Nice, but one shoe too tight -
The shoes are pretty comfortable, but after a day of wearing them the right shoe was hurting my foot midway down the outside. It's a bit too tight in that one area. I still wear the shoes, but it does bother me after an extended period of time.

The fact they are recycled makes them perfect -
These shoes are great, cheap, lightweight, comfortable and recycled.
The the soles are grippy but not rugged, so no dog poop sticks in them!!! That’s a plus!

Comfortable and eco-friendly -
I couldn't find the hemp version of the shoe in my size (I had to go 1/2 size up), but got the leather version instead. I'm very happy. They are a comfortable fit, have a nice design and seem well-made. I also like the recycled materials (the sole still has the max pressure lettering on it from the original tire - pretty cool). I wish they were as cheap as the hemp.

Awesome but noisy -
I loved these shoes for the first five or six months. After that both the left and the right shoe developed a really annoying squeak whenever I took a step. Other than that, though, they're fantastic.

Good Simple shoe.
Nice, simple shoe. I'm a converse man, but sometimes need something a little nicer and still casual. This is that shoe. Not a ton of support (I think other Simple shoes have more), but I use Birkenstock insoles. Order a half size larger than you normally would--they seem to run small.

Great shoes! Saw an ad in Rolling Stone and thought I'd like to get a pair. Next thing I get an email from Zappos stating they now carry Simple Shoes. Read some reviews that stated that they were sized about a half size small. Ordered a half size bigger and love 'em (especially for playing the drums).

These shoes are great! They are exactly what I was looking for in a shoe - not as much arch support, not as bulky, and very stylish. The fact that they are environmentally friendly is always a bonus. My only minor complaint is that the bottom is not as grippy as I'm used to, but it still does the job. It's true that they feel a little tighter than the size indicates so order 1/2 to full size up. Overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

Vegan friendly/comfortable/good looking shoe!
I've been looking for size 14 vegan friendly shoes for a very long time, and could never find them in any stores. When I came across this shoe I was skeptical at first, but when it was in my possession it was much better than expected. The shoe looks great, reminiscent of a "Vans Old Skool" shoe, it has nice padding on the sole (I have fairly flat feet), and it's not bulky like other skate shoes. I think this is an overall great fit and recommend it to anyone.

Working in the recycling industry, I really enjoy having these shoes. I like to show off the fact that they are environmentally friendly due to the hemp and old tires used to make them. It makes me feel like I am doing my part. Al Gore would high five me if given the chance.

Good shoe minor issues -
Simple makes a good shoe. The only gripes I have are that the insole, made of recycled paper, is worthless and needed replacement and the simple logo on the heel was not glued on very well and fell off (not a big deal). Other than those two things, they are great shoes - comfortable and seem as though they'll wear for a long time. I think next time I'll buy them in hemp or canvas though because the leather is pretty warm.

Great shoe, the only problem I had with it is that the sole gets dirty really fast, but other than that… one of my favorite pairs.

The title says it all. I traditionally wear Rocket Dogs, but wanted to try the Simple Eco Sneaks... I will definitely buy more. They are extremely comfortable and fit perfect.

Great Shoe, Not a Great Fit -
We sent this lovely shoe back twice as it was so small. My husband wears size 11 or 11 1/2 shoes and is wearing a 13 in this shoe. They are smart and eco-friendly and we love that, but the sizing is off.

A really good looking shoe. Fits well and is comfortable, but does run rather small. I have really flat feet so the little bit of arch support is just right for me. Overall pretty awesome.

Eco shoe -
Overall it’s a fun shoe. I purchased it more for its eco value than good looks. Very little cushioning. Reminds me of my old pair of Converse.
Overall, I’m satisfied with the price I paid & its eco value!

My new favorite casual shoe -
I've been wearing Vans for the last 25 years and these shoes fit well with the style and comfort I'm used to. They're simple, lightweight, and comfortable. However, since these shoes use an old tire for the sole, there is a noticeable difference when walking. My strides feel smoother with these shoes.

This is a great shoe for what it is. Good construction and basic comfort. I normally wear a size 10 and ordered a 10 1/2. It fit perfectly. Also unexpectedly got it the day after I ordered. I will probably get another pair in a different color.

I've had numerous surgeries in the last 5 years, buying shoes has always been a nightmare made worse by this. Since I found Zappos.com I'm always able to find what I need, whether for work, dress casual, sandals, comfort, you name it. I could not do this if it weren't for you. Before you came along I bought possibly one pair of shoes per year, and never online or through a catalog because of the shipping charges.
