Best purchase in a long time -
I have been looking for boots like this for years - truly comfortable but nice looking with heels. Most claim to be comfortable but never really came through, until these. I got the brown, then got the last black pair in my size. They're so comfortable, I have them on all day from morning to night. No padding needed. It's even more comfortable than some of my flat shoes. I'm glad I decided to listen to the reviews - I was not going to buy because they are a tad costly, but I decided to go ahead and it was so worth it!

This is just an outstanding pair of boots!!! I've been looking for a pair of semi-casual boots that I could wear to work and with jeans or dress down some - and I've finally found them in the Doyenne style. The boots are comfortable and stylish. The leather is pretty rich. I have the Doyenne in black and will go ahead and order them in brown - they are just THAT great!!!

Walk All Day...
I recently bought the pair in brown and did a lot of walking the following day, I felt I was walking in cushions all day. I currently have 31 pairs of boots and the Indigo Doyenne Boots have been the most comfortable pair of boots I've owned. I went back to Clarks in Santa Monica, CA to order the pair of black boots.

Ultra Comfort -
These boots are the MOST COMFORTABLE boots!! If you want a bit of a heel, but don't want to sacrifice comfort these are the ones! I wore them shopping for 6 hours right out of the box and they were extremely comfortable. They run a half size big. The inside is lined with fine wale corduroy so they feel nice against your leg. The buttons at the top of the shaft are working buttons, I guess if you have a bigger calf you could actually unbutton as many buttons at the top as you would need to allow you more room.

Really comfortable boot. I really like them because they aren't your typical brown boot… they have a different look that you can wear with a skirt or jeans. Love them!

Comfort without compromise -
I was searching forever for a cute pair of boots that were comfortable but weren't boring looking. I definitely found such a combination with this pair. At first I had my concerns because I've never bought a pair of shoes from online. Before, I was adamant on trying them in person but when I read about the fantastic shipping policy Zappos had, I couldn't pass the opportunity up. Even though the shoes are a little pricey, they're definitely worth it. I bought this pair in a size 6 even though I wear a size 5 1/2 because I've found from previous experience that it's good to go a half size up if you plan to wear socks with these shoes. Definitely will plan to buy another pair from Indigo.

Really comfy boots!
These boots are well worth the money. They are comfy and cute. I'm a reporter so I am on my feet all day and constantly on the go, these boots not only feel great but are great with skirts and pants. With Clarks I always buy a 1/2 size smaller for a perfect fit.

Great Boot!
I wanted a funky boot to go with skirts and jeans and I have found it! I love these boots! They are really comfy and go really well with my dress casual clothes!

I love this boot. I am having surgery on my left foot in a week, and it is extremely hard for me to find shoes that are comfortable for more than a couple of hours. These boots are comfortable until I take them off, and they are great looking on top of the comfort. I am very happy with them!!

Super cute -
I just received the boots (gotta LOVE the free overnight shipping!) and I am not disappointed. I love the square, up-tilting duck-billed toe. I was worried that the heel would be a little too funky and too much with the special toe, but it's not. I tried them on, and they feel comfortable enough. The boots aren't cheap, but I felt it was worth shelling out the money, since I've been looking for so long for a black boot that I liked and have been "living with" a sub-par black boot for a year now. Give these a try!

I have been looking for a casual, lower heel boot and when I saw these, I thought they looked adorable in all the pics. Needless to say, I was excited about receiving these. When I got them (the day after ordering them), I was a bit disappointed. For the price, I thought that they would be a better quality leather than what they appeared to be. The style - toe, heel & sole - is still very cute, but the leather is a bit stiff and shinier than what I thought it would be. In short, they look cheaper in person than in the pics. If the leather was less shiny & softer (better quality), these would be great boots - so different & cute. I will have to return these and get something else, perhaps a casual wedge heel boot. Can't complain about Zappos - they're great as usual.

Love, love, love these boots!
I don't think I've ever had this type of a love affair with footwear before. I love these boots for their look, their comfort, and their versatility. I can wear these with pants, dresses, or skirts. I've already gotten many compliments on these boots. They are very comfortable, though I did add an insert for just a little more cushioning (why not?).
My only complaint is that the ankle and calf of this boot is just a little too roomy. It doesn't affect the comfort of the boot, but I think it would look a little sleeker if it fit closer. But this may accommodate women who have a hard time finding boots to fit their calves.
They've also proven resilient when I wore them in some wet, muddy grass. I had sprayed some leather protector on them already, and no water soaked through to my socks. I was able to clean the mud off with a damp cloth and some saddle soap.
Also, the color brown has some red undertones to it, which I really like.
I think I will get a LOT of use out of these boots! Thanks again, Zappos, for your fabulous customer service and speedy delivery!

Doyenne boot - Clarks cute, wide shoe -
I really liked the look of this shoe - I think that Clarks has a great heel design going on. But the footbed and ankle were really wide. The length was right so I'm not picking another size. If you have a wide foot these would work much better. I generally have a normal foot and narrow heel - oddly the heel wasn't really the issue. Zappos, of course, rocks my shoe world!

Like Slippers!
The most comfortable boots I've ever put on. My only concern is that the forefoot is so very flexible and soft, that I would not want to be doing a lot of walking on hard surfaces. I'm used to feeling “held in” and my foot supported fully when I wear a boot. Also--to me, this is not a boot to wear outside in inclement, wet weather, as there is leather exposed between the rubber treads on the sole of the boot. Worn indoors or walking for very short distances (due to the higher heel) outdoors during dry weather--this boot would be ideal. As you can tell---I'm still thinking about it. For the price, I need a boot to be very versatile.

Oh so comfortable!
I loved these boots! I am a bartender by trade, spending long hours on my feet, and these are quite possibly the most comfortable boots I have ever put on my feet. The fit was perfect, except for the height of the boot, they hit my calf in a really weird spot, making my already short legs look even shorter. Unfortunately, I had to return them. I am determined to find another pair of Clarks that will support my hard working feet!

Really cute boot -
I ordered this in a brown and love the looks and the color, a nice deep rich brown. After ordering other Clarks shoes I debated on what size to order, I usually wear 9 1/2 to 10, mostly 10 because of width. I ordered these in a 10 and I'm glad I did, they fit perfect. My calf measurement is 14 1/2 (yes I did measure) and I had no trouble zipping these up, but if you want jeans to fit inside the shaft and you have bigger calves I wouldn't get them. I loved these boots so much I ordered two pair of Clarks' shoes in the same design; by the way if you want your foot to look shorter these are the boots to get for dress or casual.
