The shoe is a "slip on" and ought to be described as such. The closure system is for looks only, not function. With one foot smaller than the other, is crucial that I be able to synch up the shoe a bit and that is not possible here. Also, ran a 1/2 size large from what I am measured by my podiatrist. Cool looking and probably comfortable if they fit.

Soft as slippers -
The Anchorage is very soft and cozy with bare feet on the inside and so good looking and sporty on the outside. So comfortable. Very happy with these shoes!

Great fit, felt true to size, comfortable, able to wear all day long with no blisters. I had a broken foot and when I transitioned to a shoe, these made all the difference in the world. Thanks again Zappos...

Very comfortable and stylish, too!
Very comfortable shoes. If you need a heel at all, these are not for you - they are very flat, but wonderful to walk in and so easy to put on and take off. I really like the look, too!

If you're looking for a great flat for jeans (or a back injury), this is a good shoe. It has wonderful arch support, and fits my narrow heel like a glove. I doubt it would do for someone with a wide foot.

No Blisters -
I finally found a comfy shoe for everyday wear in the fall that gave me no blisters. The entire shoe makes your foot feel like you are wearing a cushy leather glove. Had to buy a half size bigger than I normally wear but was impressed that I wore them a whole day for the first time and had no blisters or red marks on my toes or heels. Love them. Will definitely buy more J-41's.
