Comfy, like chocolate for your feet...
The shoe has a rich brown color and lots of style - silver trim "buckle", suede and a croc-look to the leather. Goes great with all pants, especially the really boring pants. Comfy at first wear.

Great for wide feet.
Comfortable shoes, even for wide feet. Bought them for work, but they also dress up jeans nicely. The patent leather on the toe keeps them from scuffing easily. Service from Zappos was outstanding, as usual.

Love this shoe!
This is a stylish classic that looks great with slacks for work. I needed something comfortable with a slight heel, but not too low, not too high. And I didn't want to compromise too much style for comfort and this fits the bill! My only complaint is they do seem to run a bit wide, so wear better with socks than hose. Otherwise, good quality and style in the price range. I'll definitely put Ara on my list of good shoes for my arthritic feet.

Comfort, Style and Support -
I usually wear an 8 1/2 and ended up keeping the 8 in this shoe. It ran a little wider than most of the Ara shoes. I wore the shoes the whole day the first time without any problems. The show is great with pants - very comfortable, stylish and the arch support is great!

I spent a great deal of time and effort trying to find a casual shoe which could be worn with jeans as well as dress pants.......and finally I found it... This shoe definitely fit the bill. Since I have severe arthritis in my feet, I never thought I would be able to order shoes online. However, after reading various reviews and trying several different brands, I finally tried Ara shoes. I am very satisfied with the fit and can wear the shoes for a full eight hours.

These shoes are remarkably comfortable. I have worn them for more than eight hour stretches without any discomfort. The arch support was a pleasant surprise too - not something I expected in a loafer. I ordered them in black and brown. The brown is very dark, almost black.
