Amazing shoes! The gray ones are adorable and go with any outfit. Very comfortable if you are used to walking in shoes with little arch support (I am). They keep your feet warm too. Don't wear them in the rain because it ruins the flannel. I recommend getting a half size bigger. I am usually a 7.5, but the 8 fit better. You'll get tons of compliments in 'em!

My son lost a pair of black extra wide Rockport loafers and they did not carry the X-wide in the stores. So I tried Zappos and found them!

Finally a dress shoe that's wide enough -
I wear a 4E width and this shoe fits to the point that I don't feel like I'm wearing shoes. No pinching or binding. Zappos is the only place that I found a dress shoe in my size, and great selection. I also paid for three day shipping and Zappos overnighted them to me. I am very satisfied.

I Love My Loafers -
The shoes arrived sooner than expected, and they look and fit great. The insole has Rockport's Dynamic Suspension System, which gives me additional comfort. I would buy these shoes again!

Very Comfortable -
Just took them out of the box and wore them on vacation. First pair of Rockports, very comfortable. I have a wide foot and these are 8.5W and fit very well. Similar in feel to a pair of Italian loafers I bought in Italy a couple of years ago, lightweight and soft.

Great Loafers -
These are fantastic looking, extremely comfortable shoes. Better looking and more comfortable than Cole Haan and other more expensive options. I was really impressed.

Just what you would want -
In a dressy loafer, I really appreciate firm support over "sloppy" softness. This shoe is a real shoe and it gives real support. I have some very casual, very soft more moccasin type shoes where that is not desirable. But, these are for being on my feel all day. They are just great! Great looking and well made.

The air soles in these shoes work. I walk on hospital floors all day, and the air chambers definitely move the air.

Stylish Ashburton, but not walking on air -
I've been buying Rockports for 20+ year. I'm 6' 5", 220 lbs, size 14 feet, and had back pain for years. Rockport's larger sized dress shoes with vibram soles were made with me in mind. Great until Rockport tinkered with their line up about 5 years ago. So now I only cautiously recommend Rockports. The Ashburton does look great, even in my large size. But they have leather soles, so you don't feel like you are walking on air as you did when Rockport loafers had vibram soles. If you are on your feet all day or walking long distances this isn't the right shoe. But they are far more comfortable than other leather soled loafers I've tried, and take just 2 days to break-in. If you are a big guy with big feet, have a desk job, and can't find good looking dress shoes, get these until Rockport breaks out the vibram again.

My husband began teaching 7 years ago and stands on his feet all day. He purchased this shoe and the first time he wore them they were comfortable. He did not have to break them in at all. I have tried to get him to get another style, but he will wear nothing but this one.

Shoes okay but I'm not thrilled with it. Fits good enough but not great and the sole is kind of weird with a combination leather and rubber interspersed and the body of the shoe consists of a rather thin leather that isn't very "holding." I wouldn't buy this pair again.

A perfect casual shoe -
This is the first shoe I have ever purchased that was comfortable from the first moment I put it on. It is lightweight and roomy. The finish is superb, and I have only had to polish this shoe once in six months, even though I wear it every day. Usually I just buff it with a sock, and it is ready to go.
While I do have a perfect wife, this shoe comes in a close second.

Rockport hits the skids -
I was very disappointed. The brown soft leather looked and felt great, at first. Then as the shoe settled after a week, a manufacturing flaw was revealed, an overlay of the interior sole pieces beneath the inset in the right shoe which created a "bump" at the ball of the foot...very uncomfortable. The cordovan was too red and also uncomfortable stiff leather (same style but different leather??). I always trusted Rockport (15 years) but never again.

Not good shoes they wear out too quickly -
These shoes are good looking but they wear out too quickly my left shoe ended up wearing out faster then my right one, please don’t buy these.

Rockport Rocks On -
As with most Rockport shoes, these penny-loafer styled moc-toed loafers are comfortable, light and true to size. Great for both casual and casual-dress attire.

The construction of this shoe was flawless. Though a "comfort shoe," the design makes it appear more like dress loafer. The square toe design may allow the use of a "D" width instead of an "E" for some.

Casual comfort -
The Rockport line of shoes has never disappointed me. The Ashburton is no exception. Comfortable, casual and yet dressy enough to get by in many situations. Very high quality with exceptional comfort.
