Very comfortable, leather, well made -
I've been trying to find some very comfortable walking shoes for a long time. I've even tried very expensive shoes that cost $325. The Sofft Affinia shoe fit by far the best, is the most comfortable, and doesn't look frumpy like some other shoes. The shoe is well made with leathers and even the inside of the shoe is lined in leather. The insole is cushioned and makes my feet happy. Last week, I broke my right foot. When I visited the podiatrist for xrays and treatment, I was wearing the Affinia shoe on my left foot. He thought the shoes were great, provided a lot of support, and the cushioned sole were beneficial for reducing stress on the feet. He said was going to get a pair of men's Sofft shoes for himself.

I really liked the look of this shoe and it was a pretty good fit for my wicked narrow foot, but the lacing method was tough on the top of my foot, so I returned it. Bummer! It's a great looking shoe. Just not quite right for me.

This is a pretty good shoe. I like the euro -sleek -bowling shoe look of it. It seems to be very well constructed. There is room for orthotics and extra padding.

Comfortable and Stylish -
I thought this shoe looked like a man's shoe when I first bought it, but when I tried it own, it looked great with my slacks -- very trim and great looking. It fits my foot like a glove and somehow makes my 8-1/2 size look a bit smaller (I believe!). Extremely comfortable for all day wear.

Good fit with orthotics.
The shoe accommodated my orthotics quite well even though the insole was not removable. I wear a 10W but the shoes still made my feet look slim. Pretty comfortable, though the front of the shoe hit my ankle (possibly because my orthotics have a very high arch).

Affinia review -
These are very light, comfortable shoes. I haven't been wearing tie shoes much, other than athletic shoes, so I wasn't sure about the styling at first. Wasn't sure if they were sporty or "old-lady" shoes. Decided they were sporty and very comfy.

Fabulous!
These are the first pair of Sofft I have ever worn. They will not be the last! From the first time I put them on my feet I was delighted with the feel!! After hours of wear I was even more delighted with the comfort.

Talk about mistaken: as I drew them from the box (seemingly minutes after I ordered: we ARE speaking of Zappos)I thought "Bowling shoes!" and was disappointed because I don't bowl, nor would I choose the "bowling shoe" look with non-sports clothes. Because I had them, though, I donned them and stood in front of a full-length mirror, and second thoughts began falling over each other: 'bowling look' disappeared before my eyes; I loved the rich deep red-almost-burgundy leather, the unique lace up and the 'lie' of the leather around that opening; liked even the quilting that struck me initially as a "bowling" look. As the pliant leather molded itself to my feet I FELT the arch within touch my own, a rarity. But I needed certainty, given that first impression, so I put them away and, 2 days later, wore tham all day (inside). Like Clarks, Soffts often seem created on a last shaped from my own foot, never truer than in Affinia. Not usually drawn to oxfords, I expected at most a comfortable everyday-errand shoe, but Affinia is surprisingly elegant and sleek, complementing not just jeans and khakis I'd expected, but pants of dressier cut and, surprisingly, tights with a pleated skirt.
For Zappos, oh, dear. No words. Rather than repeat what all write -- no tax, shipping; incredible service, aids to shopping; ever-expanding variety of superb merchandise; the absolute nadir in people and the stunning service they give -- I long to tell the possibly-new-to-Zappos shopper something not in every review she reads.
But the wonderful reality is that "Zappos Service" is the measure for which other companies strive. No higher compliment. That Zappos' originators were inspired is clear; that they remain inspired is evidenced by unfailing commitment to quality and service. Don't change, Zappos.

Sizing problem - I'm a 10.5M in most shoes, which is difficult to find. To try & solve the problem, I'll try to find 11N & make do. I was happy to see that these came in that size - yippee! Not so fast, the 11N felt like an 11M, they also have a wide heel, so back they went – boo hoo! Shame too, because they felt pretty comfortable.

Almost, but not quite right.
Looks very nice with jeans or slacks, but overall this shoe feels a little too narrow. The arch is very prominent and feels a bit too far forward. I still haven't decided whether to keep them as I like the look so much... they'd be fine as long as I wasn't walking all day, but that's what I wanted them for.

Like them, but they aren't the most comfortable -
I bought other shoes from Sofft that seemed to fit a little better, and were slightly more comfortable. But these are still quite nice, and I really like the look with jeans.

Super Sofft -
These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had on my feet. I have a narrow foot with a high instep, so not everything fits me well. These feel great all day long. I now have two pair and wear them whenever I can. My only complaint is that after only one wearing, the toes on the brown pair were scuffed. I have not had the same problem with the red pair.

I love this shoe! I purchased a brown pair from a department store and it was so comfortable and cute, I had to purchase a black pair and chose ZAPPOS - the best shoe store ever!! Great shoe, true to size.

Great Looking Shoe -
I love the look of this shoe: casual, but smart and stylish. It looks great with jeans, but is nice enough to wear with slacks. The ONLY caveat to this shoe is that I found it very wide. Even with a heavy sock the laces almost meet in the middle! I had to put insoles in the shoe to make them feel less "sloppy". However, I liked them so much I bought another pair in brown.

Very stylish - bought it for restaurant work since it had a non slip sole. Gosh it looked nice, but seemed big. Definite gap at the heel. Too bad!

Pretty Shoes -
Very pretty shoes. A little narrow at the instep /ball of foot. A little wide at the heel. No padding to speak of, but dressy shoes usually don't have padding [which is a shame]. The red color was rich and inviting.

First time's the charm!
I needed a comfortable walking-type shoe that looked a bit dressy. The Affinia fit the bill perfectly. I like the combination of suede and leather for looks. The slimness of the shoe gives it a more than casual appearance. I would purchase these shoes again. By the way, this is my first pair of Sofft's.

Expensive, but nice shoe -
The price was a bit high, but I think they look great - I got the "red" which is more burgundy in color. Looks good with jeans or casual slacks. If they were less expensive, I'd get another pair in a different color.

Wonderful shoe!
This is a very attractive walking shoe. I'm very fond of the Sofft brand and this is a winner. I wear either an 8 or 8 1/2 wide and in this I chose an 8. It's a bit wide at the heel and I wish it had excellent rather than just okay arch support, but I am pleased overall with the look and fit. It's flexible and graceful for this kind of shoe and comfortable. I like color, so I got the wine, which goes with many other hues.

Cute shoe which would look good with tweeds and black slacks, but did not fit my feet when orthotics were inserted. My feet sit too high in the shoe which kept the shoe from fitting snugly. The shoe seemed to run a half size larger compared to Ecco shoes.

Not very good looking, but comfortable. I am on my feet 8 hours a day, and they required no "break-in" time. Well made shoe. I would recommend this shoe.
