When I first wore these shoes, the heel tab was incredibly stiff and rubbed against my Achilles causing a lot of abrasion. They hurt for a while and I was very disappointed with the shoes. But they looked so cool I gave them a second shot after flexing the tab a few times. Once it wasn't as stiff as wood I fell in love with the shoes. They are really cool and light; they stay clean surprising well and fit wonderfully.

An excellent shoe! I use them for indoor soccer, volleyball, and racquetball and they have been working fantastically for all of them. The first time I wore them for a long period of time the back of the shoe made the back of my ankle tender, but I never got a blister and haven't had trouble with it since. I have wide feet and was unsure about the shoes when I first bought them; they seemed excessively snug. However, the leather loosens up after a little wear and they fit very comfortably now!

At first, these shoes were great. They look good, and fit pretty well, if not a bit snug. After walking in them for about 2 miles, however, due to poor padding/design in the back, they took a layer of skin off of the back of my foot/ankle. On the inside back of the shoe, it's only padded at the top, and about an inch at the bottom of the back is unpadded. I believe this caused enough friction while walking to burn away my skin. Now it's painful just to put them on. They look good, but be careful if you're going to walk at a fast pace or a slightly long distance while wearing them.

Great shoes -
I am very happy with my Sambas. They look and feel great. I play soccer on the turf with them and I have great traction. On the pitch or walking in town, these shoes are awesome. One thing I notice with sambas is that they seem to run small. I am usually an 11.5 with all other shoes, including adidas...but for some reason I take a 12 with sambas. I knew this ahead of time so I was ok when I ordered a 12.

Samba Millenium - White With Black -
These shoes are extremely comfortable & durable. I have another pair that is several years old, I wear them almost every day and the sole still shows no signs of wear. I of course got great customer service from Zappos, and after I placed my order, the shoes were at my doorstep within 24 hours. Zappos has the best customer service of ANY online storefront, and I always go to them first if I need to order something online!

Adidas Samba Millennium best shoe ever!!
I have had a pair of these shoes for 9 years now and have been wearing them ever single day. Now I am glad that I still can buy another pair.

A mild Achilles’ biter...
Though not as bad as some other shoes I have had in the past, these Adidas come up just past my ankle joint and tend to dig into the flesh there as I walk. They have a tiny bit of padding, but they aren't shoes I will be able to wear for long walks, unless I want blisters.

My favorite sneakers!
Being a former soccer player, these are an amazingly comfortable, affordable and versatile pair of sneakers. A big step up from the classics, these sambas are fit for work, casual, or even the gym. Love 'em.

Perfect!
This is my second pair of Samba Millenniums, and I love both pairs. I have the black, and the white ones. Super comfortable, extremely durable, and a really clean shoe overall!

A while to get used to it... But THE BEST!
I have played indoor soccer most of my life. I always have got adidas but this is the first time I bought the Samba. I love it but I did had to get used to it, especially because he back part of the shoe is kind of hard when it is new... but is still the best soccer shoe I have gotten (way better than the predators).

I bought the white ones for casual wear because they look good and have a sort of retro look without being too crazy looking. I had the original Sambas when I was in high school and college, and wanted another pair minus the big tongue of the Samba Classics, so these were perfect. I have standard width feet (D size) and they fit fine in my normal shoe size. I walk a lot every day and they're holding up well after a few months. They look really good with jeans and not bad with shorts either. I've received several compliments.

Nice - I've been wearing Sambas and Samba Millenniums for about a decade, so I knew what I was getting, however these Millenniums felt at least a full size bigger than they should have.

I think this is going to be my new favorite shoe! Wore these today for the first time. They are super comfortable. Got compliments right away from people too. I have a narrow foot, and these run narrow. Better than expected support. Love 'em!

Cool looking, durable -
My son loves his Samba Millenniums. He actually has the Black/red stripes (AC Milan), which I think are cooler than the basic ones Zappos has, but the shoe itself is great. He is really tough on shoes (soccer, outdoor basketball, etc) but they have held up very well.

I wore the original Sambas as a kid, loved them and had several pairs of them throughout the years. I knew they were comfortable and long lasting shoes that also look great so I ordered another pair. I got them in white, which I never had before and I really like them. Add to that, the shipping was lightning fast from Zappos. It was my first purchase from them and I was extremely impressed and would definitely buy from them again and recommend them to friends also.

I have had sambas for years and I love them, but I had the original. I decided to try something newer, the millennium. They are the best of all of them. They are comfortable, great looking, and overall a sturdy shoe. I love them!!!

I've wanted a pair of Samba's for a long time. I really like the old school style, so it works for me. I wear orthotics so I ordered a half size larger and they work perfectly.

Shoe runs real small... they weren't kidding...
This shoe is super small and super narrow. I couldn't even try them on over carpet as my foot wouldn't even fit. So they are going back and I’m going a half size up. If you have never owned these before heed the advice I ignored....go a half size up at least. If you have a wide foot get the EE. This shoe is super small and super narrow...even more so than normal Adidas run.

Love the shoe -
Love the look and for the most part they are comfortable. They do take some breaking in. The rear of the shoe hits higher than most on your Achilles. So be expected to have to work on the break-in. Other than that they are wonderful shoes.

Great looking shoe -
It took a couple of days to break these in. Before that, the back rubbed on my heel which was uncomfortable. After it was broken in though I could not be happier with these shoes. Great look, very comfortable after break in.

I bought 2 more pairs -
I love these shoes (the white version). Perfect mix of looks and comfort. I bought my first pair and wore them all the time till I put a hole in them, then bought two more pairs, so that when I wear through my next pair I know I'll still be able to wear these amazing shoes. One caveat: the back is a little stiff, so I experienced minor blisters for the first week until it softened up.
