Chacos are great!
The lilac has a suede finish which looks nicer than the plain leather. Holds foot OK (not as well as the Chaco Rosa). Great Arch Support. I like the Rosa better, but still a great sandal!

Close to the right shoe -
This Chaco in the Sand color was close to the right shoe for my hard to fit feet. I wear a 6 C and need a good arch support. This shoe was wide enough and looked fine but the arch support, unlike any shoe I've ever tried before, had too much arch support. The raised area went all the way to the outside for the mid foot. Whose feet have arches that do that?? I'll keep searching with Zappos--my favorite shoe store!

Best sandals ever -
I bought these last spring before going to Disney with my kids. I just ordered a black pair in another style because they didn't have them in this style. These are the best sandals, I wore them for 14 ours straight at Disney, and another day for 11 hours. I usually wear Danskos and Naots, and these were even better. I wear them all the time around town and even to the beach, they've really held up! I need the width that they supply too. Great!

Great shoe but not for feet with high insteps -
I have plantar fasciitis. This is a very comfortable shoe with good arch support for that but I have a high instep so the leather straps going way up the foot were not very comfortable. Foot design flaw not shoe design flaw! :)

Super comfortable and nice looking!
Chaco, Earth, and Keen shoes are the only brands I can wear without Superfeet inserts, because they have such wonderful arch support. So when I needed a nice looking slide for work, I looked at these brands. I am extremely happy with my Frieda sandals. Just like my Chaco water sandals, I can wear these all day with no foot pain, and they are nice looking too. The only thing I would like to see improved is to have a suede footbed rather than smooth leather, as the leather can be a little sticky in very hot weather. However, I'm very happy with them overall.

I plan on returning these shoes because they are too wide and flap too much when I walk and the outer sole is too high and is uncomfortable. I have a different pair of Chacos that I love (they are adjustable water proof sandals) but these just don't work for me.

Comfy and well-made -
These are wonderful. Comfy, well made, and have a built in arch support that even works for someone like me with fallen arches, and who usually wears orthotics from the podiatrist.

My only complaint about the shoes, they gave me a sore toe from rubbing on my little toe too much. Other than that, they were great.

Too much arch support!
I generally need arch support (I've lived in Dansko's, Birkenstocks and Mephistos), but this felt like too much. It almost felt like a negative heel. Also in person the shoes look and feel clunkier than in the pictures.

I love Chacos!
The Chaco Frieda is a funky looking slide with ultimate comfort. Unlike my Chaco Zongs, Frieda is dressy enough for me to wear to work. Frieda offers all the support of the classic Chacos, too.

Leather Sandal with Good Arch Support -
I bought this sandal because I need a shoe with arch support. Looks-wise I'm not that crazy about it as it has a very broad toe area, broader than any human toes would require. At the same time the shoe is a bit narrow for me over the middle of my foot (instep I guess)but I know the leather will stretch. Since I have a foot injury I cannot worry about looks. The main thing is it is a pretty comfortable shoe once you break it in. Lengthwise, it is a generous size 10 because I cannot always wear a 10.

I am constantly looking for shoes (sandals) that have a good arch support. Chaco did fill the bill. Normally, I do not get to wear sandals so they are a very pleasant and comfortable surprise!

I had never heard of Chaco. I had previously worn Teva, Naot and Birkenstock. I love Chaco. They are incredibly comfortable (the leather at the toes is still getting broken in and rubs a bit) They are not clunky looking, but more dressy inspite of the comfort!

Comfortable, pretty, probably fairly true to size -
I'm on the constant quest for sandals that look nice, but which I can also wear to walk a few hours at a time...and so far, these come close. The biggest problem is the fact that Chaco doesn't do half sizes; I got the 9, which I wear in their hiking sandals, but those are adjustable and these aren't. I'm sure the 8 in these would have been too small, so I'm sticking with the 9. I've been wearing them for about a week now, and so far so good!

I just received these & am extremely happy with the way they feel so far. The wide width and high arch support are perfect for my hard to fit feet. They look really cute on too, more of a dressy style, not big and clunky at all. Love them!
