While the shoe is cushy and comfortable, the patent trim around the toe box makes for painful, squished toes! I've tried stretching them - but they still pinch!

Narrow at the toe -
Ordered based on other customer comments about the comfort level. Felt a 1/2 size smaller due to the narrow toe. I think the soft insole might make them feel a little smaller than the actual size. They pinched at the toe as soon as I put them on. They are a great looking shoe, but I didn't reorder in a half size up b/c decided to go with a closed toe instead of peep.

Love them!
My feet are sensitive from running a lot, so dress shoes are often extra uncomfortable for me. These are very comfortable.

Darling, but sooo very narrow!
I'm an 11 B for all things, but the toe box in these was so tight, I felt like Cinderella's wicked stepsister!
But they were so sassy, I exchanged for an 11 Wide, so maybe that will work.

Such a pretty shoe!
This shoe is just beautiful. I didn't even want to wear if for a few days it was so lovely. It is very comfy for my actual foot (which is wide), but my big toenail tends to stand up a little bit and the peep toe rubbed the wrong place. It didn't bother me until the end of the work day, and not enough to keep me from wearing these shoes. Zappos service was super speedy and easy to return some other shoes I decided not to keep. I've never had anything I ordered online get here that fast, even quicker than overnight. I'm still looking for some more Sofft shoes, as they are really nice to the feet.

These shoes are really sexy without being trashy. Unfortunately, I have a mostly casual wardrobe, so when I tried these on, I immediately knew I wouldn't have anything fabulous enough to go with them. Too bad! They are really comfortable, too.

I LOVE THESE! Sooo pretty and comfortable, too! Great with a business suit or pants. Felt a tad small - I usually wear a 7.5 and these were a tad small, but I think they will be perfect once I wear them around! With a slip on, you definitely don't want too big as they'll slip off - perfect for my suit! Thanks Zappos! Lightning quick as usual!

These are really beautiful shoes! They are super comfortable as well! I have a medium to narrow width foot in a 9 to 9 1/2. The 9 1/2 in a medium width fits me great. So, these might run a little small. I usually have problems with heel slippage and not enough padding in the ball of the foot, but these don't slip and they feel like tennis shoes! The opening of the peep toe does rub a little, but I think that will go away once the are broken in. By the way, I had ordered a 9 and it didn't fit. I called to exchange for a 9 1/2 and they were overnighted to me before I even returned the first pair! I love Zappos customer service!

Great shoe - I was a bit worried when I ordered this shoe. I was expecting it not to fit. This shoe is true to size and true to width. I have a fat foot and this shoe is the most comfortable heal I have ever owned. It’s also so cute!!! Great looking shoe.

Ordered the brown and 'gold' piped pair. I liked the style of the shoe and they seemed comfortable once I figured out the cardboard was still lining them, seriously it wasn't that obvious to me! :-) I did return them as I thought the piping would be more caramel and the gold didn't look good (cheap). I might re-order in the black as my other Sofft shoe is very comfortable.

This was my first Sofft purchase, and I'm really bummed because the shoe wasn't quite right. The peeptoe was a little painful; it just hit my big toe in the wrong spot. However, the biggest problem was that the shoe was way too long. I'll be sending them back later today. I'm looking for some cute pumps, although it doesn't seem to be the season for them. Zappos service was great, though!

So pretty, and the fit (I wear 7.5W) was perfect. I ordered the aubergine/burgundy, but returned them because the color was a bit different then pictured. I was hoping they'd be a bit closer to red than purple, but aubergine is an accurate description! Color was the only reason for my return -- a gorgeous shoe, and great fit.

The look of this shoe is fabulous, problem is it is too narrow. I tried and tried to see if this shoe would be comfortable for me, but after 1 minute in them, my feet hurt so badly I couldn't believe it. I own several other Soffts, but this one will go back. I'll keep trying. I could have ordered them in a wide, but then my heel will slip out constantly. It is just too narrow at the widest part of my foot and I don't have wide feet. I am always fine with a normal width (any brand I can think of) and have, on occasion, even ordered “narrow”. Sofft is good if you find the right fit. Unfortunately this is not very consistent. Zappos is great as always!

