This is such a pretty shoe. It was very comfortable in the arch and I could have stood in it all day long except that the toes were so scrunched. Maybe I need to break it in more, or have the toes stretched. I would probably buy this brand again, but not a closed toe shoe.

Nice Shoe!
I really like this shoe overall. The only thing I do not love is that the base of the heel is a little small and makes the shoe a little wobbly. But other than that I really like the shoe a lot!!!

Gorgeous but too narrow in the toe -
These are beautiful shoes, but the toe was too narrow for my feet, even in the wide (D) width. I sent them back but would definitely order from Zappos again. The return process couldn't be easier, and the customer service is unbeatable. I love shopping with Zappos!

I love this shoe, but I did need to return 2 sizes before I actually got the right one. I usually wear a 6-1/2W or 7M. I ended up with a 7-1/2 wide. This review is based on the final order. I do celebrate working with Zappos. They made the returns very easy. I live in Alaska where the choices are few and online is perfect. I will use Zappos again.

A pretty good work shoe -
Great funky and competent looking shoe. A bit uncomfortable for long distance walking which can be troubleshot with some foot tape. So far the fit is close, which may be a good indication that the narrow sizes keep their shape. Fairly comfortable padding. Amazing service as always!

Beautiful Shoe -
This is a beautiful shoe, however it was send back. First I tried a 10 regular width, this was too big. I then tried a 9.5 regular width; this was too tight width wise. Finally I went for a 9 wide; still my toes rubbed the sides. I was quite disappointed I loved the shoes. They really are beautiful.

This shoe is beautiful; the picture doesn't do it justice. It is also very comfortable, the cushioning is great. I ordered AA and it fit perfectly.

Good work shoes - takes 1-2 days to break in -
I ordered a 7-wide, and have worn many other Sofft brand shoes and been very very happy with them. At first these felt too tight in the toes, and made my toes very sore and tender the first two days I wore them. However they stretched out, as expected (normal with all the Sofft wide widths), and now the toes are comfortable for all day wear, but the back end of the shoe is too big/floppy. Overall, still a good shoe, they look great, the sole is still the cushiony Sofft feel, and the heel is great (I'm very short and need 2 1'2" - 3" heels just to get my pant hems to hang right). I can wear either socks or thin trouser socks with them, good for work with slacks, and they look even better with jeans.

Surprise, surprise. Great fit (if it hasn't been stretched out by previous wearers) for narrow feet. The band in the front provides extra support so the toes don't end up taking all the weight. The bottom of the shoes are great on hard floors- no slipping, great traction. I searched for pumps for that special occasion, but these make me think I can start wearing 3" heels on a daily basis, like BC (before children) days!! I am a size 6.5 to 7- the 7 seems to fit me well (narrow).

I ordered the Sofft Talen in 11W. I have a high instep and I am a heavy person. I was looking for a comfortable shoe to wear to the office. This shoe was VERY nice-looking in my opinion. It looks just like the photo with a nice sheen to the leather. It was well-constructed and expensive-looking, not dowdy or matronly like most shoes in 11W.
Unfortunately, my foot slid forward and pinched the toes on one foot, so I had to exchange them. I believe the problem lies with my weight causing my foot to slip forward, not with the shoe design. I am exchanging for a shoe with a lower heel, the SoftWalk Montclaire, but I was so sad to send the Talen back. It looked good on, made my large feet look smaller and was cushy and well-padded.

Black suede is very cute -
Very cute shoe for casual wear with jeans or pants. I was looking for something a bit dressier to wear with suits, but I like the shoes so much I may just keep them even though I don't need another pair of casual black shoes. As always the Sofft fits my 6.5 W foot very well.

Great shoe for casual or moderately dressy -
These are very stylish "comfort" shoes. I have a wide foot with a bunion and I found these shoes to be pretty comfortable in spite of the heel height. I ordered a 7W which is my usual size (if the shoe is sized correctly) and they fit well. While I would not attempt to stand all day in these shoes, I normally know immediately if shoes are going to be uncomfortable and these are fine. They have lots of cushioning in the insoles and the rubbery sole absorbs shock well.

I teach and am on my feet for long periods. I wanted a shoe that was classy. These shoes look great, but are way too narrow, even in a wide.

SOO comfortable -
I was really pleased with these shoes. I bought the black suede and it is tough to find shoes in a wide width that don't look clompy. But my feet look small and the shoe is a bit of understated sexy.
I work all day on my feet on a tile floor and these shoes were comfy all day long. I will be purchasing the other colors.
Love 'em!

Disappointed -
I typically wear a 6.5M, but after reading all the reviews, I ordered this style in a 1/2 size up, i.e., a 7M. The shoe was too long and too narrow, so I ordered a 6.5W in the black suede. It seemed to fit fine after I walked around in them for about 20 minutes (although a bit long). Well, I've been wearing them for about 3 days now, and the only way to prevent blisters is to use moleskin around both pinky toes. Also, the tops of the opposite ends of my feet, near the big toe, are pinched by the shoe's seam. Perhaps my feet are just too wide for this brand, but I'm disappointed because I thought I'd found a comfortable yet stylish brand.

Great multi-purpose shoe -
I just needed a pair of practical, semi-attractive heels for work and play, and these shoes fit the bill. I have long and fat feet, so I bought a full-size bigger to compensate for sizing discrepancies. They fit almost perfectly. I'm sure after one day of breaking in, they *will* be perfect. Oh, and they look *so* much cuter in person. They have kind of a naughty librarian feel to them. Sofft's sizing *is* a little inconsistent, but I'm pacified by the fact that they offer a great range of sizes to compensate for this. All in all, I'm a huge fan of this brand. Don't let a number keep you from owning this great shoe!

A little tight for wide -
This is a great shoe to wear with a pant when you want a bit of a heel. I love the Sofft shoes - this one style seems to run a bit tight though. Needed a bit of breaking in.

Pinchy right toe -
Hi! These shoes look great and the left shoe is extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, the right shoe is too tight on my pinky toe and it is causing me a great deal of pain. Probably should have walked around in them a bit more before deciding not to send them back.
