Fit like a glove -
My first day with them and they feel like the old comfortable pair of shoes you like the most...
They fit like a glove and feel as comfortable as walking barefoot on new carpet.
I highly recommend this shoe.

Love these shoes. I am not a runner but I am a pronator. Totally flat-footed with sore feet, sore ankles, knees, and back. A month with these shoes and the pain is gone. Love how the shoe lets my feet breath. Lightweight. I'm back to buy another pair.

My new favorite -
If you have a wide foot and are looking for a light comfortable hiking boot I would recommend these. They look great with jeans and khakis. I ordered these boots around 10:00pm and had them the next day! Does Zappos employ shoe fairies? You decide.

Great shoes, but check the size - I love these sturdy, fun shoes. I had 4 pairs of Brooklyns before this, and hardly wear anything else now. They're great for tromping around the city and for casual hikes too. I had problems with ankles and feet after a sports accident, and these shoes made walking fun again. One thing: For years, I needed to buy the Brooklyns in a size 11, a full size larger than any other shoes I had. But with this order, that same 11 was way too large. I had to exchange my 11s for 10s. Go figure.

Gotta love 'em -
This is my 5th pair of Keens. They are all I wear unless forced to wear a skirt :-) I bought them to replace my Boston Chukkas that Keen discontinued. They are a bit wider than all of my other Keens and I can't quite get them laced as tight as I'd like to. Other than that, they are perfect. I have wide feet and high arches, and all Keens have been great - I no longer need orthotics.

I've only been wearing the new shoes for about an hour, so I'll need more time to completely evaluate them, but they seem to be comfortable and just as advertised.
Ordinarily I don't do a lot of writing reviews, but I'd like to say this: The process of shopping on Zappos is excellent because of feedback provided by customers... that's a big plus! And by reading enough of them, one can get a pretty good sense of what their own experience with the shoes may be. Secondly, I must go out of my way to commend Zappos. You are without doubt, the gold standard when it comes to service, delivery, and selection. My toes no longer hit the front of my shoe! Great for walking the Suwanee Greenway and Park Trails. Did put in arch supports, but only because of flat feet.

As usual the Keen street boots are comfortable, well made and look good. I use them for work boots in my aerospace job. The support is excellent and the wider toe box doesn't have my toes screaming for release by the end of the day.
The mid length is enough ankle support without being restrictive. I will continue to buy these for work and play (I have 2 pairs) as long as Keen and Zappos sell them.

Comfortable out of the box. Wider in the toe box than my Danner EE boots without being too wide in the heel (similar to Birkenstocks toe box). Wider in toe box than Keen Arroyo II. Sole is very comfortable for walking on hard surfaces (sole is not aggressive enough for a serious trail shoe). Light weight. Water proofing is only marginally effective due to design of tongue (water to the laces will leak). Ordered one pair for me and one pair for my son (replaced his nearly two year old Brooklyn Mid. He is very hard on any shoe and this one served him well before the sole came unglued). Recently ordered the Napa for wife and she is also very pleased. We are repeat Zappos customers due to the excellent (fast) service, value, and quality products.

Instant Wet Feet -
These shoes are probably fine if you rarely/never encounter water. But as a HVAC service tech, I am constantly around water, puddles, mud. I need a nice looking/waterproof boot.
This shoe is advertised as waterproof... but there is no point in waterproof fabrics/soles when water can instantly get into the shoe thru the tongue. There is no gusset on the tongue, and the shape of the toe box directs water straight back to the bottom of the tongue. And it amazes me how instantly water gets into the shoe ... most shoes take a few seconds to penetrate the weak spot, but these are instantaneous. I hate wet feet, I don't like these shoes for that reason. Every other aspect is fine.

I walk quite a bit around Chicago, and these boots make certain that I do it in comfort. They were comfortable from the minute I put them on. I am new to Keen but now I am a huge fan.

This is my 3rd pair of this shoe and obviously I'm a fan. Great support for my ankles, sleek design, lightweight, yet strong - keeps me coming back… Free shipping is a major plus. I would purchase more mid styles if Keen would design them. Different colors would be nice, too. Thanks from Oakland, CA!!!

This shoe is exactly what I was looking for. Great fit and arch support. Most shoes that look like this are so flat foot feeling and I can’t wear those. I recommend these to anyone, very cool.

Casual and utilitarian -
This shoe replaced the 'Brooklyn Mid' in my collection of go-to-town but wear here on the farm for lighter chores. It is especially comfy with orthotic inserts but felt good just out of the box as well. I usually take a men’s size 39 or 39.5 in Euro or a women’s 6.5 or 9, US size. Keens fit well, and give me feet space to wiggle while providing good support. I'd recommend this shoe.

Great casual boot -
Great boot, I have a narrow foot and would like to be able to tighten the laces a bit more (it can be done, but difficult) or have a more narrow toe box but otherwise very happy with the shoe.

Babyboomers who purchase this shoe may have flashbacks to Earth shoes and Roots from the early 70's. I was a little disappointed with this shoe. Almost no support even with aftermarket orthotic insoles. They are comfortable in the sense that they are soft, lightweight and require almost no break-in. I generally wear a high top shoe like this for heel and ankle support which this shoe fails to provide. Save your money and get a more substantial shoe.

Nice boots from Keen!
So I have to say that I like these boots, but I don't love them. I have a pair of Keen Austin which I L.O.V.E. but these I just like.
All in all they are pretty comfortable. Took about a week to break in. Feel solid yet light weight. If you're thinking about buying them, go ahead. You won't regret it.

Needs better tongue and a set of Scholl's -
I read the other reviews that said these need a new set of insoles, and they were right. Comfortable out of the box, except for the tongue corners dug into my ankles, unless I pushed it to the side. The little foot farts disappeared with some Scholl's gel insoles, and the fit was better too. (they are a little over-sized So that may have been the problem. After my little adjustments, I love 'em, but I adjust everything I buy, so maybe I'm just picky.

Great walking shoe -
I bought these because I already owned the Brooklyn mid and love them but as good as the Brooklyn’s are I've found the Richmond’s to be better for longer distance walking. I walk about two miles a day and these shoes are much more comfortable than any other I've tried. I highly recommend these especially for people with wider feet.

Keens Richmond is a Winner for casual style!
The Richmond Mid is a winner for those looking for a shoe that is as comfortable as sneakers but a slightly more stylish. To my way of thinking you can dress 'em up with casual slacks or lay back with jeans and still be a cut above.
Quality is built in as with most Keen products and for me anyway, the size is just right keeping in mind that like most Keens sizing will run a tad large. I had to return my first ordered pair because I had neglected to take this into account. With Zappos quick turn around policy a one half size replacement was no sweat. If I had any beef with this shoe it would be for a little more arch support. But then, it's not really supposed to be an athletic shoe.
