Rockports are good comfortable shoes. I'm a size 13 w/ slightly wider feet and can only wear certain brands of shoes/sneakers. Rockports fit me well.

I was looking for comfortable, affordable dress shoes. These meet all the criteria altough for the last one, it is a close call. They do shine well. I wore them to a wedding and had no concerns. However, there is a partially riged grooved rubber sole so dancing is not feasible. For other dress occasions they fit the bill. This shoe is available elsewhere; however, rarely in the extra wide size. I tossed two other pairs of dress shoes and will use these exclusively.

Rockports are always dependable. Comfortable, standardized fit -- the 12 EE in any of their styles fits me like a glove -- reasonably priced, and good looking. Love my Rockports!

Needs some breaking in, 3-4 days. I wear thick orthotics and with a shoe stretcher I was able to get them comfortable and wide enough with a D width. Fairly stiff bottoms, for me that is a good thing. Not sure how durable they will be time will tell.

It is roomy in the toe but too big in the heel. It helps that it has a string to tighten. Husband has major toe issues, hammertoe etc. He bought an 11.5 4E. His foot was a medium width but the toes are so bad he has to have the width to accommodate.

I have a narrow foot and finding shoes to fit in regular shoe stores is difficult. Finding my size in several shoe styles at Zappos was a joy. The free shipping both ways, and a year to try them out, made the decision to order the Rockport Margin shoe very easy. I now have a pair in black and brown and am enjoying the comfort in wearing shoes that really fit. The courtesy and fast delivery is a great service. Thank you.

This is a versatile, good looking, and comfortable shoe, which is great for walking and travel. It can be worn in summer or winter, with jeans, chinos, or cords. It can even be dressed up with a sport coat, although it is much too casual to wear with a suit. The styling is quite plain. But with a nice shine, this is my no nonsense go-to shoe.

These shoes look super with chinos, jeans, cords, and casual wool trousers. If you want to look good, spend less, and feel great, these shoes fit the bill. Orthotics fit perfectly, so if you need to carry around your laptop or lift up your four year old son - these shoes are ideal.

I like this shoe. The color is definitely chocolate (dark brown). I like them. The toe shape is square and not pointed is about the only thing that you may want to note.

A Perfect Commuting Shoe -
I returned to commuting with the unwashed masses after almost five years of working at home. With my flat feet I needed a good sturdy show with adequate arch and ankle support but one that didn't make me look like I was wearing orthopedic oxfords like Florence What-A-Nightingale. Needless to say, the Rockport Margin does the job and superbly so. Great price, great support and great look.

I've owned several pairs of Rockport shoes over the past ten years and have always liked them. This pair is no exception. Right size and fit perfectly. Very comfortable to walk in right away. Good arch support. Great shoe at a great price. I tried every store in town to find a new pair of shoes and my daughter recommended I try Zappos. Pleasantly surprised at the selection and the prices. Free shipping and the shoes came in three days after I ordered them.

Great shoe - as advertised!
I can see why most people like this shoe - it's the most comfortable shoe I've bought in years (outside of an athletic shoe). It looks a tad bit plainer than I thought it would, but it's still a great looking shoe.

A Nice Fit -
The Rockport Margin sure fits nice; quite comfortable with a firm grip. Having only had this shoe a couple weeks, I am still waiting to see how it holds up. Being a service technician, I am on my knees a good deal, and living in Alaska, I deal with a variety of weather conditions. The heel of this shoe I believe may need a little to be desired; very little tread and the look and feel of hollow, hard plastic. The sole, a 2 piece construction has good traction, and looks to be of good quality. The appear quite stylish and can only hope they hold their appearance and prove to be durable.

Not for people with flat feet -
I had high hopes for this shoe. But after 2 weeks of wearing it to work my feet and ankles were just killing me by the end of the day. These shoes are just horrible for anyone that has flat feet. They have very little arch support and also run a little wider than indicated.
They have a nice look, but they just aren't that comfortable if you have to do a lot of walking/standing.

I had owned the previous version of this shoe that had a slightly different toe. Was not sure about the square-ish toe on this shoe but I like it; and it feels better than the previous version. They are indeed a little hot, but I do not mind that.

So far, a real nice shoe!
The size and fit was comfortable right out of the box. I tried them out on carpeting in the home for a full day before venturing out on the concrete and asphalt and have no complaints.

I can't write a review for my husband’s shoes. However, he finds them comfortable. At 79 he still works & is in the office, the shop and airport. They are more comfortable than his dress shoes walking through an airport. They do not hold up like a more expensive shoe but we just replace them often. If I had one complaint, the heel area is rather squashy. BW

SOLES MAKE BLACK MARKS -
------BEWARE OF THIS SHOE------ Received this shoe yesterday and found that it fit and looked very good. I wore them around the house for several hours today and suddenly started to notice black streaks on my linoleum floor. I dragged the toe of my left foot across the floor in front of me and watched as a black streak formed. I didn't use all that much pressure really. Very disappointed to say the least. I was considering keeping them and just being "careful" not to walk on hard surfaces in my house. These are going back to Zappos.

The style, color, and comfort are great. I tried a lot of shoes, and this one was by far my favorite. I plan to buy a 2nd pair in the "chocolate" brown color (for the future) and a 3rd pair in the black color. It felt tight for first 3 hours, but then it softened to fit my foot nicely.

For a long time my colleagues have been telling me that Rockports are the best. They were right, I never felt so comfortable. I read somewhere that 50,000 federal agents wear Rockport. I will never buy anything else.

 |  | I would just like to tell you how AWESOME ZAPPOS is! Sadly, I very recently was not loyal to you and ordered these shoes from another site because they had the size! I placed that order on the 23rd, received a notice of confirmation. It was only today I called them because I haven't heard anything about the order. They had canceled it because the credit card info for some reason was not correct. They never notified me, though they said they sent an email. Now, I am not one to miss those kinds of emails. Anyway, I told them they will never be a ZAPPOS with that kind of service! And I will order from you, as always! Teaches me never to cheat on Zappos!
