Can’t recommend this shoe -
I would love to do so, but I can't recommend this shoe. I've been trying to break them in for 3 weeks.
The first time I wore it on a short hike, it almost rubbed off the top of my feet. It really crimps the toes. It has irritated a small bunion that hasn't bothered me in years. The arch support is non existent, the shoe is hot and not at all light weight. On top of all that, it turns the foot over instead of providing balance and support. I had to buy a pair of LOWAS to wear on hikes. I wore them straight out of the box on a rocky, difficult hike with no problems. My feet were in heaven. That shoe was the Klondike.
I rarely criticize a shoe and I love the looks of this Breeze and have received compliments; but for me, it is just not a comfortable shoe. I have a narrow foot with super high arches if that helps anyone make their own decisions.

Great Shoe -
I bought my first pair of hiking shoes for a Hawaiian vacation I just returned from last week. When I bought these and took it right out of the box, they were already so comfy. I wore them for four days straight before my trip just in case I needed to break them in. When I went on a hike through the rainforest of Manoa Falls, these shoes were put to the test and I was pleasantly satisfied with the awesome support it gave me in the muddy trail and rocky terrain. They're not the most stylish shoe out there, but these were the perfect pair to hike in. I liked it so much I hiked up Diamond Head next without problems! Buy a good pair of well cushioned hiking socks to compliment the comfort of it all.

Have another pair of Vasque hiking shoes that go over the ankle - loved them so when I wanted a pair with support just below the ankle I felt that I could find the perfect pair with Vasque - and that has proved true.

Well made shoes -
Lots of toe room and a nice long wearing firm sole. Roomy fit for thicker socks.

Great hiking shoes -
Very comfortable to hike in. The shoe got wet inside when I accidentally stepped in water. I think it went in through the mesh.

A great, sturdy outdoor shoe for light hiking -
Vasque breeze manages to be sturdy yet light enough for light summer hiking. Great roll protection, breathable. Only complaint is not really a complaint - they're comfortable but not flexible. Of course, I've only worn them a few days so we'll see what happens as they break in...

Nice and cool in hot weather, a bit heavy but not outside of what you'd expect in a solid hiker. Waterproofing holding up great so far...
