Durable -
I have tried all the boat shoes and these Sebagos are the most durable. They looked and fit good from the start. I've worn them almost two years and although they are almost worn out, they have held together very well. My Sperry and Rockport and LL Bean dock shoes fell apart way too soon. My Sperry Gold Eye shoes are better looking, but too expensive and will not hold up like these so I just wear them on special occasions.

Ok but could be better -
Not a great shoe if you walk a lot as they are a bit stiff. Arch support is adequate. Although I ordered and received a narrow width, the heel is still a little loose.

Quality Gaps -
The shoe fits well, and "wears" well. One big shortcoming however - the "insert" is not stitched in. Didn't realize that right away. I know they save a few buck doing it that way, but it was not my intention to buy a lower quality shoe. I wish someone had written this review or that Z's would have at least pointed this out in the description - as I would not have purchased the shoe (and next time, if there is one, I will be careful to inspect the shoe meticulously before I begin wearing it). I was hoping to purchase a high quality dock shoe and was really rather price insensitive, but instead I got the same old junk. Very disappointed.

Feels 1/2 size too big. Irritates second toe on my right foot. The style is a bit klutzy. A positive is good arch support.

Outstanding Service -
In all of my years of ordering merchandise by mail I have never experienced any company like Zappos. The shipping dept gets a huge pat on the back. I have never received merchandise so quick. I ordered the shoes mid-afternoon day one and received my order mid-morning day 3. Less than 42 hours later. I'm bragging to everyone about Zappos. The shoes - outstanding quality. It is the exact shoe I had been looking for. But everyone else the shoe was much more expensive. This particular shoe is extremely comfortable and after wearing it daily for over a month is holding up very well to my abuse. As far as I am concerned there is no other shoe store, but Zappos.

Zappos is great...Sebago...not so much anymore -
If you've never ordered from Zappos, you can't believe how great they are on every level. However, I am disappointed in this shoe and this company. I did not know until I received these shoes that Sebago (like so many others) has moved their manufacturing to lesser developed economies. The result is a significant decrease in quality. Compared to my older US made docksides, these are cheaply made. The leather is a lesser quality, the stitching is sub-standard, and they just aren't as comfortable. I don't recommend them if you're looking for the traditional quality of the US made Sebagos.

Fit and comfort out of the box are great. The weight (size 14) seems a trifle heavy for a deck shoe, however once you are used to it, it's fine.

These shoes are great!
These shoes arrived very quickly, as always with Zappos. The shoe was exactly what I was looking for. The fit is true to size and the shoes are extremely comfortable to wear. Zappos continues to be our favorite online source for shoe shopping!

Great Shoes -
I have owned Sebago's before and wandered and tried the other brands only to return. These are by far the best deck shoes that can be purchased. They fit like a glove right out of the box and they look classy with or without socks.

Very nice shoe, but I ordered the wrong color.
The shoe fits well (10.5 narrow for me), looks well, and feels well. My only complaint would be the color is quite light and I wish that I had ordered the brown color instead.

Great fit and true to size as I was able to get narrow in this style. Obviously not as comfortable a shoe as the athletic shoes, but fine quality and styling for summer wear.

Great casual shoe...however the tie-strings do not want to stay tied...otherwise, comfortable and appear to be very durable.

Great laces-
I have a very narrow foot, actually a 14 AA. This shoe, even in a 14 B, is a little wide for me, but because the laces are woven instead of leather, as on most deck shoes, I am able to snug them up and get a comfortable fit.

Double wides!
Excellent shoe. Fits perfect. I have very short wide feet; this shoe is the best, extremely comfortable. Zappos is the best to work with. Returns are a snap. Average shoe stores don't carry wide width or double wide width shoes. I do all of my shoe shopping at Zappos and have for the last 3 years.

Comfortable and well constructed -
I usually go with the Sperry Topsider for a moccasin type shoe, but I thought I'd try something different this time. These shoes look good and are well constructed. At first, I got a slight blister on the back of one foot, but after a few hours of wear, that rough spot went away. The insides are a little rough, so I don't know if I'll be wearing them without socks. Overall, I'm pleased.

From reading other reviews, I thought that there would have been more padding in the sole. I like them and they broke in quickly. About the same as my Sperrys. Though they had the sole crack at the horizontal seams.

The shoe loos very nice but the fit is tight and uncomfortable. I'm still trying to break them in after several all day uses. A deck shoe shouldn't be this type of fit.
