returning the boots. When you are accustomed to having that warm "cush" inside and don’t get it, the Uggs were just another expensive boot. I love Uggs. But I do like a fully sheepskin lined Ugg boot.

Beautiful looking boot, I got it for a friend for Christmas. Loved it but was disappointed that the calf is so narrow she could not fit it over pant leg. This person is very petite and slender and therefore I believe everyone else would have the same problem. I offered to return them, but she kept them. Now this beautiful boot will be hidden under the pant leg.

Too tight around the calf -
I am not a big woman. I'm 5'4 and 125 pounds, but I guess my calves are somewhat muscular. I ordered the size 7.5 and was unable to pull the zipper all the way up around my calves! The part of the boot around my foot fit fine, but the part around my legs was too tight to bear, and I had to return them. It's really unfortunate because this is one great looking pair of boots!

So worth it!
This is my first time posting a review, but use Zappos (love them) ALL the time... needless to say the boots are so gorgeous and help adding a stylish front to the cold Chicago weather- thanks for incredible service! I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for the boot that works in the cold and is fashionable!

Impressed and a Little Disappointed -
First of all, Zappos delivery can't be beat! I ordered the boots one day and they were here the next day, as promised - I was impressed and pleased. I am a first time Zappos buyer and will certainly purchase again from Zappos.
I am a little disappointed with these boots. They are great looking boots, certainly more attractive than the "ugly" ones. However, they are not as warm as I expected. The top of the foot area is not lined - that makes the difference (but the lack of bulk is what makes them more attractive). They would be great in warmer areas, but it gets pretty cold in Vermont. This tall version keeps my legs warm. The zipper on one of the boots sticks a little at the bottom, but so far, it's okay. I do wear these boots, but find that on the coldest days, they are no warmer than my Skechers that cost 1/3 of the price.
I added that this boot felt a half size larger than marked because it's a little roomy at the ankles, otherwise true to size. I wouldn't want a tight boot, with or without socks.

Caution--if you have a wide or muscular calf these boots will probably NOT fit you. I bought them for a friend for Christmas. She is a runner and could not zip them past the ankle. She was heartbroken because they ARE cute, warm and comfortable boots.

Great All-Round Boots -
I spent a few years researching boots - disregarding price, I was mostly concerned about comfort - look - quality. These are very comfy. I have muscular legs and wider calves, which makes it harder to find boots that are comfy and look good. I had read other reviews here, one in particular, that made me wary where a woman said her big calves looked bigger. This was not the case for me but I also might not be that self-conscious. These boots are flattering and the sheepskin lining is great and not too thick. I highly recommend.
Agree that they can't really be worn under pants (which wasn't really the look I was going for anyway) unless you wear wide leg.
Another reviewer had written that the leather looked poor quality - I didn't find this at all.

My Fav...
I love my Ugg Broome boots. You'll notice I say "boots". Yes, after receiving the brown suede I just HAD TO HAVE the black suede too. There is absolutely no break-in period. They were comfortable - like slippers - from the moment I put them on. They are running true to size. I wear an 8.5 and bought an 8.5. And BTW I have had many, many compliments on them from both men and women. The best look...tucked in to skinny jeans.

I love these boots!
These boots are wonderful. They are warm, they don't need to be broken in, and I would buy them again. The size was good, the boot was very comfortable the first day I tried them on. They have good traction in snow too. And are very warm in subzero weather.

My favorite boots!!
LOVE these boots! They look great with jeans tucked or untucked. I couldn't wait to see them! I had been searching everywhere trying to find these in a Black Suede. I've gotten TONS of compliments every day I've worn them out. GREAT boots! Very comfortable, great traction, and for me, they were true-to-size.

Ugly Ugg -
Sending these back. I am not happy with the look. They look so not feminine, its almost scary! They run a size bigger (which I read in previous reviews, but didn't believe it) and appear even bigger on the outside. Overall they look like men's boots in the army or policemen boots. They are probably warm and could be even comfortable, but for this money I expected to get looks too. After all thats why I got them in leather. Can't even imagine wearing them with a skirt. Ugly, rough boot, not worth it.

Bought this boot because it is a more stylish Ugg. My toes are always cold and I am willing to pay more to keep them warm. They are fine without socks on most days, but the colder ones, I wear some socks. The first pair I ordered I had to send back because they were half a size too big. The second pair I had to take in within a week to a shoe shop and have the sole glued on to the shoe at the toe, which was disappointing. All in all, I like the look, fit and warmth the boot offers and expect to wear them for years to come.

Great looking warm boots -
I bought these a few weeks ago and love them. They are particularly warm in covering your calves when you are wearing skirts, and they offer great walking support, I walk up to five miles a day in them. I bought them exactly in my size and they are great. However, I would buy a half size larger if I wanted to wear very thick socks with them.

Blisters on the ankle -
I searched all over for the Ugg Broome Espresso boot in the NY metro area. Unfortunately, they were sold out everywhere. Zappos was great! They were efficient on the phone and delivered the next day. I love my boots in every way, however, I received blisters on both outside ankles due to the interior stitching. I'll definitely continue to wear them, but I recommend wearing a heavier sock at first until they're broken in. Honestly, they're worth the blisters as I've received a ton of compliments!!!

Warm and comfy!!
I have to say, I've never spent this much on a pair of shoes/boots before, but these were exactly what I needed: warm and weather resistant yet stylish. They arrived yesterday and I'm so glad I took the plunge
At first I worried the lining would be too hot, but I have them on without socks and they are sooooo comfortable. No rubbing or anything, and the fit is perfect I'm a 7.5/8 and bought the 8. It's just right without socks, but I could also wear thin socks or tights.
Excellent quality and they are beautiful! I'll wear these every day, all winter! Totally worth the money in my opinion.

Perfect winter boot!
Every time I wear these tucked in to skinny jeans or longer skirts, I get tons of compliments. They’re warm and toasty and grip Montana snow/ice perfectly! A great winter boot without being bulky!
