Ros Hommerson is my favorite brand, as I am an 8WW. Their shoes always fit super. This pair, however, was fairly uncomfortable on my baby-toes about 2/3 of the way through my workday. They were begging for mercy by the time I got home! To be fair, I probably should have eased into them. But I have had such good luck with Ros Hommerson I put them on for a whole day right out of the box. I have confidence they will stretch.

Great for narrow feet!!
FINALLY I've found a pair of flats that I can wear. I have narrow feet, and I can get these in narrow (or even slim if I wanted). First flat that won't slip. I wanted something for the office that was classy, and this shoe is the one! I have the bronze and it looks great with brown dress pants. Beats wearing heels all day because it feels like butter!

Disappointing -
Shoes felt good when first tried on but upon an actual wearing they were tight at the top. Might have been just bad luck that they were tried on at a time of day when my feet were loosest. Either way, even with a wide size, they dig into my foot.

I purchased this shoe in black, and kept them because they really are very comfortable, especially for my wide feet. To be honest, though, I don't find them all that attractive, and because of that, even after only a few weeks, they've received "back of the closet" status.

SUPER cute and comfy!
Right out of the box these fit like a glove. The leather literally is as soft as kid gloves, too. They fit securely without being too tight. I've been trying to wear Naturalizer’s, Born and even Mephisto and I have to say that I feel that these shoes were custom made for me. LOVE THEM!!!

Dress them up or dress them down, they look and feel great. Terrific support while looking stylish. True to size. True to width. Easy to break in. After wearing them twice, they feel like slippers on my feet. LOVE, Love, love them!!!

As a woman with "duck feet" (11WW), it is a pleasure to find a pair of flats that are comfortable and look nice. I really like these shoes, I wish I could get them in red :)

I had hoped that this shoe would end my search for the perfect ballet flat. Alas, it was not to be. I love the pleating, the somewhat structured toe box, and the small heel. I found the elastic comfortable and it helped with an 8.5 that was just a touch long. However, if your feet swell at all, you may get that unattractive "puffy foot" look at the end of the day. I did not keep the shoe because of the thin sole which offers no support and the comparatively flimsy, cheap construction for the price: glued sections inside were becoming loose after 15 minutes in the shoe. I was also concerned that the soft, thin leather would soon lose its shape. Zappos continues to impress me with their dedication to excellent customer service, the huge selection, and their awesome shipping policy.

Good Old Ros -
Great ballet flat and I agree with the other reviews in that it makes my size 9WW foot look smaller. I can always find good looking shoes that fit at Zappos. The free shipping, fast delivery and excellent return policy keep me coming back.

Awesome ballet flat -
I agree that you can't beat this shoe for a comfortable ballet flat. No break-in time needed. More padding than most (I've tried on several!). Fashionistas may argue that it should be cut a tad lower in the front/sides but I love this shoe and think it's a great choice, esp if you have wide feet like me. The starburst-like stitching gives it a more contemporary look than the traditional bow-tie front (nothing against the bow-tie...I like that look as well), and (I swear) makes my size 9 feet look smaller.

Well-made but frumpy.
These are nice shoes, but the style is very matronly. I found them to run quite large as well.

Ordered 8.5 WW. This shoe suits the needs of a comfortable flat. Nice to have along to slip out of heels if you need to. Okay for moderate amount of walking. Good quality.

These are my first pair of Ros Hommerson shoes. Needless to say they won’t be my last! These shoes fit well, and have wonderful cushion in the sole. Zappos is just a nice company to do business with!

I bought this shoe in black -- now I want more colors. The shoes fit perfectly. I have wide feet and often shoes rub & chafe until broken in a bit. These did not.

Versatile fun shoe -
Always on the lookout for a comfortable, dressy shoe, I was attracted to "Allis" by the rich-looking metallic colors. The elastic edge and soft leather give this style the comfort level of a slipper, although the length feels a bit shorter than the usual 7.5--perhaps because of the reinforcement at the tip of the toes. The lack of arch support isn't a major issue since I don't use these for distance walking. They look equally appropriate with skirts and pants, and the metallic pewter I ordered is a very versatile color--not too flashy. I plan to order the bronze in size 8.

The only ballerina flat for wide feet -
This was my first experience with Ros Hommerson and I was not disappointed. It can be so hard to find a ballerina flat that does not make my small wide feet look like little boats. The Ailis was perfect in every way. It was comfortable, it was dainty! This is the only flat to get for the wide foot! And how nice that it comes in WW too!

Cute Shoe: odd fit -
I read others comments that the toe box feels smaller/narrower (agree), and the heel feels big (agree, also walked out of them). Overall, it's true to size in length (heel to toe), but has an odd fit. Adjustments can help. The shoes I really wanted from Magdesians are gone, so settled for this low heal with interesting toe box design, and find the pleated-look over the toes IS cute enough to compensate for its rather odd fit.

A nice flat that stays on and does not slip. Ended up with my normal size after several tries after reading other reviews. As with most ballet type flats, not a lot of cushioning or arch support.

Great casual flat -
This shoe was just what I needed. From the first wearing I felt like I had been wearing it for a long time, something I always look for in a shoe. It has very little cushioning or arch support but I knew that ahead of time. It is cute and comfy. I am happy with the choice of this shoe.

Pretty comfy shoe. I have VERY wide feet and found that the WW width worked well for me. The only problem I had was with the back of the shoe rubbing. Hopefully this will pass after wearing them a few more times.

I Love These Shoes!
These shoes are SO comfortable. They're like ballet slippers. The leather is very soft and the rubber soles are good for walking. I bought them for a wedding and they were dressy, yet comfortable enough that I could dance in them. And, best of all, they came in my size, 11EE! Thank you!
