I have the espresso suede boot. It's a gorgeous boot. I have two minor complaints: 1) the arch support isn't great (I have high arches and need really good support, so this likely affects me more than most people), 2) even with boot-cut jeans, the boots tend to get stuck on pants just a little. This may be in part because the suede grabs more than a smooth leather would. Even so, I'd buy these boots again in a heartbeat.

Most comfortable boots ever!
I have been wearing and loving these boots all winter. I ordered a half size up and put an insert in and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. I had a dual bunionectomy so am super-picky about comfort. I also live in freezing Michigan and they have kept me warm and stylish all winter.

Loved this boot, but...
I first ordered a 9 (my regular size) but they were too tight, especially the left boot where the ankle bone rubs... but 24 hours later I had a 9.5 and the fit was perfect and I was thrilled! This was the last pair of black suede in this size but alas, I had to send them back as they showed signs of wear. There was a stain on the leather inside the left boot where the ankle bone hits, and several small patches of suede were rubbed away on the outside.
Now I have to go to Chicago for a week with no boots to keep me warm and safe... a big thumbs down to the person who had them, wore them and returned them! That's really taking advantage of Zappos and their generous shipping policy... they did give me a credit when I reported this which I thought was very good of them...

I love these boots!
I loved these boots!! I got them in the black suede! I recommend them for anyone looking for a good black tall boot. I wear them over skinnies and have gotten so many compliments!

Glad I bought these -
I almost didn't buy these boots after reading several reviews either stating they weren't for a larger calf or that the fit wasn't right. Both were wrong for me personally. I don't have petite calves but I can still tuck my skinny jeans in them. The boots are very cute also under boot cut jeans. I wore them all day today and they were still comfortable by the end of the day. They're darling and I'm glad I got them!

Was hoping for a warm & sleek boot for our Maine winters. I was completely disappointed. There is a band of leather around the top part of the ankle. Why, I don't know. The zipper bunched up on the inside of the ankle and left a sore mark. The toe box is small and I found these to be of poor quality. ZAPPOS is great and I was able to return them with no problem. I AM STILL SEARCHING FOR A WARM BOOT WITH CLASS.

Nice boot -
The Ugg Broome is attractive, well constructed and very warm. I originally ordered a seven, but found the calf was too tight, especially since I wanted to wear these with skinny jeans tucked in. A half size up was perfect.

What service--UNBELIEVABLE -
I ordered this boot at 1500 MST in Idaho and had them the next day at 11am MST all the way from KY! That is amazing. The boot is wonderful and very, very warm. I wore them on an outdoor trip with feet of snow and my feet stayed warm the whole day!

Love them!
I bought the black suede. The suede is gorgeous. These boots are so warm and they look great too. I have been getting a ton of compliments on them. The sheepskin lining does go throughout the boot so it keeps your legs very warm. I wear between a size 8 and 8.5. I went with the 8.5 and they fit perfect. Even on my narrow calves!

Okay review of the Broome -
The shoe, like all Uggs, is super comfortable. I was a little disappointed with the side zipper--I assumed I would get a tighter fit. The shoe is a bit dressier than a basic UGG -- living in Minnesota, boots are more necessity than fashion, so when you find a shoe that balances both it becomes a winner.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Merrell has some high boots that are a good option.

The Favorite!
This boot was one the best boot purchases I made in 2007... Out of a total of 6 pair that I added to my wardrobe this past fall/ winter. These are my favorite (although I hate to play favorites...). I received them prior to a ski trip and wore them new for the trip. Easy break in, no blisters, but a few areas that were ever-so-slightly sensitive for about 2 days. I worried it may become something more uncomfortable, but they were fine. I do wear a thin sock with these. Understated, but most classics are. I normally wear a size 7, occasionally a 6 1/2, but had to go with the smaller size. The 7 was just too big. I was heartbroken to part with them. Had to send them back and order elsewhere as Zappos did not have my size. Zappos spoils you with the overnight delivery, so the 3 day delivery (plus cost for upgraded shipping) seemed like torture. Arch support is decent, but my arch support insole makes them that much better. I must have freakishly high arches (just kidding). I agree with those who say you won't be disappointed. Looked great with a casual dress, too. They are really great and if they hold up for a few years, they will be so worth it. Only time will tell. Thus far, totally happy with the purchase.

This is a perfect boot for someone looking for a warm boot that has understated elegance, but yet is versatile enough for casual as well as dressier outfits. The wool lining adds warmth without being too hot for indoor wear. I only wish this boot came in both medium and wide widths. And the shaft could be tad smaller for those with narrow calves.

The leather is so nice, they are elegant and pretty, while rugged at the same time. I love them,
and they make size 5! They were worth every penny - and I've NEVER spent more than $100 on a pair of boots or shoes, so for me to say that is a lot.

Received today. They are beautiful boots. I wear a size 8 but went with the 8 1/2 and I'm glad I did because they fit perfectly. The 8 would have been too small. I also have the Ugg classic and the UGG Brooks and both are a size 8 and they fit perfectly so I think these run small. I also have a small calf and I only have about an inch clearance when zippered. But they look really nice and sleek and are comfy. I'm glad I bought them!

I ordered the UGG Broome boots as a gift to my daughter.
She loves them and everyone who sees them on her raves about how they look. She's pretty much a fashion maven, so I did well on the choice and Zappos did a fantastic job having them on the site and getting them to me pronto. I love Zappos!

This is my first pair of Uggs, but I will definitely buy another pair because of how warm, comfortable, and stylish they are. They look very nice under dress pants, fitted lounge pants, and even wide leg jeans!!! I did have to get the front sole on one of my boots...but since then honestly no problems...and I wear them practically everyday...Thank you Zappos and they really came the next day.

Great Boots for Chilly Days -
I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear. I might have been able to go a full size down... but these are fine. The calves are tighter than I'd expected so I won't be tucking in any jeans, BUT the snug fit does help keep me warm. That said, I've worn them all day in the office twice and was thrilled that my feet were never too warm. The boots don't fit well under my snugger jeans and cords, but they are great with my wider leg pants and with skirts.

I've had numerous surgeries in the last 5 years, buying shoes has always been a nightmare made worse by this. Since I found Zappos.com I'm always able to find what I need, whether for work, dress casual, sandals, comfort, you name it. I could not do this if it weren't for you. Before you came along I bought possibly one pair of shoes per year, and never online or through a catalog because of the shipping charges.
