Falling apart -
I received these slippers for Christmas 2007 and it's only February 20th 2008 and they have fallen apart! They are wonderfully warm, pack into a suitcase perfectly, and are poorly designed for any kind of lasting wear. The cashmere (shown on sole) is the only thing that holds the sole on! The cashmere is soft and thin, so must wear out from your foot pressure quickly. I have soft feet, do NOT wear slippers outside of the house, and I am so sad that these have not been well designed. They fit well (a bit tight across instep at first, but I have a normal to slightly high arch). The large fits my 8.5 foot perfectly. I feel that for the price - these should last a few years.

Unique, cute slipper -
Zappos customer service and shipping is unbelievably fast! I blinked and the shoes had arrived. Amy Jo Gladstone has some great slippers. I saw these online and decided to purchase, mainly because they weren't the generic types you find in the department stores and because of the style. The slipper itself is cute and dainty. It's all about the looks with this one. The only drawbacks are that the slipper is VERY narrow and runs small. I wear a size 5-5.5 in regular shoes and ballet flats. I ordered these in the small size and it just barely fits my foot. You should order a size up if you have a wide foot or if you want some leftover space once your foot's in the slipper.

Cushion -
They are a comfortable slipper but they don't have enough cushion. It feels like there is only a thin layer of fabrics between you and the floor. Other than that I love them.
