I LOVE these shoes!
Winter sneakers! How great! I saw lots of shoes like this in Europe this winter (Dec 07), but not many in the U.S., so I was pleased to find these. They are warm and comfy - the lining is very nice - though they are a bit too nice for me to consider sloshing through deep snow in. Two smallish complaints: (1) the fold down tops don't really work up, since they are very loose, but folded down they form a nice seal against cold air coming up your pants; (2) they do make a sound (like Chuck Taylors) when walking, especially indoors, though this may fade the more they are broken in.

Though they weren't for me, they were a hit!
I decided to buy these shoes for my dad as a Christmas present. My father is probably one of the hardest people to shop for, but I thought the unique look of this shoe/boot was sure to impress him. Long story short - he loved them, says they were super comfortable, and very cool... I must admit I wasn't surprised, Hush Puppies has always made a quality product. Thanks Zappos!

Great Boot -
This boot is great looking and has kept my feet warm in Vermont's winter weather. I've trudged around in about 20 inches of snow and some slush and they've been great.
I wouldn't advise that you go puddle jumping in them- they are listed as water resistant not water proof. I've stepped in some 6 inch deep puddles, though, and my feet have stayed dry.
I will probably add some sort of insole to increase the comfort of the foot bed.
They can also be clipped down in place as a sort of bootie.
Overall, the most stylish winter boot that actually keeps you warm and dry.

Great looking boot and very comfortable. I'm a tenderfoot and these feel like I'm walking on pillows. They seemed a bit wide at first until I put on heavier pair of winter socks. Haven't been in any real cold weather yet (below 45) but I'm sure these babies are going to be real toasty this winter. Not a bad price either! And Zappos ships them to you for FREE!

A Truly Fine Shoe -
One of the best-looking, most comfortable winter shoes I've ever owned. Not only well worth the cost but Zappos had a great price.
