Sole wears down in 5 months and mis-sized. This shoe is so much wider than any 6E width we've tried. Although it does fit over a full sized orthotic, the foot without an orthotic needed a custom insert and double socks and still slides. Also, the toe end of the sole has worn down completely, unlike any other shoe this man has worn, and it's only been 5 months since purchase.

I bought the Drew Force Velcro shoes for my dad. He\'s an active 88 year old with aching feet. After trying various brands and sizes, he picked the Drew\'s. The shoes provide adequate room for his arthritic toes and corns. He no longer has aching feet when he goes for his daily walk or mows the lawn. He\'ll probably get a black pair for the winter. And I really appreciate Zappos\' quick service and free shipping allowing my dad to try on shoes without driving all over town.

Good but could be better -
Much wider than actual size...was not aware I could not walk outside with them...now I can't return them. Feel stuck with an expensive shoe I can’t wear.

Hubby loves shoes -
Hubby needs the widest shoe available with a high box and a low, but firm instep. At 74 he also wanted velcro and a pair that was not too heavy. This Drew shoe does all of the above. It also is very smooth on the inside. I ordered him a 2nd pair - to leave in the box for later.

Great product, I have a 6e 13 foot. These are the best fitting footwear I have ever worn. The free shipping is tops.
