Adorable look, less adorable feeling. Toe box is disproportionately small and narrow for the wide size; the length was right, but because the toe box is so narrow, the overall fit became uncomfortable quickly. The strap is strictly decorative; it's placed too far forward to be used to hold your foot in (and why a half-size longer wouldn't work to compensate for the width problem). That being said, they are super cute, I got a lot of compliments. Beautiful but mean shoe.

I wear between a 7 and a 7.5. I ordered a 7.5 and felt they fit wonderfully! The instep is padded and a dream to be in all day. They have a 1940s styling/look to them. The heel height is perfect for transitioning from the office to evening wear. These are a keeper!

Just can't replace a good thing - I bought these shoes in an attempt to replace my pair of Sofft Calypsos, which I had worn into the ground. Maybe I had too high of expectations after the comfort and style that I found with my old pair of shoes, but the Gemma just didn't cut it. The toe box is pretty narrow and less comfortable, and the strap is too low to serve its purpose, thus my heel kept slipping out! Overall I found these shoes to be a bit off, in both style and comfort. Zappos is great though, I was able to return them for no charge! I just bought a pair of Sofft Veronicas, I hope that they work out!

I LOVE these shoes. They are padded in just the right places and look so pretty with the flower on the strap. My feet are not hurting at the end of the day when I wear them. I bought an 8W and the size is perfect.

Nice but...
Toe box seemed a little shorter than the pair of Sofft Courtney’s I just purchased. This toe box is a bit more pointed, and I felt like my big toe was pushing up against the end of the shoe, although I know a larger size would have been too long. Still, the shoe is probably way more comfy than most I own. Now that I know about this brand, I don't have to settle for less than the perfect fit -- I returned these shoes, ordered a second pair of the Courtney in a different color, and will keep my eyes out for more Sofft shoes on Zappos. BTW, standard shipping arrived faster than expected. Zappos is a godsend.

Cute but painful -
This shoe is adorable but a pain in the toe! I have only wore twice and I already have blisters (I have only wore them for a total of 4 hours). These shoes seem to run 1/2 a size larger (at least if you order a wide shoe). If I hadn't worn them already, I'd be sending them back.

Too tight -
I just received these in the black leather and so wanted to able to keep them. But as previous reviewers have found, they are very tight in the toebox and I even showed toe cleavage (which I don't care for) It did fit well in all other places. My heel didn't slip out, the support was where it should be, but my little toes went numb in seconds.
Too bad. The look is great, with a nice slender heel and would be very easy to walk in. I'll keep looking.
I do owe several other pairs of Sofft and know I can never rely on it to fit. The styles are so different, I just have to try them on. I always order a size 10, medium width.
I love their boots!

LOVE these shoes! They are super comfortable for being such a high heel. I have wide feet, and so finding stylist, high heels can be trying. These shoes are totally worth the price. I'm actually going to buy more.

Toes too tight.
I bought these shoes hoping against hope that I would be the exception to the "tight at the toes" problem other reviewers wrote about. Sadly, I wasn't. I wear a size 10W. The width of the shoe at the ball of the foot was perfect, but then tapered too much, squeezing my toes. Another pair of very cute shoes returned. Sad.

Ouch!!
These are maybe the prettiest but most uncomfortable shoes ever. I bought them in a wide but the toes were SO narrow and stiff that I nearly fell to my knees in pain as soon as I put them on. I could barely walk to the mirror to admire how cute they were. I bought 3 pairs of Soffts and they were all so adorable and all had this same tiny toe issue. It's a shame, they would've been perfect.

Love this shoe!
I loved this shoe! I've been having problems with my ankle and arch pain, but I wore it all day to work on Friday and then out dancing the next night, with no pain at all. It is very comfortable, though somewhat long in the heel so I needed heel inserts. It's also very attractive--I'm trying to think of an excuse to buy another!

Very pretty shoe. I usually wear a 6 ½, but it was too tight across the toes so I got the 7. The heels slip a little, but if I put an insole in, I think it will work.

Shoe LOVES her new shoes!
This might be the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I needed a slightly more dressy heel, and these were the answer! I wore them comfortably from day one, with no blistering and no panty hose. It's the soft inside that does the trick. Plus, Zappos delivered so quickly. Awesome, that's the word!

A comfort shoe that doesn't look clunky -
This is a great shoe! I walk and stand for my job all day and my feet felt pretty good even after a long day. No rubbing, no "hot spots". Nicely padded, comfortable and still very feminine.

I really like this shoe for looks and comfort. I have narrow feet (plus high arches) and the narrow was too tight over my toes, so I tried the medium and this worked well. I think I will order these again in another color. It is nice to have a heel that is neither too wide (foot slipping around inside) or unattractive.

As far as comfort and padding in the shoe, it's very comfortable. I ordered the size I always wear but had to return the shoes for one size larger. I am very pleased with the style and heel height. When ordering I would go up at least 1/2 size.

Love this shoe. It's so hard to find comfortable and cute heels, and these are it! The cushion is so nice, you can walk all day in these shoes, and the heel is thin enough to be cute, but thick enough to make walking in them easy. As usual, Sofft provides a high-quality shoe with good materials (quality leather).

Great shoe, but the fit isn't the best -
I have a narrow foot and typically order 10N. This was tight around the toes even though there was plenty of space above my big toe. The heel slips too, as I saw in several other comments. I really hoped it would fit me well because it's so adorable on, but it wasn't meant to be.

Very comfortable shoe -
I bought these shoes for my sisters wedding and they were extremely comfortable throughout the night. The only problem I had with them is they were a bit large in the heel, but if I had gone with a size smaller they would have been too tight. I did eventually take them off for dancing but not so much because they hurt, they were just sliding off my heel too much. In all they were very comfortable and I am very happy with them.

Ouchy!
The pain that these heels inflict is horrible. I am used to high heels, and will suffer in the name of beauty. It felt like putting on a cheap shoe. I love this brand, but the shoe not so much. Shame they are really cute.
