I have now had to return these boots twice. The 9 (which I normally wear) were too tight. So was the 9.5. In fact I could hardly tell the difference. So, alas, these are not for me. Make sure you consider buying at least a whole size above your normal size in these.

As someone who spends a great deal of the day on her feet as well as dealing with back problems, I despaired of ever feeling glamorous in cute shoes again. But thanks to La Canadeinne & their fabulous design, Blanche, I can, once again, feel pretty & look hip during my workday while maintaining a great comfort level. Thanks to Zappos my beautiful boots arrived in the exact color & size I requested & in perfect condition with the perfect fit. Thanks Zappos & La Canadienne for bringing glamour back into this working woman's life.

I got my 9 WW boots yesterday and hooray they fit. I usually take an 8 W. My orthotics fit perfectly and the boots are very comfortable. I have a slightly wider than average calf and the boot fits. It is very hard to find a boot that is orthotic friendly. I special ordered another brand from a specialty shoe store for more money and I now have two pair of boots! I think this pair will be better for cold and wet weather. I can even where a pair of slightly thick socks with this boot to keep my toes warmer. The boots are wonderful and I am so happy. The only thing I would caution about is the sizing, because I had to go up a whole size and a width to get the right fit. Zappos took the first pair back with no trouble and credited my credit card very quickly. Zappos gets an A+ for service and notifying me when the right size came in. Great job.

I love my new and only boots. I wear a size 6 1/2 EE with a wide calf and short shin. I'm 5' 2" tall. The boots fit like a fine leather glove. They are comfortable and I can dress them up or down.

I have problem feet, and finding attractive shoes is very difficult. These are not only beautiful, but they are surprisingly comfortable, even though they only come in wide, and I normally wear double wide. I originally wanted the red, which looked totally adorable in the picture, but because the red were not available in my size I ordered a black pair in my normal size and a red pair one half size smaller, hoping they would fit. But when the red arrived, they were too shiny, while the black look classy and elegant. I kept the black ones and I'm entirely satisfied with them, but if they made the red in a non-patent leather, I would buy them in a heartbeat. This is my third pair of LaCanadienne, and while they are expensive, they are definitely worth it for those of us who have trouble finding comfortable shoes.

These are my first pair of La Canadienne. I had to get past the price tag of these babies, but these boots are hot! I bought the red which will definitely be sexy with a leggings/skirt combo and very stylish with jeans/pants. Not only are they great looking, but they already seem comfortable. Please order a size up. I have been a dependable size 7.5 for 20 years, and this is the first time I've needed a size 8 (I thought they had mistakenly sent a size 7). But the patent leather is to die for and the footbed is cushy. There are no pressure points yet on my toes (I have problem feet that often blister). The boot is cut very snugly: my calves are not teeny and they zip right up to my skin. I'm hoping it stretches a bit: I'll leave the zipper open an inch for the first few times I wear them.

Wow, the boots are fantastic. I was able to order them in a wide width and they fit perfect. I have already received several compliments. I have worn them comfortably for hours without having to "break them in". Delivery was right to my door and I am very satisfied with the boots and the service.

The boot is beautiful and almost fit. I usually wear an 8 wide, so I order up an 8.5 wide and I got it on, but if my feet were to swell even a tiny bit, they wouldn't fit. So I returned them and am on the waiting list for a 9 extra wide to see if that will fit. This is the only boot I have seen that appears to be orthotic friendly. My orthotic fit perfectly, but it wasn't meant to be in this size. I hope the larger size comes in before the winter is over.

I was thrilled with these boots, both beautiful and comfortable (and waterproof)! My only complaint is that they don't come in brown. You will not regret this purchase! And, of course, love Zappos!

Bought these in red patent last year and love them! People stop me in stores and on the street to tell me how beautiful they are. Super comfy and waterproof. Just bought the Lili style, too, because they are so awesome.

These are *the* best boots I have ever owned. They go great with skirts, dresses, dress-pants, and jeans, and the beautiful red color compliments a wide range of other colors. Also super warm, very comfortable, and oh so chic! I have literally been looking for a pair of boots like this for years, so I'm so glad I found these!

Wasn't meant to be -
This boot felt comfortable and warm. The height was perfect for my petite frame. So why did I return it? The look. I could not get pass how ugly looking this boot is. I was really trying to convince myself to keep it and hopefully I would get to like it but I realized that that just won't happen. Hopefully I can find a better looking one from this brand. And as usual, Zappos was fantastic!

These boots are great! They run true to size and are very comfortable. I walked a couple miles in them the other day and my feet were fine. I love these boots and cannot wait for it to get cooler so I can wear them more!

These boots in cherry are hot! I get compliments on them walking down the street. Pretty amazing for a lower wedge kind of boot. I bought them in a wide, my feet aren\'t that wide but I find that I do have problems with this brand and style being a little narrow for my foot in the regular width. They\'re pretty comfy too. I haven\'t done too many miles in them yet but I think they\'ll stand up. I\'m so glad I bought them!

My new La Canadienne boots are gorgeous and extremely comfortable. They are dressy enough to look good with skirts, but they have a sensible safe sole. The service as always was first class.

Perfect! La Canadienne Blanche is great boot. Super comfortable, great feel when walking (and I walk everywhere). I like the weight of the soles. Modern yet retro in a Stanley Kubrick's 2010 sort of way. Look even better in person. True to size. I can even wear them with my arch insoles and they fit perfectly. Don't wait for the sale. These boots are made with very nice materials. They have a good feel. I have short legs, 29" inseam in pant, moderately wide feet and bunions. In some shoe brands I don't need to go to the wide sizes. The D width in these boots are snug on me, but work, as the leather has a little give to it. If you have seriously wide feet you may want to go with the most wide size. The calf fits well, with lots of room and the boot is a good height for shorter people. Overall, a very nice, comfortable boot. I would buy this brand again.

I bought these boots for my upcoming move to Toronto. I wanted a more fashionable pair of boots for the winter besides my clunky L.L. Bean boots and these appear to fit the bill. The fit is perfect from the ankle down, but I need to take them to a cobbler shop to take in the boot from the ankle up since I have a pretty skinny leg. These boots are also very lightweight and not heavy like the rest of my winter boots at all. I look forward to using them this upcoming winter.

So sad...
Measure twice, buy once. The calf circumference of these boots is exactly as described but poor dumb me didn't take my own measurements into account before ordering. These look sleek even in widths and my 6-1/2 EE feet fit beautifully. I could zip them up but the fit in the calf was too constricting to justify the expense. Reluctantly returned.

I bought a pair in black patent leather. They feel great! True to size, comfortable, totally waterproof, and really warm. Almost too warm. The details and style are high quality and I was tempted to buy a second pair in red. However, the price stopped me from doing so. I will add that I have been looking at these boots for 3 consecutive years looking at them, but finally decided to pamper myself... it was like a dream came true.

Wonderfully comfortable and very versatile -
I've bought and returned SO many boots. A year ago I learned I had bunions and that my feet had widened during my pregnancies. So shoes/boots I'd been wearing for a long time all of a sudden hurt. I bought these as 8 wides and have been able to wear them for nearly full days, right out of the box. Very comfortable and they look great, especially for such low heels!

Immediately comfortable -
I find La Canadienne boots immediately comfortable and true to size. The calf is fitted so these fit easily beneath jeans. Any pant or legging tucked needs to be thin. Skinny jeans can fit into these unless they are long at the ankle. I have used these in the rain and my feet were warm and dry all day.
