These shoes were great for walking in, great with skirts and dresses, and virtually no breaking in period. But they didn\'t last two months! The leather wore a huge hole by the heel in the first three weeks. Granted, I live in Brooklyn and walk a lot, but these shoes are too expensive to be wearing out this fast. Not typical Clarks quality.

Great shoe -
I bought these shoes in brown a year ago and loved them so much I wore them out, so I bought another brown pair and this black pair. I bought them both in the same size (8.5) but for some reason the black ones feel a little snugger. It's manageable, they'll probably stretch out, but it's noticeable. The black and green colors look a little unusual together, but it looks nice with a black or gray outfit so I'll be keeping them. The brown ones look very nice. Overall, I love these shoes for comfort.

Flimsy -
The shoe was comfortable and nice looking. Unfortunately it was quite flimsy; both shoes tore from where the heel is attached to the upper portion of the shoe. I had hardly worn it for a few months. It was quite a disappointment because I had paid a handsome amount. Never has that amount of price proved so bad. I have another Clarks shoe I purchased for much less which I have been wearing everyday and that seems to be quite sturdy. There is something wrong with this one though.

Don't order size down like all other Clarks. This one is cut for a narrow foot. Order your own size or even a 1/2 size larger. I ordered size 5, when I am really 5.5 to 6, so the length is good for my foot, but it is tight overall, especially around toes. Nice look, modern with a small heel and comfortable. Great shoe. The black is not a true black. Maybe more like an indigo/tan/cadet blue or something, but not black.

These shoes are, without a doubt, the most comfortable shoes I have had. I have a number of Clarks and this gives support, ease of putting on the foot (no buckles), and my pick for all time!!

Shoe runs large in this style, so I order 1/2 size smaller, but otherwise the look, fit, and comfort is wonderful. Thank you.

Not for those with wide feet!
They were super comfy, but within two weeks I’d always worn the feel of the shoe all the way through the leather. The sole of the shoe is smaller than my actual foot. Too bad- I really would have liked for these shoes to have worked out!

I love this shoe! I now have three of the four colors. I like the unusual two-tone retro look, and these fit perfectly out of the box -- SO comfortable! I'm between size 7 ½ and 8, with slightly wide toes (but still med width). I have two of the colors in 7 ½, which fit great with tights or thin socks and I got the 8 in the black to wear with heavier socks. I always get compliments when I wear these shoes. They're great with either skirts or pants. Thanks Zappos!

Finally found it -
I wanted a brown shoe good for walking that would look OK with pants and skirts. After trying six pairs of shoes, I came upon on Clarks Organza and hit the jackpot. I walked all day in them on a trip in Spain. The elastic strap is just a little too tight on my high arch when wearing my orthotic, but fine without it. Support is so good, I don't need orthotic anyway.

Great comfortable travel shoe -
I seem to constantly be searching for a good travel shoe that will work with slacks and capris that will hold up to lots of walking on a variety of surfaces. This seems to be it! They look more formal than all the canvas maryjane styles out there and have excellent arch support.
I like the two tone in that I will be comfortable wearing them with black and tan pants/capris (which is usually what I travel with).
I did order a 1/2 size down, but now I wonder if I should have ordered my regular size. My big toe rubs on the front side of the shoe (not the very front, but on the side). However, I think a full 10 would have been too loose in the heel leading to blisters.
I'm very pleased with this shoe!

Comfortable, but not necessarily cute -
This shoe was comfortable from the time I took it out of the box - not one blister, even without socks. It's not quite as dressy looking as I'd hoped, so I only wear it to work on dress down days. It's also not as cute as some similar styles that I'm seeing these days. I normally wear an 8, but on the advice of previous reviewers ordered a 7.5, and still have plenty of wiggle room.

Very comfortable!
It took me some time to find a size that fit. I had to go a half size smaller than what I usually wear. The width felt right. On day 1 I had little blisters on the sides of my pinky toes, probably because I wore them without socks. They were very comfortable on my foot overall. I do a lot of standing and walking at work and they were supportive and cushiony. They look great with pants and I even wore them with a skirt--it's a little bit of an alternative look, but I liked it.

Fits too big, but I liked them enough to keep them -
Clark's have always fit me perfectly but this shoe definitely runs big. I was afraid to try a size smaller but now wish I had (too late since I've worn them). I like the style and they complement several of my outfits.

Very cute, comfy, trendy shoe. They fit real well and I felt they were true to size. They were comfortable the minute I put them on and I was able to wear them with no socks the first time without any problems. I love the 2 tone look and they look great with black or olive toned khaki pants. They are quite flat so if you need a bit of a heel, skip these or your pants will drag on the floor. I saw them in a Garnet Hill catalog and had to have them - of course I checked ZAPPOS first for the FREE SHIPPING...once again, Zappos came through!!!

This shoe does not fit consistently. I am a pretty standard 12 in a Clarks, but these 12s were too big even with thicker SmartWool socks and Good Feet orthotics. Thanks to Zappos’ great service I reordered in an 11. The tan fit perfect and the brown in an 11 was too small. I really like the tan/brown combination. As with the black, I think the brown bottom has an olive green cast.

I am returning the black. It is muted black and the brown almost has green shade to it. The brown and tan are nice. They do run a little wide, but I kept one pair to wear with thick socks this winter. On one pair the strap was looser making the shoe slip. Orthotics work well in this shoe.

Slimming and comfortable -
Straight out of the box this is a sturdy and comfortable shoe that I think actually makes my oversized feet look smaller. I got the oak, and the semi-spectator look breaks up the foot visually. Much more supportive than many flat shoes, looks good with a skirt.

Great for all day wear on concrete/business setting -
Fit is slightly loose, but comfortable, length is true. One day to break in. Good shock absorption. Convenient that the black and brown shades can be worn with both pant colors.

Nice adaptation to the Mary Jane. Fits comfortably, true to size (7). Not "clunky" as I first thought they might be. Very fresh looking shoes!

I have purchased Clark's shoes before in a size 7. I purchased this pair in a 7 and they fit exactly the same in length, but are a tiny bit wide, which is perfect as I intended to wear them with socks/tights. Great shoes, really cute, I get tons of compliments...

I'm taking a trip to Europe and was looking for a good pair of comfortable walking shoes that weren't sneakers, something that could be both casual slightly dressy. These are perfect! Not only are they cute, but I found them true to size and surprisingly supportive. I have a wide foot and a long, high arch; these fit perfect across the widest part of my foot (toe box/ball of foot area) and they had great arch support. The insole is very cushy, especially in the heel. I got the black leather, but they are actually both black and brown: black in the body of the shoe, brown in the base and mid-foot strap. Not what I was expecting, but it looks great!

This shoe is cute and comfy. The only thing I don't like about it (at least at this time of year) is that my feet get hot in them. I will have to tuck away and pull out again in October/November. Will look awesome with tights and skirts!

Pretty cute and comfy -
This shoe is pretty cute for Clarks. I'm pleased with how they are made and with the arch support. They DO run a 1/2 size big. I kept mine so I could wear them with thick socks in the winter. Don't size up if that's what you want them for.

Very comfortable, right out of the box. There really was no break-in period. The leather is thin on the heel, so unfortunately it became torn after just a couple of times driving in them (the gas pedal foot).

Funky, comfortable, but not quite right -
Overall, I really liked the look & feel of these. I am returning because they were about a 1/2 size too large and the two-toned color (more pronounced than I expected) didn't work. They reminded me of fancy bowling shoes and might look cute with jeans but I needed something more versatile. I would probably have tried a different size if they came in a solid color.
