The style is very nice for a "comfort" shoe, not as clunky as I expected. The toe area is very flat and therefore feels tight, and the ankle area is wide. However, having said that, the shoe is very comfortable to walk in, surprisingly so for something with such high heels. Overall, I am very happy with them.

Clarks Saunter Boot Review -
I ordered two boots of the same size and width. One pair was too narrow in the left foot and although the right foot was the correct width, it painfully dug into the upper part of my ankle. The second pair was the width that I asked for, but boots were a size too big. I loved the make and style of these boots but I had to return them because I can't wear them. They have been perfect if they were sized as labeled. I have worn Clarks boots before and they are usually perfect.

This shoe is a nice mix of comfort and style. There are boots that may have a bit more flash but you sacrifice the wearability and comfort. Wore these boots for 4 or 5 hours first time out and my feet felt fine. Liked them so much that I bought the exact same style in brown.

Not sending back but...
I really like them but the shaft above the ankle is really wide and not contoured to the lower leg so they feel like my leg is swimming in them.

Good Boot -
First time buyer of a boot online. Love Clark shoes. Very happy with them. Being comfortable is important and I found them to be wearable for an extended amount of time. Very happy with Zappos' speed and way of doing business.

Clarks are the best -
Clarks is one of the few shoes that I can wear right out of the box all day without having to break them in. These boots are great. I haven't been disappointed with anything that Clarks makes. Zappos is the best. Great customer service.

Liked how simple the design was, but the leather is not high quality and is very hard. It gave me a blister.

Love the boots!
The Clarks boots have turned out to be a great purchase - sturdy, comfortable and fashionable without being too masculine/cowboy or too high. I bought them in brown and find I’m wearing them more than I thought I would!

I love this boot. Initially, I ordered three other boots, but this was the only one I kept. The heel height was just perfect. My job requires me to be on my feet most of the time, so I needed a shoe that would be very comfortable. After I wore this boot, my feet did not hurt at all. Great shoes, definitely worth the price.

Indigo Clarks Saunter -
Bought these in black and cafe brown. The brown ones were instantly wearable, cute, and super comfy, so I expected the same from the black. Strangely, not so: the black ones had something in the lining that rubbed the top of my foot. Probably just a fluke. I would've exchanged it for another pair, but I'd also bought the midcalf version (Indigo Ramble) in black and decided to keep that one instead.

A three season dress boot -
A decent dress boot, well put together. Not as comfortable as low heeled shoes of course, but reasonably comfortable for heels. I love the classic look of these shoes, they go with anything.

Perfect Boots -
Love these boots! I wore them the first day to work all day long and did not get a blister or have any foot pain. They are a great shape also. I work on concrete floors and I bought two pair, one brown and one black. I wear them every day and I never have a problem. They are wonderful. I shopped a long time for this shape and I am thrilled with these boots!

Really Comfortable -
I am not quick to spend a lot of money on shoes, but I needed to have comfortable boots for work. I love these boots. They are really comfortable, even though I have wide feet - they fit great. They may not be the most fashionable, but they are a nice classic boot.

I wasn’t sure if I would like these, I thought the heel would be too high. But since I didn’t find anything else, I bought these. I was pleasantly surprised with these boots, the heel is a little high to wear all day and night, but it gives me great height and makes my legs look longer, so I think I can accept that tradeoff! They do have a bit of a western look because of the toe. It has the added benefit of making you look leaner without crowding your toes, because the toe box area is rounded and slightly pointed. I needed to replace some old casual brown boots, and these definitely fit the bill. I may look for something else with more comfort when these wear out, but they are super cute and look nice for work.

I have to rave about this boot. The fit and comfort is amazing. I have a high arch so it feels like I'm walking in slippers. Truly amazing.

First high boot I have ever been able to wear -
This boot has the look I was going for, but I was hoping for a shorter heel. However since there are not any boots out there that fit that criteria I figured I would try them. Well to my surprise they fit great and are very comfortable. I love all my Clarks shoes so I figured they would be good at making boots - they are! I wore them shopping (go figure), out to dinner and then to a movie without really noticing I had them on - normally a time frame my feet would never be able to stand. I had foot surgery several years ago and due to the pin most high boots bother my feet - not these. They put the padding in the right place - the ball of your foot. Due to that I normally order a W, but in this boot that was not an option and turns out not necessary.

This boot is very comfortable right out of the box. No break-in time was needed at all; I can wear them all day at the office and out afterwards with no worries. Heel height is perfect; comfort is not compromised for the great look. I would buy every color if I could!

I like the look and the comfort of this boot. I wanted a comfortable boot that I can easily zip on and off as needed and this fits the bill. It's the right height and comfort. I could wear them all day long and be completely comfortable.

Perfect short boot -
I love this boot. After three to four weeks of regular wear, it is still comfortable. The leather was initially a bit stiff but is now soft and supple. I am a large woman and walk heavy, but this boot is comfortable throughout the day! Looks very sleek under pants or a long skirt!

Great Boot!
These are really comfortable and stylish boots. I'd order them in all the colors if you had them! The sole is not slippery, and they run pretty true to size with a little extra width.

It is still high-heel boot...
The boots look great and the fit is good, but these are still high-heel boots. Comfort is better than most, but after wearing these boots all day, especially if you're on your feet for most of it, your feet will still be tired and looking to get into something a lot more comfortable.

Indigo Shoe Boot -
I ordered this shoe for my daughter-in-law. She has a hard time finding shoes because of the size (11M). I gave them to her as a birthday gift. She was very impressed that the boot was exactly what she wanted and that the fit was excellent. The boot was well made and the craftsmanship was very impressive. My daughter-in-law is a postmaster and on her feet all day. She couldn't believe she was able to wear them all day with no break-in time. Excellent shoes!

I agree with the reviews posted by others. These boots are comfortable and look great. The heel is a bit higher than I'd expected but they fit well and are spacious in the toe area.

I agree with whoever it was the wrote they look like children's boots. I really do not like the profile from above! I have small size 5.5 and they look like kids boots, no sophistication at all. So back they will go. Unfortunate because they seem to be very comfortable which was my goal. Just can't handle the look though. Maybe if your feet are bigger..?
