LOVE THESE!
I love these shoes! When I first put these on, they were a bit stiff around the ankle, but after 10 minutes of walking around the house, they were much better. I'm a 7.5-8, but I ordered in a 7, and they fit perfectly. I'd been looking for a versatile brown boot, and I got an extremely well-built shoe that will last and last. And great service, ordered at 10:30pm and they came the next day!

Skinny ankles/calf -
I really liked this boot a lot; however, the ankle section was cut very in a very narrow manner. I'm an active, outdoors woman looking for something useful and somewhat fashionable. If that's what you're looking for, then this boot does it all. Just keep in mind, for all of those active athletic women out there, that the ankle/calf section will be a struggle. I am sadly returning these boots because I won't be able to fit into them.

These boots look awesome from the ankle up. My husband said my foot was shaped like a banana when I put them on. They are very nice looking, just not on me.
I'm sending them back, but ordered another shoe. Zappos.com has been a great source for shoes with excellent service!

I'm a Timberland convert -
Love the Darcey boot! I'd originally wanted the Lexiss (also a gorgeous Timberland boot), but it was not available in my size. Got the Darcey instead and am truly pleased. Incredibly well made. Comfortable. Rugged, yet somehow classy. Can pair with jeans, dressier pants, skirts. And did I mention comfortable? Yeah, comfortable. Love 'em.

Love this boot -
Comfortable stylish and fun to wear with a variety of things. Very comfortable on the first day of wear. I like the combo urban/biker look it provides. Would purchase again in a different color.

Great Winter Boot -
This boot is great for winter. They've held up beautifully through a couple snowy, slushy days. Very versatile, too. You can punk it out with a mini dress or wear it over pants or leggings for a more polished look.

Just what we were looking for -
Great boot and well built, but it will need stretching if you have normal sized calves. Got them for my daughter who has runner calves so they needed a good deal of stretching.

Fit is pretty true to size...running just a little snug. I love the look and the tread-great with short skirts.

Timbo Darcy - great all over -
Frankly the pocket on the side did it for me.
And it's a tall boot, and it's got a waffle bottom. It's just rugged. Goes w/ jeans or skirt, so you can wear to work.
Originally I got an 8, but it looked sooo big. I'm short, so I had that "L" look. Tried 7.5 fearful my toes would be curled up, but NOPE. Fits fine.

LOVE these boots! I bought a pair several years ago in a rust/brown color, and they are still great. I'm so happy to have this chocolate brown pair now too. These are the most comfortable, versatile boots I've ever owned. Highly recommended!
And as always, Zappos service is the BEST!

These shoes are beautiful and I really love the color and texture of the leather. They are exactly as described in the description. However they are stiff. They've stretched and have become more comfortable the more I've worn them. I feel sure that with time they will become my favorite boots.

Gorgeous! Really really cool. I wear them with long skirts, a miniskirt, and all kind of trousers... they are little bit tough at the beginning, but they will become softer...Good quality leather, awesome.

Great Boots!
These are awesome boots! I was able to wear these on an all day trek around New York City within one week of receiving them. Stylish and rugged, they fit under jeans or over my skinny jeans. Also cute with a skirt! Not only is the leather high quality, the entire construction of the boot is high quality. Zappos service is FANTASTIC. I ordered these boots at 4:30 pm on a Thursday and they arrived the following day. I would not hesitate to order from this site again and have recommended it to all my friends! Love them!
Though these boots have a somewhat rugged look, they’re quite stylish with its change in leather texture and side pocket. They're comfortable even though they have a hard exterior. They do, however, look better with skinny jeans rather than skirts.

Fabulous boot!
I forgot to add in my earlier review that this boot is 2 tone. It's hard to detect in the pictures online. The shaft is a different type of leather (oiled?) than the foot and top collar. It's subtle. And it looks fantastic. It gives the boot even more of an urban yet rugged look at the same time. Haven't walked outside with them yet, but can tell they'll be pretty comfy. Doesn't seem like there needs to be a break-in period at all.

Incredibly cute boot!
What an incredibly cute boot. Got them in the color "gaucho smooth." Great dark brown hue. They look tough without being too tough chick looking. And I think they'll look great even when they're "worn" in (scuffed up). I'm a 7.5 in shoes and a 7-7.5 in boots. Bought these in 7 and the fit is perfect. No heel slippage at all. Enough room in the foot bed and can wiggle my toes - but no foot sliding at all. I have medium sized calves and they fit just fine. I should be able to slip a skinny jean into the boot because there's a little goring at the top. These are a keeper.

Great boots, but what is even greater is the stellar customer service from Zappos! I ordered these on Sunday afternoon and they arrived Monday afternoon. I could not ask for better service. Everything I have ordered I either loved or sent back with no problems returning or getting credit for my returns. As for the boots, they are not for the girl that likes dainty shoes. Just clunky enough to be cute with pants and more dressed-down dresses or skirts. Very well made and good quality leather. Thanks Zappos. You rock!

These Boots Rock!
I have tried countless pairs of boots and have finally found the ones! These boots offer so much. Being Timberlands, they have comfortable insoles and arch support. The leather is gorgeous, with the main foot portion being water resistant - making them nice for rainy or snowy days. The shaft contrasts with a nubuck finish. The rubber soles give enough that they are über comfortable to walk in and unlike many shoes today, these are stitched together - quality few shoes have today. And if all of that weren't enough, they are a nice balance between feminine and kicka$$.

Just Ordered My Second Pair -
I've had a pair of these for about 3 years now and I vowed that if they ever sold them again in my size I'd get another pair. Not because mine are worn out...far from it. But because they're good boots and that's not so easy to come by...especially in this price range. The leather is tough but stretches nicely and they really do look attractive with nearly anything. I'm super happy to have the second pair coming in the mail today.

Several sites popped up. I went to a few sites to compare prices and finally landed Zappos.com. I am so glad I did. The free shipping was great and brought my cost below the other sites' costs for the same item. However, after placing my order, within a few hours I got an email notifying me that my shipment would be sent in 24 hours. I had planned to present my daughter with this gift at her party on Saturday, however, her birthday was next day. Can you believe it! We received the sneakers within 24 hours of ordering it, on her birthday. This was the best service I've received online or in person for that matter.