Perfect dress/work shoe and sexy too -
I purchased this shoe, in black (8W), several months ago and have thoroughly enjoyed wearing it. It's supper comfy which I often don't say about peep-toes. I think because the peep-toe opening is smaller than most, it doesn't slice into my toes while wearing it. Have worn all day with no complaints and have gotten tons of compliments on them. Oh, yes and the fit is great; like it was made for my foot (no heel slippage, no cramped toes).

This shoe is totally gorgeous and comfortable. The patent trim really jazzes them up. I got the black and they are very versatile, complimenting both suits and jeans. I was worried when other reviews mentioned toe discomfort, but decided to give them a try anyway. The toe cutout was mildly irritating to my big toe on the first day of breaking them in, but I don't feel a thing since then. I wear them all day to work and they are amazingly cushiony for a dress shoe.

Fabulous!
I have several pairs of Sofft shoes, and this pair does not disappoint! The combo of the suede and the patent leather makes this shoe very elegant without being too flashy. I have a more narrow foot, and I love that they fit snuggly. I walked downtown in them for about 3 hours, and had no pain, blisters or anything bad to report!

New fav dress shoe -
I was looking for a dressy black shoe for a cocktail party wedding where I was on my feet for about 5 hours. This was the perfect shoe! Comfortable, cute and very easy to walk and dance in. It is also my 3rd pair of Sofft shoes and won't be my last. I love that they are so comfortable but that's not what you'd think by looking at them. These will now be my go to dress black heel. I usually wear a 7.5 in Sofft and did in the Gayle too, though I added a little non slip insert in the toe to make the fit perfect. Another 1/2 size down would have been too small.

I love these shoes. I wear a size 12 and it is very difficult to find stylish, affordable, comfortable heels that don't make my feet look like I'm wearing ski boots. Very feminine. Comfort is great. I'm on my feet all day! Only one thing bothers me...My heels slip out! Drove me crazy and almost returned the shoes, but I put some padded insoles in and that seemed to do the trick.

Sexy, Hot.....and COMFY!!
I wear a size 12M and finding shoes that are sexy and comfortable is a HUGE challenge!!! The typical style is either "Grandma comfy" or "Stripper sexy"...neither of which I care for. These shoes are very sexy, classy and perfect for working in a professional environment. The peep toe isn't huge like other styles where my toes get squished out all over the place. Plus the footbed is solid and comfortable and feels significantly better than other shoes where I'm walking on leather covered cardboard. Ouch!! I bought the black and the chocolate on chocolate and I LOVE them both!!!

Amazing Shoes!
I work in retail, and it's hard to look fashionable and be comfortable at the same time. Yes, I had to break these shoes in... Maybe on the 3rd time wearing them only for four hours at a time, they became perfect. It's worth the breaking in. I can now wear these shoes for 8 hours, and being on my feet all day. I now own four pair of Sofft shoes. I am absolutely going to buy more for my spring wardrobe!!!

Beauty is Pain -
This is one of the most beautiful and flattering pairs of shoes that I have ever owned (which is saying A LOT since I have a size 12 foot!). However...it is also the most PAINFUL shoe that I have ever owned! I bought them last minute for a wedding and, not only was I in too much pain to dance, but I ended up limping around for the last two hours of the event. Even though I have long, narrow feet, my toes were painfully pinched all night. I had also added heel pads but still my heels kept slipping out. Can't say that I would recommend this shoe, although, because of its beauty, I really wish that I could...

LOVE this shoe! Really sharp and very '40s with the peep toe and platform. The platform makes it so the pitch is just right and even though it's a 3 or more inch heel, it feels really comfortable. I got the Aubergine and am considering getting another pair in the brown/bronze.
