Watch out for this style of shoe! I ordered others last year, and they squeak so loudly they are unwearable! Thank goodness Zappos took them back. Everyone else, buyer beware: the squeak does not go away! (They look good, fit well, I wanted to like them!)

Love these shoes for comfort and style, but also experienced the annoying squeak. Thought it was a breaking in issue, but it never went away. I finally contacted the Frye company who said that it might be a broken shank. Now I have to send the shoes away and pay for repair if I want to try to get rid of the squeak. If you buy these shoes and they squeak, return them to Zappos immediately for an exchange. I wish I would have.

Very comfortable and stylish shoe for walking around. Looks great with jeans and pants. The leather is getting softer as I wear the shoe. I have not found the squeaking problem mentioned by other reviewers.

Classic looking clog -
These are great looking clogs - brilliant combo the light brown with jeans. I have not worn them for any extended period of time yet and wonder if the hard sole will be a regret. The sole provides little flex and is harder than the majority of shoes in my closet, but I would be confident wearing them for a long evening. Nice fit, right out of the box and seems there will be no breaking in period - I just wonder about the lack of cushion compared to my usual shoes: Sofft, Softwalk, Clarks, Naturalizer, Privo...

Wonderful and comfort shoe -
When I work I am on my feet helping customers all day standing and walking on concrete. This is by far the most comfortable shoe ever. I placed my order one day and received my shoes the following day. The service Zappos offers is great. I am browsing the sandals now making my list. Thanks to all for the great service. Laura

Love them but they squeak -
I've had these clogs for several years, I love them as far as comfort but they squeak horribly. If you aren't in a noisy place others will definitely notice the squeaking sound. I've tried oiling/waxing where the rings and leather straps rub on top as it seems that where the sound comes from but it hasn't helped. These clogs did not squeak the first year I had them but have gotten worse since then. For comfort, they can't be beat.

Frye triple ring review -
These shoes are great! They take a little time to wear in but as long as you wear thin socks with them the process is pretty painless. I wear these shoes out when I know there is going to be a lot of walking involved but I still want to wear cute shoes.

Great shoe -
This is a comfortable and well made shoe. I makes a slight creaking noise when I walk, otherwise no complaints and very comfortable. I have high arches and have difficulty with a lot of shoes, but not with Frye.

A little bit elfish for me.
This is a beautiful, well made shoe. I usually wear a size 9.5 or 10 and my feet are on the wider side. These fit me in a size 9.5 but the comfort is ever so slightly lacking for me. I am also a little bit disappointed with the rise in the toe area, which I didn't realize was quite as marked as it is from the photo creating an elf-shoe effect; not a good look on my 5'8" frame. Back they go.

Great style and comfort, however, the shoes are noisy! I do like the Frey brand and hope they continue to make clogs.

Very comfortable -
Liked the overall look and feel of these clogs. I usually wear a 6 1/2 or 7. I ordered the 7 based on reviews. The 7 size is fine; I probably could have even worn the 6 1/2 because there is a small amount of space at the back of the heel. Even though, the shoe does not feel "sloppy" on my feet.

Beautiful clog -
These are beautiful but they are not at all comfortable. They look great with jeans but the leather is to stiff not good to walk in all day.

Excellent clog, cute and extremely comfortable for walking -
This is my second pair of Frye clogs purchased in the last year and I love them. I also have the Frye Charlotte Flower Cut style. They look great with jeans, cords and other pants. Frye clogs toe boxes are less bulbous than those of some of the more traditional European styles, so they tend to look more appropriate with dressier clothes. With a thin pair of socks or tights I could walk for miles in the Fryes, although they can chafe a bit if you walk a significant distance without socks.

FABULOUS clogs!

I recently purchased from Zappos the Frye Cheryl Studded Braid mule in dark brown, which I highly recommend. Since I liked it so much, I decided to get another Frye mule - this time the black Cheryl Triple Ring. It is very stylish and runs the same sizing as the other Frye mule. I usually wear a size 8, but a size 7 1/2 is just fine (the leather gives a little after just a couple of wearings). It's a perfect shoe to wear with jeans and very comfortable to wear all day. At first the shoe is quite stiff, but quickly the leather gives (stretches) just enough to be comfortable. Great quality leather - as usual from Frye! Fast delivery, as usual, from Zappos.
