The only negative thing I have to say about this shoe is that they are a little HOT side. Otherwise, the fit, feel and look are great. I have chronic plantar fasciitis and wear orthodics in EVERY shoe. Amazingly, I don't have to wear my orthodics in this shoe. I also have a VERY wide foot and I have plenty of room in this shoe, so that is the reason that I think they are wider than marked.

Most Comfortable Shoe Ever (But You Must Wear Socks)-
I love this shoe--wearing them is like walking on clouds. The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Very light and breathable. Even though they are expensive, I'm breaking down and purchasing another pair because I've almost worn my first pair out. My only complaint--with all the air holes, you'd think you'd be able to wear these without socks, but I find I can't because the scratchy interior scratches up my bare feet. This is my main complaint with all the Earth Vegan shoes--even though so many are open designs (Mary Janes, etc.), you must wear socks with them in order to avoid blisters and scratches.

I have a herniated disk, and these shoes have been ever so helpful to me in enabling better posture and increased back comfort. Please never go out of business, but if you do, please give me a heads up so that I can snatch up enough pairs to last me the rest of my life!

Too wide, too bad..
LOVE these shoes, but they got wider and sloppier as I wore them...had to return them. Dang. Loved 'em, but after a while it was like strapping loose fabric to my foot, and I’ve got a wide foot!!! I’ll be watching for the new and improved version!!!

Earth Shoes Are Back!
Having worn leather Earth Shoes in the 1970's I was delighted to discover that a new generation of this shoe is in production. The same "negative heel" which works the back of your calves when walking but now with a light synthetic, "vegan" body. What's not to like!

Lightweight but odd fit -
These shoes are very lightweight and breathable for summer wear. But the straps are too long, need to be tightened a lot to keep the shoe from rubbing and then the straps overlap. I have 8 pairs of Earth shoes; these ones are my least favorite and have the least comfortable fit and feel. The style is also quite boxy and dowdy; the tennis shoes are much cuter and provide a more comfortable supportive fit for those on their feet all day.

Earth Flight -
Overall comfort is good. I had to tighten both straps because my foot is on the narrow side. I agree with previous comments that there is not enough velcro on the straps. Also they stick out too much when tightened.
I also have flat feet and put these shoes to the ultimate test by wearing them for an on my feet all day session. Unfortunately my arches got just as sore as with any other shoe. Big disappointment.
Other than that, I still like the shoes.

Comfortable shoes!
I bought these shoes because I am a massage therapist and on my feet a lot. They are SO comfortable, kind of like wearing slippers. I gave them a 4 for look because the toe kind of curves inwards and makes it look like you are slightly pigeon toed.

Liked the shoe but they had to go back. I wear a 10 in Earth sandals, but these were just a hair too small in a 10. I wish Earth carried size 10.5. Also they were fairly wide so if I went up a size they would be too wide. The shoe is great - just not for my foot.

If I had the money, I would have ordered another pair in another color just because this shoe is a shoe you can wear anyplace. It can be a walking shoe, an everyday shoe, a tennis shoe among more.
It is absolutely comfortable and after wearing it, my back doesn't hurt and I feel good at the end of the day.

My first pair of Earth shoes. I have RA with all knuckles removed on my feet causing a very difficult fitting and comfort problem. These are the shoes for me - no break in time - immediate comfort. Recommend the shoes to people with foot problems - but more than that is the service we get from Zappos. I am now looking for a sandal and currently waiting for the 3rd. Try. Hopefully they will be the ones. Thanx Zappos.

MOST COMFORTABLE EARTH SHOE -
These have to be the lightest weight shoe I have ever worn. The best part about that is there is no loss of durability or structure, no pressure points and the flexible sole allows full circulation to your foot with every step.

Great Shoes For Flat Feet!
I love my new Earth Flight shoes. They have revived my step! I have flat feet and just when I was about to give up on ever finding a shoe that I could wear all day, I found these! They are soothing to walk in, they are cute, and at the end of the day, my feet aren't tired and sore!

I am very impressed with the Earth Flight. You don’t need any break in time; you can wear them right away. They are a very sporty looking shoe, you can wear with shorts, capris and casual skirts. I wore them with or without socks and both ways very comfortable. I would definitely recommend these shoes. They are true to size.

These shoes are so comfortable I am now pain free. My back stopped hurting an hour after I put on the shoes. I am walking longer without having to sit and rest. Best shoes ever. I highly recommend them.

THESE ARE FABULOUS!
Again, I have surgery and these are so comfortable now before surgery I will be glad to have them after. They have room to wear socks and that is what I need. Another great shoe from Earth! Thanks so much Zappos. Will be back for another color soon. These are very, very, very comfortable.

Great walking shoe!
Would have been all 5 stars if there was more velcro as some of the other reviewers mention. It wouldn't have taken much to improve on this small design flaw and I can't believe Earth didn't catch this during testing. I originally bought a 7.5, exchanged them for a 7.0 which works perfectly. I have a very narrow foot but once I went down a half size, the width was great. I think if you size it to the length of your foot properly, the width will take care of itself for most people.
Mine have a satin like fabric lining the neoprene interior parts, so I think that takes care of the itchy neoprene some other reviewers remarked on.
I ordered the Bayleaf and love the neutral look of it. The overall look is clunky/chunky and won't win any sexy awards!

Great work shoes -
I am a full-time barista and had a really hard time finding good work shoes after I broke my leg last year. The negative-heel in this shoe works great for my broken leg. They are super-comfortable and I love that they are vegan. They definitely stand up to a hard 8 hours on my feet. I've had them 6 months and are still in great shape. I will only by Earth shoes for work from now on. They are worth the price.

These shoes saved my trip to Egypt.
I thought my proven trail-runners would be the perfect shoe for touring, but under conditions of scorching heat, uneven terrain & being on my feet for hours, I developed blisters under 8 toes. I switched to wearing these. This shoe took the pressure off the forefoot allowing me to continue in comfort. The perforations in this style provide nice ventilation and I was able to wear them with slacks for a more "dressed-up" look.

Wearing these shoes makes you feel like you are flying! They are very lightweight and just give you a little "bounce" when you walk. They have excellent arch support; I luv ‘em.

This is an extremely comfortable shoe right out of the box. It is soft, adjustable in the heel and across the instep. It runs wide, so you can wear socks with it. My diabetic feet frequently swell and are very pressure-sensitive. I have been able to wear these shoes, every day with no problems at all, even when I can't get my feet into my Earth Solar or Earth Kharma models. I plan to buy another pair so I can switch off. Just like walking around in slippers!
