Thank you for having my size (14-E) of Rockport (my podiatrist recommended them) dress shoes in stock. I was only disappointed that you didn't have two pairs in stock because I would have bought both of them.

A True Value… Fits true to size & width. Leather uppers breathe & require very little break in. Soles are long wearing, shock absorbing, slip resistant, and do not soak up water on wet days. Great shoes! Great Service! It just doesn’t get any better than ZAPPOS! I'll be shopping here often for all my 9.5 B (narrow) width shoes.

Great shoes!
These shoes look good and feel good. I used to wear Rockports, but their quality had dipped, so I didn't buy them for a few years. I gave these a try, and now I feel confident that their quality has improved. I like these shoes so much that I bought a pair in brown and another in black.

SHARP-LOOKING SHOE -
I bought these shoes for my son who has worn orthopedic devices since he was a baby. From wearing orthotics, his foot did not develop normally width-wise and is very narrow. I purchased the NARROW width and the shoe fit great. Normal shoes (C width) are too wide and they fit sloppy, especially in the heel. This shoe is very attractive and looked sharp with his suit. My son is 22 so the look was perfect for his age bracket...nothing too stuffy or stodgy. I highly recommend this shoe, especially for those who are a little choosy about being stylish.

Shoes are very good quality and workmanship. They look sharp and require only 2-3 days wearing for "break-in." Why do the shoelaces have to be so long they drag on the ground? Compared to other equivalent shoes, I prefer these over around 2/3 or so of other brands/models. This was my first experience with Zappos...very positive. I'll be back.

The shoes look and feel great and I continue to get compliments from friends and onlookers. I've told them all, to check out Zappos website and order a pair of their own. The look, the fit, the comfort, the service, and the site have made my buying experience an incredible pleasure. I'm looking for boots now!

This is the ticket!
If you want a shoe that fits well, particularly, if you’re a "narrow" 10B - this is it. If you want that same shoe to be comfortable, shock-absorbing, and sleek enough to wear with high-end suits - this is it. This shoe looks better than the pics and costs less than most comparable dress shoes.

Below average fit -
I am a man's 6.5. I've noticed fewer and fewer styles available in 6.5, so I have to buy 7s. Sometimes they fit, sometimes they don't. This is close. The heel fits well, but the ball is a touch too wide.

Good looking, cheaply made -
The South Ferry is a very nice looking shoe. When I received mine, I was disappointed with the construction. Just another cheap dress shoe with a molded one-piece sole and heel. Very tough to replace the heel when it wears. Sole is not stitched - it is just molded to look like it. I returned them.

South Ferry worth the trip -
I was looking for a basic black laced dress shoe, and found it in the South Ferry. Yes, it is plain, but the leather shines, the shoe fits well and it's comfortable to wear all day long. Good value for the price.

Only choice in town -
Good comfortable shoe right out of the box, but heavy. I have a very wide foot EEEE which makes finding properly fitted shoes very difficult. This is even worse as I am a ballroom dancer, and nobody carries anything other then "D". Zappos used to carry these, but stopped. Wish they would do so again. (Hint, Hint).

Quite soft leather and comfortable right out of the box. Very little breaking in required. Very good selection of colors that suit just about any occasion. Good value.

These shoes fit well right out of the box. They are a bit snug, especially in the toe box. I have long narrow feet and thought about ordering a narrow size. I am glad I did not. The regular width is quite snug on even my foot. The look is fairly understated (bland), but given the comfort, it is an even trade.

Fits well. Comfortable right away. Looks nice. Sole is not leather like higher priced shoes, but some sort of synthetic material. I like it a lot. I bought 4 pair of Rockports - this one, Farren (wingtips), Windom (split toe), and Waterton (cap toe). These and the Farren are the most comfortable. Windom and Waterton are noticeably more expensive and look a bit nicer.

There's more room at the toe than I was expecting. I've bought other Rockports in size 14 and my foot fills the shoe with an 1/8 inch to spare. Because of the squared toe on this shoe, there's more like 3/4 of an inch there.

Too tight for normal medium widths -
Like the Rockport Banstead this shoe was very tight in the width. I normally wear an 8 medium in Keen, J & M, and Stonefly. Zappos exchange program worked well and I now have an 8 wide coming. I'll report here on fit at that time.

Shoe looks and feels great. I have not had much opportunity to wear them yet, but so far, so good. I have a narrow foot. I wear them with an off-the-shelf orthotic, so a medium width fit perfectly.

Comfortable and good looking.
After trying out several different styles of shoes in the 4x width, my husband chose the Rockport South Ferry; it was the most comfortable of 5 different styles. I liked the real leather look as opposed to the water resistant leather. This shoe fit his hard to fit foot width and is light weight as well, he wore them on a business trip for the first time and said they didn't need a break in and were very comfortable. He likes them, a good find.

Much Better...
Cursed with flat narrow feet, I've been through pain and suffering with other brands. Bs that were too narrow, Cs that were too wide. Soles and uppers that were so stiff they made walking a chore. Rockport seems to do the trick. The South Ferry is my third--and most stylish--pair. The Narrow is a little closer to a C than a B, but it works. It could have had a little arch support, but there's just enough extra room to do that on my own if I want.

Best looking Rockports ever?
Love my Rockports, but sometimes I need/want a more up-to-date shoe. This one fits the bill, great for a casual office.

I submitted an email explaining my situation. It was responded to almost immediately. I was told that the order had already shipped but that Zappos would contact UPS for me, something I'm sure other companies would not bother doing, and recall the order.
