Great for short girls!!
Yay, finally! I have been searching endlessly for a versatile pair of boots, with the catch that I am not quite 5 feet tall and have short little legs. The shaft height of these is absolutely perfect for my short legs, and they fit great. The black leather is superb, also. Thank you Zappos, for not minding my excessive returns of boots as I searched for the best pair!

Great boot -
I had been looking for some "fashion boots" for months. I have a high instep and a slightly wide foot and these fit great. My coworkers threatened to steal them! I have black and dark brown and I do find the brown a little snugger. All in all a fun boot and fairly water resistant.

Not as round a toe as it looks -
Really nice looking boot, lots of comfort in the sole. I really needed a rounded toe boot because of my wide foot. I can get it on, but it is kinda narrow and has now started rubbing. I am hoping it will loosen up a little. Also, some movement in heel area.

Stand up boots -
Ordered 2xweeks ago and can safely say its love. Usually 9m, 8.5 fit well, width a bit snug at first. They are so comfy and lightweight I hate to take them off to go to bed! My first choice probably would have been the ranch (brown) for boots. After seeing the way too slouchy slouch of the ranch, (on an actual pair of legs) I am sooo glad they were sold out in my color. These boots are feminine and rough and tumble.

These shoes run about a half a size smaller. I normally wear an 8 and had to return them for a 7 1/2 which fit well. I love the casual look of the boot. They are a little wide around the calves to wear under jeans without it showing through. But look great with jeans tucked in. Overall a great boot.

LOVE 'EM!
I received these boots today in the brown sugar. I love these boots, but I am so disappointed. After reading the reviews, since only a few folks said that they ran large, I ordered my regular 9.5m. Alas, they are 1/2 size too large and there are no 9m left in Brown. I wear mucho Denim & brown is perfect. I ordered the black and hope that they look and fit as well. Even being too large, they appear comfy and fit my 14" calves perfectly. They will look awesome tucked in jeans. I have looked so long for a good looking, comfy, versatile boot that does not look like a granny boot. These are for any generation. Please get the brown back, Zappos.

Love this boot -
Fantastic boot. The sole is lightweight and cushiony, the styling is feminine and cool, they are so comfortable and come feeling broken-in. I get tons of compliments on them. I wish all my shoes felt this good. I can stand in them all day. You can pay more for a fancier boot, but they won't feel as good.

I absolutely LOVE these boots! I'm very particular about what I wear on my feet-I won't sacrifice comfort. I can wear these from morning till night. They look great with dresses, skirts and capris. If only the toe was less rounded...

I just got these boots and they do not need any breaking in. They are comfy and provide a very cushioned step, very similar to that bouncy feeling you get with crocs. This is the perfect boot, pretty true to size for me and plenty of room for my toes. Highly recommended!

Kicky boots -
Although I love, love these boots, they are about 1/2 size larger than most size-10 boots and shoes I've bought. They are still ultra-comfortable--the rubber soles make these the boot equivalent to Crocs--and every time I wear these to my chiropractor she says "You are wearing my boots again." I want to buy this boot again.

Almost Perfect if you have wide calves -
Beautiful, comfortable, stylish - I love these boots - But my calves are just to big for these to wear with anything but tights and I want to wear my boots over jeans too... :(

These boots felt great from the first time I put them on. They look awesome with skirts. I think they will be great for tucking in jeans too. I could wear them all day with no problems. Love them!

I have always had large feet (size 11)Recently I have had a foot problem and my podiatrist told me to wear a larger size. Right!! It hard enough to find an 11, let alone a 12. Since most of my boots now are aggravating my foot, I needed to find something. I was pleased when I saw these. Loved the style and,WOW, they come in a 12. They fit fantastic with plenty of room for a heavy sock if I want. The shaft is fine for me. Not too tight and not too lose. Thanks Zappos!

These are awesome -
I have spent many years lusting after the Frye Harness boot but alas, they just don't fit my feet. I'm glad I waited for these. They are awesome. The lining is a paisley cord and the boots are exceptionally comfortable and wonderfully cute. I wear them with everything. I wish the arch support was more substantial, but then again, I am finicky about my arch support. I love love love these!!

Not the comfort I expect from Clarks -
I am a hair stylist, so comfort is of the utmost importance. I figured ordering boots from Clarks was a no brainer, but I have to say I am disappointed as far as that goes. I can almost feel the floor through the boot. I am going to have to add gel insoles or something to them if I am going to be able to stand in these all day at work!

Neat boot -
I have a different opinion about the calves on this boot. I ordered a half size larger so I could wear thick socks and will need to return them for a smaller one, but I think the calves on them are a bit large, I don't have small legs either. I run so my calves are probably on the big side but still they were pretty roomy for me. They are very cute, like the other reviewer I agree on the height however, they could be a little taller but they are very soft and subtle. I love them and hope they will wear as nice as they look.

This might be the perfect boot.
I'm thoroughly happy with these boots. Not only are they very comfy with no break-in period (even for my weird flat feet), but they are also quite versatile -- they look just as good with a pair of jeans as they do with dress pants. I've been able to wear them with tucked-in skinny jeans, but they also fit under flared or wider-legged trousers (your mileage may vary, but measuring before you order will take the guesswork out of it). As boots go, they're surprisingly lightweight, and I've found that I can walk all over the place in complete comfort. I would definitely purchase Clarks shoes again.

Still unsure -
This style is a departure for me. I have an ankle injury, so I'm still adjusting to not being able to wear higher heels. This boot feels like a flat. The shaft is wider than I'm used to. That said, the leather is exquisite, so I'm inclined to learn to love this boot! Roomy enough for orthotics and wool socks.

Sadly, not for the wide-calved.
Don't even both with this style if you have above average calves -- they're pretty narrow, and there's no "give" at all. A shame, since they're pretty and the footbed itself seemed like it would be comfy.

Comfy boots with a little style do exist -
These are great boots, especially if you have wider feet. Love the shape, love the style, love the fit. Haven't really worn them much, so not sure how the leather will weather, but I would imagine beating these boots up a little might just add to them, you know? I do wish they were a little taller, as they hit mid to upper calf on this 5'10" gal but they're still keepers.
